02/06/2025: The food was uninteresting and not proportional to the price. The whole thing seemed uninspired and out of step with what one should expect in 2025. Cold red wine, improperly cooked meat, shrimp from the refrigerated counter and cake that tasted suspiciously like one you'd get from most provincial bakeries and again, cold. The place has performed at a higher level in the past.

21/07/2025: I got number ⑥ Tofu Steak Don with: A. teriyaki sauce + Tokyo Kitchen dressing. It was one of the best things I've ever tasted! Everything in the bowl was super delicious. The tofu was the best tofu I've ever tasted! I can 100% recommend this place :)

19/05/2025: Tried the “popular option no. 1”, became very surprised by the quality of it, and now just want to try the other dishes as well. The place is small and cozy (as most people use it for take-away probably), and the staff was super friendly with us. It went directly to “places to return” part of my restaurant list.

01/06/2025: Today it will be the burger restaurant Søren E - True Taste in Viby J that will have tested their Steak sandwich with sauce. Arrived at the booked table exactly 16.30 and the food was also ordered upfront. The food was served at the table exactly 16.40 and first thought that it looked delicious and appetizing and that there was plenty. The bun was supposed to be a homemade bun with sesame, it is very soft and a little hard to taste as it absorbs all the delicious sauce. The steak is from cattle in Himmerland and weighs 150 grams. The meat tastes fantastic and is seasoned perfectly. It is really flavorful, I might wish that the steak had been fried harder so that it had a thicker crust. Of the pickles we find home-pickled red onions which are very sour but taste great, we also find home-pickled beets which are cut into fine cubes and have a nice bite. In addition, we find raw red onion and homemade roasted onion with some spices that taste good. There is what they call a French yellow mustard that gives strength to the taste and tastes great. There was also a homemade steak sandwich dressing that is probably almost a remoulade substitute, maybe it didn't come into character that much with all the sourness. As a counterbalance to the sourness, there were a lot of cranberries in it and it was well thought out and tasted good. The brown sauce was 250 ml of it, we won't go down on the sauce and it tasted really good, it was nicely seasoned, but it could have been a little warmer. We paid DKK 110 for this bandit and it was worth all the money, it is value for money. Is it among the top of all the steak sandwiches I have eaten in the whole of Denmark, yes it actually does in relation to the price. Are we in the Super League? No, but the top of the 1st division can also be reached when you are up for promotion. We missed some water lilies and a regular homemade remoulade. But here's a clear recommendation: 4.5 out of 5 stars.

11/07/2025: Our first stay was a short stopover in Denmark, and it couldn't have been better. Incredibly friendly service. Such a sweetheart ❤️ and delicious homemade pastries and bread. Thank you 😊

26/06/2025: We had an absolutely wonderful evening at Toni and his fantastic team. The food was just right and the service and presence that you experience as a guest in the restaurant is at an unheard of high level. It is a true gem that we will love to visit many times in the future when we visit Aarhus. I can hardly find words to describe how good an experience it was. The easiest 5 stars for the food, service and atmosphere I have ever given! ⭐ A huge recommendation from here! 🫶

30/06/2025: Friendly staff with a great atmosphere and fast service. The coffee is average. A few baked goods are available. We kept going back while on Holiday. It’s in a great location.
