09/06/2025: Perfect place for a short stay in Herning, near to Herning centret, and Bilka. Minimalistic design and furniture, lots of parking spaces.

13/06/2025: The staff is fantastic and so lovely. They are present and attentive, and at the same time make sure to have a good laugh if they can sense that the guests are in on it.

30/05/2025: We were there to celebrate my daughter's 4th birthday on May 24th. We have 5 people. My daughter wanted lasagna, which she got, but it was tasteless and very watery. I ordered a Pasta carbonara, the pasta was ordinary spaghetti, but very undercooked, and tasted only of pepper. And was also completely black from pepper, and lacked a lot of salt, for me it was completely inedible and I therefore left it and basically did not touch it. My husband found 2 hairs in his pizza. Something that looked like a beard. At first hair he thought it could have been his own. But on one of the last bites he found another one, just under some of the filling. An employee in the kitchen had a long full beard that was not wrapped. Apart from that, both pizzas tasted good. The staff were nice. But they were going back and forth all the time, like flies around shit. But not at any point did they contact us. All in all, we are disappointed.

18/03/2025: The surroundings are good, the atmosphere is nice and it is a nice place. But the food is boring. Considering the price of the experience, the buffet is far too narrow and monotonous. Not that it should be compared to traditional buffets - But at Bryggeriet, the buffet is just "boring". Conversely, the concept is good and good wines are served. But since it's the food you come for, it's an unfortunate experience. But why is it so narrow and monotonous? Yes, it is narrow because the selection of dishes. For example, potatoes and meat are served without any sauce. Two salads are served (A simple one consisting of heart salad, pomegranate and cranberry - Tastes fine, but is primarily just salad. No dressing is offered for this) in addition (A red scallion salad, which mostly tastes of cheese / heavy cream - Not very appetizing). In addition, the buffet primarily consists of crisp bread, pesto, onions, olives and other small items. The meat tastes good, but seems very similar. Here the duck was quite dry - the pig and the chicken tasted unremarkable. But at that price point and with the understanding you have of the concept, either beef, veal or lamb should also be served here. So all in all - So the framework is there. They just need to be filled in as expected. Ice cream and dessert were delicious - Some carved fruits (e.g. Melon) would be able to elevate the dessert even more. Will we come again? Hardly with the current buffet, given the price. But should the selection be improved / reassessed, we will gladly try it again.

13/03/2025: Fantastic place with the most wonderful atmosphere and fantastic staff. The whole concept of the food and drinks is superb and the quality is top notch. Their home-brewed beer and ale are super quality and delicious. The place can only be highly recommended.👍

25/09/2024: Wow, it's a fantastic place, decorated really creatively and colorfully. The staff were so nice and smiling...and we got our food quickly. and the food!, the food was in a class of its own, super tasty, beautifully decorated and at a reasonable price! At least it won't be the last time I eat there!… note: They only serve vegetarian food...

29/03/2025: Lovely shop selling beautiful gift boxes with wine, chocolate, spices and other delicacies. They also sell good old-fashioned waffle ice cream, homemade chocolate. AND as a bonus a café that makes delicious small dishes that can be enjoyed in the back of the room or out in the sun in front.

23/07/2025: The food was good. I had a shooting star and my girlfriend had a Lene Dyrby burger. The steak in the burger was over salted and you couldn't really taste the bearnaise mayo in the burger. Our waitress didn't have much of a voice, she spoke very softly and it was hard to understand her. Unfortunately, there were quite a few wasps inside where we sat and it put a damper on the atmosphere a bit, and there were quite a few cobwebs in the windows. The cleaning could do with a bit of a refresh.

23/07/2025: Definitely not a place we will come back to, we felt like we were in trouble. The menu card was slammed on the table where we were standing. Shortly after, another waiter came and asked if we were ready, not quite ☺️ we found a table ourselves and sat down. We called the first waiter who came through the door, but it wasn't her table, apparently not the other waiter's either. He chose to pass us 3 times without seeing us. After 15 minutes we left our table and found another restaurant.

09/06/2025: Must try. ! We can only recommend the place, and especially their tomato soup with whipped cream is an experience in itself..

18/04/2025: Went for Easter lunch with a group of friends. The food, and the selection thereof, was delicious and tasty. Staff polite and attentive. BUT you book way too many people in FOR A BUFFET. It ruins the experience when there is a buffet queue from one end of the room to the other, much of the time.

17/04/2025: Today, it has become Resturant Kuplen in Herning to have tested their steak sandwich with sauce. We arrived exactly at 11.15, were nicely and politely shown to a table with a nice view. After that, exactly 16 minutes passed before we were allowed to order, they were a bit pressed with some company. But the order was placed at 11.31 and immediately we could hear the kitchen start to sizzle. The food was served exactly at 11.47 and my first thought was that it looked a little small and the sauce definitely did not look like a brown sauce. The bun is a standard brioche bun which is finely toasted and tastes as it should. The steak is super delicious and almost perfect, it has a super delicious roast crust and is perfectly pink fried, it tastes wonderful and is seasoned appropriately with salt and pepper. In terms of quantity, I think the steak is 180 grams. Lovely and delicious. Beetroots taste suspicious of our friends from Beauvais, whereas the pickled cucumbers are definitely home-pickled and taste wonderful and sour. In addition, there are raw red onions, pre-made roasted onions as well as ketchup mustard and remoulade. The sauce is not what I would call a brown sauce, it was a pepper sauce, it tasted great and with strong elements of pepper flavor without it tipping over. I thought the sauce tasted great even though it was lukewarm and there was far too little of it. Now remember steak sandwiches with lots of sauce. It costs DKK. 110.- you can also get french fries for plus DKK. 20.- I thought the price was really strong, the food is also delicious, but it's such a shame that you don't go all in with making all the ingredients homemade, there is so much potential. We would love to come again for delicious food at a very good price. Gets 3.5 out of 5 stars as more homemade ingredients are missing.

24/06/2025: Eating at Brdr. Price in Herning is a bit like being invited to the home of someone with good taste and plenty of butter in the kitchen. Here the atmosphere is calm, the food is well-prepared and the service... yes, it's actually so good that you consider tipping without nervously leaning on the Dankort. The food is classic Danish-French with a twist - not something that tries to reinvent the wheel, but on the other hand it runs without any hiccups. Smørrebrød, steak béarnaise, desserts with names you barely dare pronounce - it's all as it should be. Tasteful, well-prepared and with the kind of details that make you feel a little more civilized than you actually are. The place is cozy in that "I could live here if someone paid for it" kind of way. You sit comfortably, you don't get squeezed, and there's the kind of lighting that makes everyone at the table look just that bit more relaxed and nice. The price is on the high side, but you also get quality and experience for your money. It's not every day that you get food that both tastes good and feels like someone actually thought about it. All in all: A warm recommendation – especially if you want to eat well, drink something nice and still feel like you've been in good company, without it getting boring.
