10/12/2024: Chose the 3-course chrome menu for lunch for DKK. 655,— which is a find for the money. You always get the three small classic taste experiences before the official menu and 3 pcs. according to the menu (but still missing the "gold bar"). All dishes are fantastic, but the veal is some of the best I've had in a long time. Søllerød Kro is also always phenomenal at matching wine to the food.

09/12/2024: Søllerød Kro is undoubtedly one of the most charming and cozy inns I have visited in a long time. The beautiful decor, both inside and out, sets an atmosphere of elegance and relaxation, which creates an almost magical atmosphere. It is clear that the staff values ​​the guests' needs. We were greeted with great hospitality, especially as we had a pram with us. They provided plenty of space and took into account our specific wishes. This was really appreciated. The waiters were extremely professional and thorough, and their approach was both pleasant and attentive. One waiter in particular stood out. He radiated humor and warmth and went out of his way to adapt to the dynamics of our company. It is precisely this kind of detail that elevates a service experience from good to excellent. The food was undoubtedly a high-quality taste experience. The dishes challenged our taste buds in exciting ways and offered something for every taste – although not necessarily everything for everyone. The overall satiety level was a challenge. The time between courses was a bit long, which was covered by the serving of bread - in such abundant quantities that it almost seemed as if it should fill more than the signature menu itself. It was a sad feeling, especially considering the gastronomic level one expects from a restaurant like Søllerød Kro. Another surprise was that the menu contained no meat, apart from a canette (duck) dish. It's obviously a matter of taste and preference, but for me personally it was a disappointment. Søllerød Kro is a Michelin restaurant, and with this naturally comes a price that reflects the high level. However, it was shocking to pay DKK 480 for water All in all, Søllerød Kro was a memorable experience with many positive elements: fantastic service, exciting and well-prepared dishes and a wonderful atmosphere. Still, there were small but significant elements that dragged the experience down.

20/08/2024: I just tasted theeee most delicious Austrian cake/pastry today, made by the lovely Alexandra. It was 10 out of 10 buttery, caramel-flavored goodness!! :-D What a perfectly wonderful way to spend the evening! :-D

29/12/2024: Do yourselves the favor of going to Jægerhuset, you will not regret it. Super cozy atmosphere, with a nice view of Furesø, delicious food and not least exemplary and warm-hearted service from the staff, especially a sweet young lady named Kriller☺️ 5/5⭐️

26/12/2024: 2.juledags frokost blev en skuffelse. Burgeren var kold ved servering. Den stegte sild var meget kold. Fiskefileten var tør og også kold. Flæskestegen tør og kold. Foruden dårlig mad var rummet fyldt med larm fra 3 skrigende babyer.

09/12/2024: 4 venner til frokost. Spiste hver en “lille frokostanretning” Dejlig mad, og alle blev mætte. Der var travlt, alle borde besatte vi sad ved vinduet og havde den fineste udsigt over Øresund.

15/09/2024: My husband and I picked up dinner today. Vitello tonnato, Carpaccio and Tiramisu. Delicious authentic Italian food. Sweet and welcoming young girl, took our orders. The wait was short. We will definitely come again.

19/10/2024: In short: Fantastic! Erhan, the owner of the place, is super friendly, knows all his regulars and is always ready to have a chat about how things are going. It is extremely busy during the school meal break and when there is a flea market in the square on Sundays, but otherwise it is usually possible to get there quickly. Erhan has both shawarma, chicken, falafel, fritters etc. on the menu, but the absolute customer magnet is the shawarma, which is delivered fresh every morning (and is often sold out before 6pm, so don't wait until just before closing time). He has also developed his own recipe for pickled red cabbage, which is absolutely recommended for both pita and durum. You have to go to KBH to find a similar quality - Holte Kebab gets a huge recommendation from here!

14/12/2024: Var blevet anbefalet at komme fra venner som er meget begejstrede over restauranten. Det blev vi også, Stor og lækker buffet med alt! Sød og god betjening. Kommer helt sikkert igen.

17/11/2024: Doesn't keep what they promise. Booked a table on the website where you could see their full lunch menu. On arrival you had to pick up the menu card yourself (there is no table service, although they were not busy) and I asked if we could order everything on the card - which they confirmed. So we settled down and chose our dishes. Then we went back up to the bar and placed our order. Only at that point did they think it was relevant to tell us that the only thing you could order were the prefabricated smørrebrød, which were in a refrigerated case. Poor attitude to service and we found another place to eat. The building is beautiful and with a little sense of cozy decor the cafe could be as well.

29/12/2024: Cozy but expensive. The dishes were small, so we weren't actually full. Good coffee. Good bread. Service ok - prices are high

15/12/2024: Exceptionally. The food tastes fantastic - every detail and raw material has clearly been thought of. Their baked goods are worth the trip. Cozy location right by the beach - large terrace when the weather permits.
