29/06/2025: Incredibly nice selection of beers, I was super positively surprised by how many beers they had on their "menu card". Big praise for the large selection! And well done that the place has received the Beer Enthusiasts' beer label. However, it really detracts from my experience that you can smoke inside the place. If smoking was not allowed inside, this place would have gotten the last two stars.

20/05/2025: The place does not live up to the expectation that customer service is okay. They can do better by ensuring that the employees can act professionally and: - Smile at all customers, and especially if the customer smiles at them. - Accept both criticism and praise that is given in a proper way. - Enter into a dialogue with the customers and be able to de-escalate a possible conflict, and not escalate it. - Have a sober and legitimate reason to ask a customer to leave the place. (which "I don't want to stare at your face" is definitely not.) - Intervene when a drunk colleague, as a customer at the place, gets involved in a conflict between the place and another customer, which the latter has not been a part of. Unfortunately, the owners/management do not provide for the above, and are 100% sure that these are not skills that their employees should possess.

01/06/2025: I have rarely experienced anything as disgusting as my visit to Sunset Boulevard. While the Italian burger tasted pretty good, the place's poor cleaning standards ruined everything. The place reeked of old frying oil, and the smell lingered on my clothes long after I left. The windows were greasy and dirty, as if they hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The worst part was the floor, which was so dirty and disgusting that it looked like it hadn't been washed in months. You completely lose your appetite in an environment like that. It's downright disrespectful to the customers. I will never go back and I would advise anyone else not to set foot there.

22/05/2025: Their fries are very tasty, delicious and hot. The burger was a bit flatter and lukewarm but tasted okay. Fast service.

11/05/2025: Can't understand they don't have sausage that is roasted at 18.00 it is the second time in a row. Have to leave with a long nose. Asked when to come because there was someone? The answer was that we often don't have it in the evening.🙈

17/03/2025: Today it is Café Perlen in Holstebro that will have tested their steak sandwich with sauce. Arrived 12.02 to the modern hot dog/burger bar which is centrally located in the city close to the railway station and everything is nice and clean and modern. Ordered immediately and the food was served exactly at 12.15. My first thought was that it was a nice portion that looked nice on the plate and you could see everything was piping hot. The bun is a delicious burger bun that is a bit like a brioche bun, but isn't it, the bun is deliciously soft on top and bottom, but cut across and toasted hard in the middle, it's really delicious. The steak is a story in itself, it is large and maybe 150-175 grams, it is made from fresh meat and was fried while I could watch. So it's just delicious to finally find a place that roasts the meat while the customer is there, because it gives a fresh and delicious taste and the meat is really tasty and with a structure that it was well-done where I would like Rosa to live with. Otherwise, we have to deal with a standard barbecue structure with ketchup, remoulade and mustard which is prefabricated and maybe there was a little too much mustard in the bite a little too much, I found raw onions and roasted onions fine-tuned in terms of quantity. Of the pickled items, there were pickled cucumbers which tasted superb, clearly they were freshly home-pickled and they were fairly thick so in addition to the lovely sourness there was a nice crunch in every bite, I don't think the pickled beetroots were home-pickled, they definitely reminded me significantly of our friends from Beauvais, but maybe I was wrong. The sauce and it was a sauce tasted great and there was a nice bite to it, in terms of quantity it was ok, now I'm a sauce pig so a little is never enough. All in all, a really good experience and in the hot dog / barbecue category, the bar was really really good. Delicious steak and gravy. If you were to upgrade it a bit, you could spread the top and bottom buns with a mild mustard glaze and add soft onions and more distinctive home-pickled beetroot. But DKK 85.- for this bandit YES THANK YOU, who is picky for a part of such a clear recommendation and will gladly come again. 3.5 stars out of 5.-

28/06/2025: En tynd omgang øl. Øllet var dovn. Igen. Trejde gang jeg oplever det. Bordet var ikke ryddet. Bordenden ikke tørret af. Selv om ejeren selv var til stede i lokalet. Dog ikke bag baren. Men som " gæst" Eller hvad man kalder det. Huset er meget nedslidt. Der var ellers en god stemning og hygge engang.

