09/09/2025: Five stars for Restaurant Havnær! I had booked a table for a very special and important lunch date, which the restaurant welcomed with presence, courtesy and friendliness. The staff were constantly attentive, but in that subtle and professional way where it was never too much. The food was delicious, both visually and in terms of taste, and the help with choosing wine was nuanced and precise. The whole experience exuded a balance between the simple and the exquisite. A huge thank you to the team for creating the framework for a wonderful experience. We will be back!

11/12/2025: We visited the forest mill with our 1 year old son, and it was all in all a great experience. We were greeted by friendly staff and great hospitality in a beautiful setting in the middle of nature. The food was super delicious, although a bit on the high side in terms of price, and not the largest portions.

11/10/2025: Very good food and drinks in a central location. The restrooms were clean and tidy, and the staff was very nice and friendly. Unfortunately a bit expensive, but otherwise highly recommended!

28/09/2025: We were a group of 6 who took a trip from Zealand to Aarhus to visit the restaurant. 2 had experienced the restaurant in Vejle and wanted to share the experience with the rest of us. Here, there is no finger to be put on the host; the laid-back professionalism, interest in the product and great joy in sharing the story: The menu is based on surplus goods. 2 pallets at a time, we were told. Mostly vegetables, and then it is diluted with fish, a little meat and a proper dose of creativity and love for the season, preparation and kitchen technical characteristics. Truly delicious 10 dishes divided into 4 servings. The cocktail menu was invented at home and sits right in the cupboard, incredibly enough for each serving, which consists of 3 separate dishes with a bang on the flavors. Well done!!! Even more incredibly, the wine menu followed skillfully. Each of the 4 wines could not have been chosen better. Competent, professional and value for money all the way around. We look forward to visiting you at Nørreport.

02/10/2025: Today I bought the worst artisan bread I've had in a long time, they were almost like rusks. They had a 1 1/2cm thick, very chewy crust and had just been in the oven a little too long😖I generally thought that the quality fluctuates a lot, especially at those prices, so it should be okay.

18/09/2025: The bread rolls and højsnegle (sandwich bread) are highly recommended. I cycled there every morning from the campsite because the food was so delicious and fresh.

29/11/2025: We visited Café Faust and ordered brunch three times. Unfortunately, the food was quite boring and without much flavor. The smoothie that came with it tasted mostly like baby food. The staff was both fast and friendly, and the service was good. All in all, an average experience.

11/12/2025: Restaurant Flammen deserves 5 stars for a really strong overall experience, especially if you love buffets with lots of meat and a cozy atmosphere in a relaxed setting. Food and buffet: The buffet is impressively large with at least 15 different types of meat on the grill, supplemented by a wide selection of hot dishes and a salad bar with around 50 varieties. The quality is consistently high for this type of concept. Atmosphere and decor: The restaurants are decorated cozy with dim lighting and a relaxed atmosphere, which works well for family fun, friends' evenings and larger parties. Service: The staff is smiling, welcoming and attentive, even when it's busy. There was one in particular who was quick to find a suitable spoon for the potato soup, which I chose to start with. Used plates are usually cleared quickly. Overall, Flammen is an obvious choice for those who prioritize a large selection, lots of meat and a cozy atmosphere - clearly 5 stars from here.

10/12/2025: Good food place. Both restaurant and takeaway. July 25. We were 6 people for a birthday dinner. We all got the good Buffet. We had a student with us and she got a free glass of bubbles. Which was a nice gesture. The waiter, a young blonde woman, was really sweet and attentive. Feb 25. This time I ordered takeaway. It turned out to be a Ribs n' Roast, 2 people for about 450 kr. I ordered an extra fritter. We chose cream potatoes, fritters, whiskey sauce and some dressing. There were 4 of us, but a pescetarian. But there was enough meat and potatoes to fill everyone. I had made a pasta salad at home, since Flammens pasta salad is not without meat/bacon. It would be nice if you could order a small pasta salad or regular salad for your box, for example, for 30 kr. Like the fritters. The legs were fantastic today, the meat fell completely off the bone. The roast itself was really good and the meat was perfect, although there were a few tendons in it. 16/10/2025: Very delicious food and good prices but your interior is a mess. Tables, chairs and a shelf to eat on while looking into a wall and a long strange table. There is space in the middle for a lot of tables. The other one in MP Bruuns gade is so cozy. It needs a make-over

09/10/2025: Quite good but unfortunately not the most culinary experience. The cucumber salad was in no way worth the money.

13/12/2025: Be prepared to have your stomach filled to the top, because the main course portions here are huge, and also tasty! Otherwise, we wouldn’t have finished our plates, because we ordered the fresh rolls as a starter, which were also delicious: very soft on the outside and decently crunchy on the inside.
