16/08/2024: We really enjoyed our dinner at Haervaerk. The dishes were innovative and used local ingredients, which we loved. Also, the staff was wonderful and very accommodating - going above and beyond to cater to my allergy throughout the entire meal. If you find yourself in Aarhus, definitely book a table at Haervaerk!

26/10/2024: The food doesn't taste good at all, I've got a thin stomach from all that spice. There are almost no Turkish dishes, it is very spicy, salty and oily food. Way too much noise inside when waiters are cleaning and fixing things. Don't think it's worth the money.

29/10/2024: Jeg er desværre nød til at give Kohalen oplevelsen "Frygtelig". jeg har forståelse for at der travlt, og det er dejligt, men så skal man sige på telefonsvaren at man ikke tager telefonen. Har ventet mere en 30 minutter og hele tiden fået at vide at jeg er nummer 1 i køen. Det er simpelthen topdårlig service. Så drop Kohalen og spis et andet mere kundevenligt sted

29/09/2024: Wir hatten 3 verschiedene Smørrebrød einmal Scholle Kit Remoulade, einmal schweinebauch und einmal hünchensalat. Hähnchen und schweinebauch waren superlecker, die Scholle war zu weit gebremsten (frittiert?) und auch zu salzig. Ansonsten super. Auch der Service war sehr gut und nett. Das Ambiente war typisch dänisch. Die Toiletten hätten deutlich gepflegter sein können.

21/10/2024: Great little coffee spot. Best when the sun is shining and you can sit outside. Main issue is there’s usually only one person working. If three people come in close to each other, things move very slow.

05/10/2024: Uninspiring filter coffee and refrigerated pastries. They use pastries from Berta and coffee from Nomad, both excellent producers in their own right. However it’s not appropriately used at Monk. It seems as though Monk prefers to focus on upcharging and the “vibe” rather than the actual products.

16/08/2024: I love board game cafes in Denmark in general. In this board game café it costs 35 dk to reserve a table (per person). I could usually choose any game and play it with friends. There is even a shelf where you can buy games on site. There are some snacks and drinks. The staff is friendly, speaks English, among other things, and, when asked, will check whether a snack contains certain foods/allergens.

28/09/2024: Their cake etc. is not something they bake themselves, but get it from a central office. Too bad. It looked hugely mass produced. Service was below average. I asked a little about the food and coffee, and they didn't seem too keen to tell or talk about the food, quite the opposite in fact. I wanted to sit and work for a bit, but ended up walking instead. There was just a bit of a weird vibe in there.

03/11/2024: This was my second time having dinner here, but it was not as great as the first time unfortunately. When arriving at our reservation on time, the table was not cleared out yet, which would not have been a problem, but since the rest of the night was not what we expected, this does matter in the overall experience. We choose the 13 course service and ordered cocktails. It took 40mins from when we sat at our table untill we got our first out of five servings. The rest of the service was just as slow, and it took all in all 3 hours from start to finish, even though we told them to bring the dessert fast, since we had other plans that night. The food was alright and the staff nice, but this slow experience left us tired and hungry, and was just not a great way to start you Friday night out.

15/11/2024: I have heard very well. The staff were nice enough, but they seemed a bit pressured. The food was okay but not impressive. People often sat and waited in groups for the food to be served.

27/10/2024: Great experience, the back table next to the wine racks was cozy 🤪👍 Service from start to finish🙏 The food was really good, only the one dessert was disappointing 😢 The owner was very attentive to his guests which is great😇 When you visit the place remember to book a table 😉

01/11/2024: Really cozy place. We got a mix of Uramaki and Kaburi Maki and the fish was so fresh and delicious.

01/11/2024: Great sushi and service! We warmed up with some gyoza and torpedo prawns, followed by a mix. Everything was delicious! But, important, not all places can make good spicy tuna and Sushi Springtime makes it perfectly to my taste. Yum!

11/10/2024: Cafe Albert In the city of Århus near Storcenter Nord The service is good, the staff is nice, the food is delicious 😋 It gives a good experience from the first time to visit the café, with its authenticity and warm atmosphere. I recommend trying it 100%

10/07/2024: The atmosphere of this place was perfect. Such a nice staff and the service was quick and easy! Their nachos were good, but the chicken didn't taste of much. Despite this, it was still good food, and compared to the price, it was good. Not extraordinary in any way, but it was nice. They have a lot of interesting drinks and beers, which we will come back to try. It's definitely a very low-key cafe to visit, but in the best way possible.
