27/09/2025: We came on a trip from Odense to Aarhus, which is not a city we are very familiar with. On the way we found a random café along the river. The atmosphere was cozy, while we sat outside and enjoyed the good weather. The food was wonderful: A plate of pasta, salmon and tiger prawns. A nice and delicious lunch to start our first day in Aarhus with.

06/10/2025: One of the best burgers I've ever had. Top burger, top fries and top service from someone with a slightly long and black beard. Top experience. Will definitely come again. The place can be highly recommended.

BUT way too expensive! 👎🏼 Early Bird 17 € which is already way more than other gyms all over Europe charge regularly and nearly 20 € for regular entry. Holds are not super fancy, routsetting is nice but not spectacular and the showers are super old.

25/07/2025: Very good brewery (self-service (you order at the bar) with a large selection of beers. They also have soda (e.g. berry or elderberry flavor). They also serve fresh pizza from the stone oven with various toppings such as potato, mascarpone, rosemary, goat cheese, or ham and pistachio. You can also order fish and chips or a Wiener Schnitzel. The atmosphere is nice; you can sit outside on the terrace with a view of the harbor or inside in the renovated warehouse.

The latte is strong and well-rounded, with perfect foam. I was particularly impressed by the cinnamon roll: warm, fragrant, spiced just right—a small masterpiece. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is relaxed and stylish. I sat in the attic area—a quiet spot with a view of the hustle and bustle of the students playing. Anyone who loves coffee and values ​​quality should definitely stop by here.

09/09/2025: Five stars for Restaurant Havnær! I had booked a table for a very special and important lunch date, which the restaurant welcomed with presence, courtesy and friendliness. The staff were constantly attentive, but in that subtle and professional way where it was never too much. The food was delicious, both visually and in terms of taste, and the help with choosing wine was nuanced and precise. The whole experience exuded a balance between the simple and the exquisite. A huge thank you to the team for creating the framework for a wonderful experience. We will be back!

11/10/2025: Very good food and drinks in a central location. The restrooms were clean and tidy, and the staff was very nice and friendly. Unfortunately a bit expensive, but otherwise highly recommended!

28/09/2025: We were a group of 6 who took a trip from Zealand to Aarhus to visit the restaurant. 2 had experienced the restaurant in Vejle and wanted to share the experience with the rest of us. Here, there is no finger to be put on the host; the laid-back professionalism, interest in the product and great joy in sharing the story: The menu is based on surplus goods. 2 pallets at a time, we were told. Mostly vegetables, and then it is diluted with fish, a little meat and a proper dose of creativity and love for the season, preparation and kitchen technical characteristics. Truly delicious 10 dishes divided into 4 servings. The cocktail menu was invented at home and sits right in the cupboard, incredibly enough for each serving, which consists of 3 separate dishes with a bang on the flavors. Well done!!! Even more incredibly, the wine menu followed skillfully. Each of the 4 wines could not have been chosen better. Competent, professional and value for money all the way around. We look forward to visiting you at Nørreport.

20/09/2025: Super cool concept. Same food for everyone and wine ad libitum as well as beer and water. Was invited by my boyfriend to Det Glade Vanvid in Aarhus, right down by the harbor. Fantastic location 😊 By the way, a really good idea to leave the car at home or at the hotel where we were staying. We started with a small appetizer, bread and dip, a pebkorn dip, was absolutely fantastic. Then the appetizer with some cod, incredibly deliciously prepared. The main course was roast beef with various. Side dishes, dessert delicious cake with sorbet ice cream. Cool experience in itself, they change the menu every month by the way.

13/08/2025: Æblehaven is a cozy place by Brabrand Lake with ordering at the kiosk. There are tables and benches outdoors on a large grassy area with a view of the lake. There is the opportunity to pet goats in an enclosure. There were two of us and we had a nice big cup of coffee and cookies. The coffee was served in beautiful ceramic mugs, since it was not to-go. Even clearing out the dishes in the cupboards.

12/07/2025: Det er en fornøjelse at besøge Moccacity. Ulla er den sødeste vært og kaffen og kagerne er af høj kvalitet. Derudover er det dejlig fredeligt i forhold til mange andre caféer.
