31/10/2025: We were 14 friends who had booked a table. We waited a whole hour for our food. 5 of us ordered draft beer, but at best we got a mixture of it and canned beer (we saw it being mixed at the bar) but unfortunately we have no other tangible evidence than our taste buds that these were the beers we were served. Several of us were given the wrong food in the first place. One of my friends also found a piece of plastic in her food, which she managed to chew on - but fortunately not eat or break her teeth on. Her food was also completely cold, and she only ate less than half, after which she handed over her plate with the agreement that they would heat up the remaining food so that she could have it again. However, that never happened. Still, she was charged half the price. In such cases, and with the thought of an imminent danger of being reported to the Danish Food Authority due to the plastic, it is highly reprehensible that one does not manage to save the situation with good service. Because that's almost the worst. Fortunately, several of my friends think the food was tasty, but when the service and management are of such poor quality, the dining experience quickly fades into the background. The waiter generally seemed stressed, grumpy and tired of her job. She failed to seize the opportunity to compensate for the boring experience through discounts, vouchers - or at least general politeness and friendliness. We are very disappointed and simply want to warn others against a similar experience by writing this review, as a friendly criticism directed at the restaurant itself, as described above, was unfortunately not taken seriously.

17/10/2025: We ate a group of 20 there on the first Saturday in October. We had ordered food in advance. They were there when we arrived. We got drinks and then delicious freshly baked bread with cheese was brought to the table, we got a generous amount of it. The food was a bit large portions but the quality was high. It was well prepared. It's not gourmet, but it's decent and honest.

15/08/2025: We are deeply disappointed with the room where we held a big event. Food and drinks were fine, but the room in the back was extremely hot. Radiator on full blast on a summer evening. The staff said, we know that…… Such bad style. Ugh ugh ugh. Total sour smiley.

16/07/2025: Delicious and healthy food – I've eaten rice with vegetables and shrimp.

24/08/2025: The pizzas were completely burnt around the edges, so much had to be cut off.

18/05/2025: We had eight pizzas and a salad delivered to our holiday home outside of Herning (12 km away) during the Ice Hockey World Championship. The prices were very fair, and the staff was very friendly (both on the phone and the driver). The pizza and salad were delicious and still warm upon delivery.

07/12/2025: I have to warn other customers about Kylling & Co's deliberately misleading pricing, especially on platforms like Wolt. Their "Bowl Menu" is a trap. Here's the math: "Bowl Menu" price: DKK 124.00 Price for the same items purchased individually: Kitchen Bowl: DKK 89.00 Pepsi: DKK 32.50 Total: DKK 121.50 As you can see, they are penalizing you with an additional price of DKK 2.50 for choosing their "menu". This is not a mistake. Months ago the price was the same, which in itself was misleading. Now they have deliberately made the menu more expensive. This is a dishonest and deeply unprofessional business practice that exploits customers' trust. The food is irrelevant when the business is built on cheating its customers. I will never shop here again and would advise everyone to check their bill carefully, or better yet, find somewhere else to eat. One star for deliberately misleading your customers

26/10/2025: We ordered dinner for delivery. A rice/beef bowl was ordered without jalapeños. There were jalapeños in it, and some so small you couldn't immediately peel them off. A rice/regular chicken bowl contained pieces of crispy chicken, which due to wheat allergy would have resulted in hours of stomach upset if eaten. The fries were completely cold. Delivery was set for 6:15 PM, but the food showed up at 6:55 PM. It's a real shame they don't have their things under control, because the food is actually delicious enough.

16/04/2025: I bought a log, it was very hard and the texture and taste was like the snoffles from Bisca.

08/08/2025: Company for brunch. Cold food, tough overcooked meat, bacon burnt, flute dry. Fruit platter was a little pineapple around the cheese. Had to go to the kitchen several times to get refills. Only place that can ruin a whole milk calf - could neither recognize the meat by taste nor smell. Could not chew. Cakes frozen inside, bleeding chocolate cake was baked into a lump that crumbled and the liquid chocolate was a grainy mass. Service was not present. One man on duty despite two large companies.

17/04/2025: Today it was Restaurant Kuplen in Herning that got to test their steak sandwich with gravy. We arrived exactly at 11.15, were nicely and politely shown to a table with a great view. Then it was exactly 16 minutes before we were allowed to order, they were a bit pressed for time with some company. But the order was placed at 11.31 and immediately we could hear the kitchen starting to sizzle. The food was served exactly at 11.47 and our first thought was that it looked a bit small and the sauce definitely didn't look like a brown sauce. The bun is a standard brioche bun that is nicely toasted and tastes as it should. The steak is super delicious and almost perfect, it has a super delicious roast crust and is perfectly pink fried, it tastes wonderful and seasoned with salt and pepper. In terms of quantity, I would think the steak is 180 grams. Delicious and delicious. The beetroot tastes unrecognizable from our friends from Beauvais, whereas the pickled cucumbers are definitely home-pickled and taste wonderful and sour. In addition, there are raw red onions, prefabricated roasted onions, as well as ketchup, mustard and remoulade. The sauce is not what I would call a brown sauce, it was a pepper sauce, it tasted great and with strong elements of pepper flavor without it tipping over. I thought the sauce tasted great even though it was lukewarm and there was far too little of it. Remember now a steak sandwich equals lots of sauce. It costs DKK 110.- you can also get fries with it for an extra DKK 20.- I thought the price was really strong, the food is also delicious but it's such a shame that they don't go all in with making all the ingredients homemade, there is so much potential. We will be back for delicious food at a very good price. Gets 3.5 out of 5 stars as more homemade ingredients are missing.
