12/03/2025: A bit against custom, a burger will be tested today instead of a steak sandwich, as it cannot be picked up in the Herning Centre. It then became café Karma to be tested. Arrived at 13.02 and was immediately shown to a table in the packed cafe. Ordered the house burger from the nice young lady at 13.08 and the food was served at the table at 13.24. My first thought when serving was that the plate looked a bit messy and boring. The burger is served in a ciabatta bread and it is nice and big, the dear bread, the top is nice and crispy and the bottom is super soft, the crispy part was ok and the soft bottom part didn't matter. Both upper and lower parts are smeared with a fine-tasting garlic mayonnaise that just bites without being too much. There is a bit of iceberg lettuce, some red and green peppers as well as red onions and cherry tomatoes. The red onions are very coarsely cut and there were 2 thick end pieces which were not tasty, also the peppers were cut very coarsely, in my opinion it was just quick enough to get the greens cut, but it was there and there was plenty of it. There was a large slice of bacon which tasted great, but perhaps the most important thing was that the steak of approx. 200-225 g of minced beef tasted quite outstanding and was seasoned with a fine amount of salt and pepper. You could really taste the flame grilling. The steak was well done as recommended by the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration and I would like it pink or medium, but despite the roasting it was really good and the cheddar cheese was also on top. A gedint café meal for DKK 139, which also includes potato wedges with dressing, which were good. 2.5 stars out of 5 as some love is missing, but you get full.

05/03/2025: We stand waiting for a long time to get a table because a waiter with dark page hair is more busy clearing a table, even though she had seen us several times, that's one thing, but When she finally comes, she rolls her eyes all the way to us and has a very negative attitude. Her attitude continues as she shows us to our table. She snarls when ordering and almost knocks our water and glasses down on the table. Overheard her swearing by a non-Danish speaking guest. Very rude and definitely not an attitude you have towards your customers.

19/10/2024: The staff are confused, there is ALWAYS a queue and dissatisfied customers in the store, you have to keep an eye on the amount yourself, otherwise you will be cheated. I will NOT go there again!

16/08/2024: Atmosphere is what it should be and the DJ did greatest job! Would definitely recommend coming! I assume it was VIZZY on the decks last night

13/03/2025: A thoroughly awful place. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, but everything else is fine. The prices are astronomical and the portions small and sloppily prepared. You must be thoroughly brainwashed on DR to like this place.

08/03/2025: "We visited the restaurant for the first time - a place where pictures and 'teddies' add charm. Unfortunately, we were given a table by a shelf with glasses and cutlery, which was not very cozy. When I spoke to the waitress I was interrupted and felt served in an arrogant manner. We had used a Christmas calendar gate and ordered drinks - maybe that's why this kind of service...? However, the other staff seemed nice and smiling, which lifted the experience a bit."

24/02/2025: We ordered a homemade pita bread. It was damn delicious. 5 stars - us from Zealand

20/02/2025: Arrived approx. 11.45 and looked carefully at the menu card because I wanted something fresh with lots of greens. We both came across number 59a named on the go sandwich consisting of, according to the menu card: bread, kebab, salad, tomato, cucumber, red onion, scallions, red cabbage, corn, cornichons and arugula salad. We were looking forward to it. What was served was freshly baked bread with a kebab which tasted great, then there was iceberg salad, a little arugula salad, red pepper, tomatoes, cucumber and we were asked if we wanted some feta in it. Yes, thank you. But that does not change the fact that we have been served something completely different from what we ordered. Where are the red cabbage, corn, scallions, red onions and cornichons????. It's not okay. What was served tasted quite nice and fresh, but still not what we had ordered and were looking forward to, so 2 stars. Disappointing.

28/02/2025: Very nice and inspiring place. The old Herning High School is in excellent condition. Nice food. Good arrangements.

24/02/2025: An interesting hotel. It is a kind of very well-kept hostel with more than correct facilities. The beds are comfortable, they have free parking and chargers for electric vehicles. Proper breakfast. To improve communications with guests. All communications with Danès. It would be nice to have information in English. The common areas are very good. Table football, piano, fireplace area, library... Highly recommended.

20/02/2025: Ordered 2 BIG hot cocoas with whipped cream. Started by getting 2 medium which we complained about. Was then obviously poured into a large cup and a new portion of whipped cream.... Way too much whipped cream and way too much straight happy attitude...
