03/09/2025: Since the new owner has taken over the coffee cart, the food has become cheaper and much better and people have started coming back again, a really nice place 😃

29/11/2025: Very disappointing. The food was cold, I suspect it came from the fridge. No signs by the food so you don't know what you're getting. Poor lighting by the food, but very bright and not at all cozy lighting at the table. The restaurant is divided into two, where one place feels like sitting in a warehouse, or a bit in the kitchen\take away. Booked a table in advance, asked to be seated somewhere else but it was not granted. No service at the table, no refilling of water, all used service is still here 1.5 hours later. Does not live up to the price under any circumstances.

21/02/2026: Thank you very much, we got 20 pizzas delivered to MCH on time, all hot and delicious. We will be back next time there is a Holiday Fair.

23/12/2025: Ordered food 12.40 and the food was ready 12.59. Really nice base, lovely crispy and flavorful. Homemade tomato sauce which is also really flavorful. It is absolutely not stingy with the filling, which is abundant, so good hangover pizza. OK pizza which can easily slide down, not the best but tried much worse so we will gladly come again. DKK 90 + 5 for dressing. That's fair. Thanks for the food

25/10/2025: There was a lot of noise, the food came quickly even though it was busy we waited for about 25 minutes for the food to arrive. The prices are reasonable in relation to the amount of food you got and the quality of the food was adequate. But unfortunately there is a lack of privacy we could not look around without someone sitting right behind us.

23/07/2025: Definitely not a place we will come back to, we felt like we were in trouble. The menu card was slammed on the table where we were standing. Shortly after, another waiter came and asked if we were ready, not quite ☺️ we found a table ourselves and sat down. We called the first waiter who came through the door, but it wasn't her table, apparently not the other waiter's either. He chose to pass us 3 times without seeing us. After 15 minutes we left our table and found another restaurant.

07/11/2025: I visited Garibaldi a few times during my stay in Herning and always enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, old-style slow music, and their delicious homemade ice cream brownies. Unfortunately, my last visit was a real disappointment due to the poor attitude of one of the waiters. I was quietly sitting with my laptop at a small two-person table (which was free when I arrived), and after more than an hour, the waiter came over and rather abruptly told me that the table was “booked.” This was quite surprising, as the lounge was almost empty at the time. His tone and manner were disrespectful, and he offered no proper explanation. Even though I was only having a hot drink, I was still a customer and expected to be treated with basic courtesy, something I’ve never seen lacking in any other place I’ve visited around the world. On previous visits, two lovely young ladies served me and truly understood the meaning of hospitality. It’s a shame that my last visit before leaving the country was ruined by one staff member’s unprofessional attitude. Overall, Garibaldi is a nice place with a good vibe and great desserts, but the level of customer service is inconsistent and definitely needs improvement.

30/11/2025: We came 8 ladies from Funen and arrived on Friday, we could only get a burger at the hotel on Friday, but the sweet waiter Rasmus conjured up a cheese board, for us on Saturday there was a Christmas lunch, with entertainment, we were again served by Rasmus, who was fast and VERY service minded and very fun despite the busyness. THANK YOU from the 8 ladies

13/08/2025: We were just there. They had pizza and fries. Both were amazing. The fries were fresh and perfectly cut. Well salted. The pizza dough was homemade. The crust was super thin and crispy. Despite the generous toppings, the crust held its shape. If our next vacation in Denmark brings us near here, we'll definitely come back for pizza.

21/11/2025: Just had an overnight stay with my husband and can highly recommend the hotel. Good service and nice staff, especially "The Girl with the Pavement" was a really uplifting moment☺. Would love to come again

15/03/2025: When I took the first bite of my sandwich I remembered when I bought a sandwich before and decided I didn't want to do that again. What forgot this. So I was disappointed again. But there aren't many options in Lind. Clearly the sandwich was dry and rough in the bun! Bought it at 13:00

13/09/2025: I was in Herning for six days for EiroSkills 2025. We all really enjoyed the Marsnello pizzeria. Whether it was a regular pizza or a family pizza for five people, it was super delicious. Great ingredients. I don't know if or when I'll be back in Denmark, but I will always remember this pizzeria fondly. Thank you for the wonderful time with you.

22/11/2025: Really good sushi. The selection wasn't the biggest I've ever had, but I didn't miss anything, and it tasted so good. What was supposed to be hot was hot, which was delicious, and it all seemed freshly made. They had Melona popsicles for dessert, which was super delicious and different from other Asian restaurants' desserts. The staff spoke English, but that wasn't a problem, and they were nice and smiling. I can only recommend the place, and will definitely eat here when I have to eat sushi in Herning. I'm already really looking forward to my next visit 😊

18/11/2025: Fantastic restaurant experience in Herning!!!! The food is really delicious and very Instagram-friendly 😉. The dishes are arranged in a way that makes it easy and inviting to eat sushi. When you are seated, the staff asks if you have been there before, and if not, you get a nice introduction to the concept. The staff is international, many of them students, but two of the female waiters speak Danish. It is not quite perfect yet, but they make a great effort, and it was nice to be able to speak Danish with them. Both were very welcoming, fast and generally super nice. They also ask about allergies and know the menu by heart, which gives the impression that they take the guests' needs very seriously. The restaurant is cozy and relatively small. It can get a little noisy when it is full, but you can always request a specific table when making a reservation, and they really try to accommodate that. The order is made via tablets, where you can tap on the pictures to see ingredients and allergens, really user-friendly. The food also came quickly. We ordered wine, which was served with free water that you can refill yourself, and we also tried a Japanese soda. We ate everything we could, and almost no leftovers, because everything tasted amazing. The fish was very fresh, the waiter mentioned that the chefs cut fish every day, and you can taste it. After the meal there was coffee, cake and ice cream. The restaurant is very clean, and the same goes for the toilets. They can be a bit cold in winter, but that is quickly over, and the restaurant itself is pleasantly warm. A little extra detail made the experience even better: the waiter told us that the wine bottle she was serving from was almost empty, and instead of throwing the leftovers out, she gave us an extra top-up in the glasses. A small gesture, but really appreciated. All in all, an excellent experience, both the food and the service were top notch. I doubt that any other ad libitum restaurant in Herning can match them. Highly recommended!

30/09/2025: Usually a lemon pie is a delight for the palate, BUT NOT the version I bought here and for several reasons: The filling that otherwise tastes fresh of lemon had just a “dish” taste The crispy thin base was replaced by a thick, soft and floury base And the sweet creamy meringue that otherwise goes well with the lemon flavor, was not stirred enough, which meant that it was crunchy and full of untouched sugar So completely inedible However, it may be that I was just unlucky that I chose this cake - one must hope so

07/12/2025: Piano Bar in Herning is a really nice and cozy place with great facilities and a fantastically sweet staff who always greet you with a smile and helpfulness even if they don't always speak Danish. That's part of what makes the place so pleasant to visit. Unfortunately, my friends and I have experienced several times that the owner greets us with a negative attitude. The last episode was the last straw, we were asked to move to make room for a smaller group than us, which we did completely peacefully and graciously. Shortly after, we were asked to leave the place without explanation. This meant that we had to leave both the beer towers and shots that we had already paid for. It wasn't the first time we had an unpleasant experience with the owner, and overall it has meant that we have now had enough of the place. It's a real shame, because the bar and the staff have so much to offer, but repeated negative encounters with the owner have ruined the desire to come back.
