22/06/2025: Boring and bland sushi. Even the edamame beans were boring and lacked salt. Some of the rolls were poorly rolled and fell apart when you picked them up with the chopsticks.
14/06/2025: The sushi rice has no flavor, the ingredients don't seem fresh and it's generally tasteless. Our seaweed salad had a very rotten lemon, with mold on it.

19/06/2025: A few years ago it was a great place!
I LOVED IT! Sometimes I would rather have Indian food there than get sushi as a takeaway…
But it has seriously declined in quality, especially in the last year, when our number of orders from there has also been decreasing. Today was the last straw. It didn't taste like it used to, the quantity has become smaller and smaller. This time I could see the bottom of the bucket at the first scrape with the spoon. Almost no more taste in the food. Seems like the quality has slipped. That was the last time we bought food there. Unfortunately, it used to be a huge favorite.

17/06/2025: The layer cake was old, the coffee had no coffee flavor and must have been sitting for a very long time, the port wine was sour and the blankets and pillows need to be washed. Really bad experience

12/06/2025: Great place, a huge portion of good pasta came all the way from Køge. Was served by a young boy with a cap, super sweet and fast. Highly recommended from here

Somewhat hard to find places to sit as you need to move to the center, always a long queue.

12/06/2025: The sad thing is that they have removed their small hot cocoa with sticks and only sell the large ones now, but then you just buy a large one and divide it into 2 cups with a stick in each
23/05/2025: On Tuesday, May 20th, my friend and I visited Espresso House Lyngby Hovedgade, where we each had a cup of coffee and a sandwich with chicken and tuna mousse, respectively.
In the evening, both my friend and I started to feel incredibly unwell, and had very similar symptoms despite the fact that we had only eaten together at Espresso House.
Since May 20th until now, May 23rd, I have had extremely severe food poisoning, with vomiting and a racing stomach. I am dehydrated, and can't keep food in my stomach in any way.
I have visited Espresso House Lyngby Hovedgade for many years, but will never set foot there again.
The hygiene is not at all good if you can get food poisoning from eating there.

30/11/2024: It's been a long time since I've had such a bad burger, completely dry and the bun was almost like dough. There were 5 of us as ordered, 2 got the wrong burgers. 1 was lactose intolerant and had cheese on his burger.
The food was supposed to be ready at 7pm, but didn't get it until 7.30pm.. very disappointing experience
22/10/2024: Best roast pork sandwich I've tried in a long time, better than the one from Slagter Lund. And then it's meat with animal welfare at the fore, which is a rarity for a barbecue bar, even at the same price as it costs to get your fill of the Mac.

09/07/2025: The wait alone has to drag this place down. There were literally 4 tables of customers and yet it took 50+ minutes to get 2 burgers and a chicken sandwich. The burgers were mediocre on a boring dry bun that sucked the excessive amount of liquid from the contents so it was completely limp.
Won't be back.
14/06/2025: Nice place, but the price is too high.
A 20 cl glass half filled with ice cubes in a drink costs 70 kr. That's literally one sip.

04/02/2025: I am writing to bring to your attention a very unpleasant experience I recently had with one of your dishes. I ordered a durum from you today, and to my great dismay I found a nail in the food.
This is completely unacceptable as it is not only extremely unhygienic but also deeply disgusting. I expect that your food safety is top notch and that such mistakes do not happen.
I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.

17/07/2025: My son and I were gone and never again!
We stood for several minutes where the employee just pretended we weren't there, when we were finally served my son got a burnt chicken sandwich, the bread was inedible. When I went up to the employee to show him the sandwich he just looked at me askance and said I could just throw it in the trash can behind me and that we could get a new one. We waited a long time for a new one even though there were almost no customers. I have never seen anything like the arrogant employee at Joe's in Lyngby Stor Center before.
18/02/2025: Always fresh and super friendly young people and who doesn't like Joe & the juice 🤷🏻♀️ healthier alternative, on the go or sit down alone or with others - no regrets from here!

13/06/2025: Young staff. Very polite and kind/ welcomming attitude. Cafe feels like in the 1990'es /Brd. Streakers; For some of us; like coming home. Recommended! Non pretentious. Family friendly. Be that as it may; as Regan said: "Tear down this wall" and Tom Jones used to sing it: "Ah, watch out; You might get what you're after; Cool babies; Strange but not a stranger; I'm an ordinary guy; Burning down the house ..." So maybe the building itself are not destiny's to stand pretty much longer?
12/06/2025: I had a great experience at Café de Picasso. The food and service exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely try their brunch buffet on my next visit!
