13/09/2026: Our first visit. We will definitely be back!

09/09/2026: Excellent Indian restaurant. The dishes were truly delicious (sometimes a little spicy, but that's to be expected). Friendly and very fast service.

15/08/2026: This is very close to the Nørreport bus stop, so the location is very good. The food was really good, and the ambience was also nice. They have an Indian thali-style concept, and we tried the classic one. Allacart is costly.

13/08/2026: We went for the tasting menus (one regular, one vegetarian) and overall really enjoyed the experience. The mango lassi was unique and delicious, and the appetizers were a highlight, especially the burrata. The non-vegetarian menu included a butter chicken curry that my partner loved, but the vegetarian main was a vegetable dish that came across as quite dry. I’ll admit I was a little jealous watching my partner enjoy their dish, and would have preferred something like a paneer tikka masala, or another option closer in style to the butter chicken. It would also be great if staff asked about spice preference, as the food could definitely have had more of a kick for our taste. One less positive note: two waiters dropped something on my shoe while clearing the table, leaving a curry stain behind. Overall still a nice meal, just a few things that could be improved.

18/08/2026: Unfortunately, we cannot agree with the good reviews. Location: Although there were several tables available in the restaurant itself, both when we arrived and when we left, we were placed in an annex where a larger birthday party was sitting. It seemed a bit strange, and there was of course a correspondingly high level of noise in there (there were only two of us). There didn’t seem to be any particular dress code, but we still felt as if our presence might disturb the guests in the main room. About the food: The lassi was very small, although the waiter gave the impression that it was 0.4 liters. It also tasted like something from the supermarket – very sweet and very thin. You don’t usually get that from Indian restaurants. The lentil stew was barely seasoned, very tasteless, and had broccoli, cauliflower, and carrot in it, as if they had simply put leftovers from another vegetable dish in. If that's what's supposed to represent the special and long-standing experience that the chef is presented with on the menu, then I don't know what to say. All in all, a very disappointing experience. Too bad.

22/08/2026: Way too expensive When the dish costs 139 kr, I expected rice to come with it, but had to pay 18 per person for rice

22/08/2026: Disappointing experience, bad food. We ordered take away, where the main courses were quite disappointing. But the worst is the starter, as we had ordered a vegan mix. It was marketed as a mix of different starters. But it was just a mix of slightly different vegetables for 150kr.

29/08/2026: Have had food from here several times and I must tell you they make good Curry and other good Indian cuisine. Always a pleasure to eat at or from Al-Diwan. Great place to bring the family or just a romantic date. 10/10.

09/09/2026: The food I got was good and cheap. There are a lot of stalls with different kinds of food. The music was too loud for me. Outside there were also speakers placed in many places, which made it impossible to find a quiet place to sit and eat.

14/09/2026: Excellent experience at Zafran Aarhus. The buffet selection was fresh&hot. The space is welcoming, and family friendly. Also, the staff was attentive and friendly. Fantastic value for money in central Aarhus. Also try to prebook a table during peak hours.

23/07/2026: South Indian specialties - chicken seasoned with hot pepper/masala sauce and rice as well as a delicious eggplant dish 😋☀️ were absolutely perfect on our July bike ride into Aalborg in brilliant sunshine. The small elegant restaurant in Sankelmarksgade fully lived up to our expectations - and more 🥇 thank you for a lovely meal.

19/08/2026: Amazing Indian food, including a dish I've rarely had outside of India: Marsala Dosa. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ If you haven't tried it, you absolutely must!

09/08/2026: Our hunt was to eat south Indian delicacies and found this place. Ordered Cauliflower 65 and onion fritters for starters . Idli, Dosa and rainbow rice for mains . Everything was decent but sambar was average bit sour and lacking authentic taste. Could do better . Attached picture is one third of the portion of rainbow rice. Overall nice experience.

05/08/2026: Pizza no. 11 is my clear favorite, and I order it every time. Always fresh, tasty and perfectly baked (I choose it without garlic – just out of personal preference.) Highly recommended!

05/06/2026: We recently celebrated our son's birthday and ordered from Koriander Farum. It must be said that it is one of the best Indian dishes we have had in years. The best part of all was that we could change the individual dishes to get more spice. Absolutely good quality and quantity as we ordered dinner for over 20 people. Can 100 percent recommend for Indian food.
