27/10/2024: We, my wife, my son and I had the pleasure of visiting the star restaurant Søllerød Kro. From the moment we walked through the door we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff who embodied Danish hospitality in every detail. The restaurant's ambience is as inviting as it is stylish, creating a perfect backdrop for an exceptional dining experience. The highlight, however, was without a doubt the signature menu, which prides itself on using natural, local ingredients. Each course was not only a feast for the eyes, but also a taste revelation. I could really taste the love and care that went into preparing each dish. The combination of creative, seasonal flavors and first-class presentation made each dish a work of art. The food was served with a passion that made the entire experience even more special. I can highly recommend Søllerød Kro! It is the perfect place to enjoy Denmark's exquisite cuisine and be enchanted by the warm atmosphere. A true gem that every foodie visiting Copenhagen should definitely visit!

26/10/2024: The food was boring and half cold, just boring when it was supposed to be such a nice inn. Table setting was nice and good. Nice space around the table. The coffee was far too strong, so it was served in something reminiscent of Espresso cups. Give the guests a proper cup of coffee.

16/11/2024: The food is right in the cupboard and the real Italian chefs prepare your food even the waiter is Italian, everything is so delicious, if I could fit it in my stomach I would have bought it all Because it's super delicious, like being in Tuscany again 🤤😪 childhood memories come back from their food, try it :) Plus we got 4 courses with soda 367 really cheap

20/08/2024: I just tasted theeee most delicious Austrian cake/pastry today, made by the lovely Alexandra. It was 10 out of 10 buttery, caramel-flavored goodness!! :-D What a perfectly wonderful way to spend the evening! :-D

29/10/2024: I reserved a table on Friday for 6 people for lunch and Saturday. It was only possible to order until 14:30, so it was. Confirmation came by email, SMS and in Google calendar and sounded at 14:30-18:00. We all showed up at 6 o'clock. 14:30 but was met with the fact that we had not booked and were asked to show the booking. We could see that, so the staff set up a table at the entrance, placed from the view over Lake Furesøen. We were also far from the staff, so every time we had to order, or simply have it ordered, e.g. the ordered schnapps for the herring, we had to seek out the staff in the kitchen. The food was quite good, but ordering and serving took time, so when we ordered the coffee (in the kitchen) the staff were clearly on their way home, despite the fact that it was only 4.30pm and the reservation was for 5pm. 18. However, we got the coffee free of charge and could afterwards go for a walk to enjoy the view we didn't get during lunch. Sad experience.

15/09/2024: My husband and I picked up dinner today. Vitello tonnato, Carpaccio and Tiramisu. Delicious authentic Italian food. Sweet and welcoming young girl, took our orders. The wait was short. We will definitely come again.

16/10/2024: Rosenhuset har en god beliggenhed og en hyggelig atmosfære, men faciliteterne fremstår lidt slidte. Brunchudvalget er middelmådigt med klassiske småretter, men intet der skiller sig særligt ud. Desværre er prisen alt for høj i forhold til både madkvalitet og betjeningen.

13/10/2024: Very cozy cafe place. Good food. Don't know what 'red' means (steak) though. SMALL delicious portions. Bread = 1/4 slice... Young sweet staff - not the fastest, but they enjoy themselves. Update 2024: Still cozy. Generally good brunch (boring cheese. You sit VERY close and there is a LOT of noise. Good service.

19/10/2024: In short: Fantastic! Erhan, the owner of the place, is super friendly, knows all his regulars and is always ready to have a chat about how things are going. It is extremely busy during the school meal break and when there is a flea market in the square on Sundays, but otherwise it is usually possible to get there quickly. Erhan has both shawarma, chicken, falafel, fritters etc. on the menu, but the absolute customer magnet is the shawarma, which is delivered fresh every morning (and is often sold out before 6pm, so don't wait until just before closing time). He has also developed his own recipe for pickled red cabbage, which is absolutely recommended for both pita and durum. You have to go to KBH to find a similar quality - Holte Kebab gets a huge recommendation from here!

25/10/2024: Completely fantastic sandwiches, with delicious home-made bread, at a really good price, and with exceptionally good service. Can only be recommended!

30/08/2024: Always a cozy place in fantastic surroundings

04/08/2024: Had pasta with beef, it tasted fine, but unfortunately it was swimming in too much cream. Service is difficult to assess since you both order and pick up the food yourself. And you also have to clean up yourself.

06/11/2024: Et fantastisk spisested i gågaden i Birkerød. Vi fik både forret og hovedret, og alt smagte skønt. Opmærksom service af de søde tjenere, og rigtig hyggelig indretning. Vi glæder os til at besøge jer igen.

29/10/2024: Det var klart det ringeste måltid, som vi begge havde fået i lang tid. Heldigvis var det også ret dyrt… Betjeningen, vinen og brødet var fint nok, kødet var af en sløj kvalitet og var forkert tilberedt (også 2. gang), cocktail, pesto, forret, tilbehør og sovs var intetsigende og alt andet end hjemmelavet (bearnaisesaucen var så varm at den kun kunne komme fra en spand). Stedet er en hån mod det italienske køkken og kokke-håndværket generelt.

08/11/2024: I stopped by today, bought 2 coffees, it was 8.15am. I want to know if I had to borrow the toilet as the ones at the harbor are closed, I was told I couldn't, I could try the Rosenhuset, I think that might be where I'll buy my coffee in the future, otherwise I'll get 2 to 3 times every week.