29/05/2025: After waiting 30 minutes for a beer that never came i just gave up, only one person tending the bar at the pub and the pub was almost fully crowded, not coming back again

21/04/2025: Nice restaurant and nice food. Staff was friendly translating the menu and answering the questions. Food was good, and since the restaurant was empty the service was quick and good. Fancy atmosphere. Well located. English menu not available.

15/04/2025: Et kig på byens restauranters hjemmesider afslører hurtigt, at Holstebro bestemt ikke ser ud til at være Danmarks smørrebrødsby nr. 1. Et besøg på den bedst anmeldte - EKTE - overbeviser endeligt en om, at den BESTEMT ikke er nr. 1 - tværtimod. Smørrebrødet er egentligt ganske udmærket, men oplevelsen bliver alligevel temmelig halvsløj: En tjener, som absolut ikke "er på" bænkede os ved et bord, som ikke var blevet gjort ordentligt rent og maden blev serveret med en "her!" attitude. Ærgerligt at der ikke bliver lagt mere sjæl i betjeningen, for dette flotte sted i en klassisk bygning har absolut potentiale til noget andet.

23/05/2025: God betjening og service. Dejligt at de igen tilbyder restaurant service efter flere år kun med takeaway. Maden var frisk, smagte godt og der var rigeligt ( tapas en var nok til to☺️) God vin til rimelig pris.

08/05/2025: Unfortunately, he makes good ice cream, but he is simply so clumsy. I ask what one of the ice creams tastes like, as I'm not used to using algae in ice cream. Then he asks if I can't read and if I'm not Danish? So, quite honestly. Talk nicely though.

30/06/2025: They did their best, but I'm still really unhappy! I was asked to read the receipt when I was supposed to pick up the food because the woman couldn't read what it said herself. I went out with the food, but had to return it because I had been given rice instead of noodles. I got it exchanged, but she made it sound like it was my own fault because I had to read it to her. I get out in the car and want to eat my sushi in the car. I had maki with surimi instead of shrimp and had nigiri with shrimp instead of grilled salmon... fine, I didn't want to go back in to get it fixed. So I drove home. I want to eat my duck with noodles, vegetables and my purchased sweet and sour sauce. It looked like the sweet and sour sauce was with the duck... But there was no sweet and sour sauce either. It's quite expensive to spend 337 kr on something I didn't really want... I'm not going to eat my duck, noodles and vegetables without the sweet and sour sauce. Huge waste of money and food...

29/05/2025: Pizza has no taste no salt in it. Netto's frozen pizza snag much better than that. Thanks for nothing

14/07/2025: Worn and tired facade. Weeds in front of the store. Not inviting. Simple store, but ok. Should have had 2 buttered rolls. Super sad that the friendly baker chooses to butter our rolls with almost liquid room-temperature butter. Put butter in the refrigerator or in a cool box.

05/07/2025: Went in to buy 3 different cakes. They were dry, like they were from the day before. I think it was a lot of money for something that didn't taste good. !

15/07/2025: The quality and cleanliness here are at the highest level, just like everything in Denmark. Dining at this McDonald's in Holstebro is a great experience. The staff is friendly, and the service is efficient. You can always expect a clean and well-maintained environment, making it a perfect spot for a quick meal. Highly recommended!

29/04/2025: En dårlig oplevelse. Utroværdig servitrice. Har været medlem af klub Jensen men er blevet slettet af Jensen. Servitricen sagde at ikk var noget problem at få maden til medlemspris. Da jeg skulle betale kunne hun ikke hjælpe . Hun var meget uforstående. Jeg betalte fuld pris. Jeg kan anbefale stedet og har jeg været der for sidste gang. Hilsen Lisbeth
