14/09/2026: Visited Burger King in Silkeborg today. Arrived at 16.03 and the food was ready 6-8 minutes later. The order was a 2 x whopper menu. Immediately unwrapped the burgers from the paper and noticed that both burgers were cold, meaning the bread was ice cold on both the top and bottom buns. (But the steak was hot) Immediately went up to the young lady at the checkout and said it was not okay, she told the man behind her to make 2 new ones, which he clearly both verbally and body language did not agree with. I was also a little provoked because I do not eat a raw bun, so I politely asked the young lady to put her hand on the product, which she did and she confirmed they were cold and she apologized. After 5 minutes she came with 2 new ones where everything was hot and perfect. Kr.129 for such a double menu with a large whopper, delicious crispy fries and delicious cola. It is a sharp price and the food tasted good. The level of cleanliness in the restaurant is something you have to experience for yourself, because it is low. Tables have not been wiped down, there are old food scraps, the floor is filthy and there are ant bait cans in several places with dead ants all around. But the food is really good for the price. But I am quite surprised that you can make a freshly made burger in ice-cold buns.

27/08/2026: With lengths Silkeborg's best sandwiches. Generally fast delivery, but when it's busy, there can of course be a little wait up to 20-25 minutes. The location means that many young people/school students come. Especially when they have breaks at their schools. It can sometimes give an intense atmosphere, which can be intimidating for some.

18/08/2026: During the Regatta bonfire in Silkeborg this past week (week 33 - 2026) we were looking for some lunch, and in our search for something that was supposed to be delicious, but not too heavy 😎 Our choice fell on the sandwich shop called Regatta, and we certainly didn't regret it... Yum, the ones we had chosen were super delicious... Good taste, delicious crispy bread, good dressing and crispy bacon, as well as juicy chicken. There were 5 of us, 2 of whom got light bread and the 3 others ordered coarse/dark. Both types were with super good taste and crispiness. Unfortunately, the choice of the 2 light ones was because the coarse ones were sold out. Too bad that they were already sold out at 2:30 p.m., when they are open for more than 2 hours. Many people in town also very often mean that more people come and shop. Otherwise a lovely experience 🤘 As you can see in the picture, they were also served on plates even though we were sitting out on the sidewalk.

11/10/2025: Wonderful inn, full of atmosphere, history and hospitality. A living museum. The food is absolutely unbeatable. EVERYTHING is homemade, even the rainbow ice cream.

12/09/2026: A really cozy place.. My first time here but definitely not the last... Good coffee and quiet surroundings, a place to relax. A place to meet and talk, some read a book to their child. Some play a game 🎲 2 good colleagues talk over their coffee, even a dog comes by and gets a pat and a scratch behind the ear.. While some quiet music is playing in the background📻 And yes, it is actually as idyllic as it sounds. Thanks for the coffee Bjarne

04/09/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A truly fantastic bakery experience in Denmark! 🥖🇩🇰 The bread and pastries at BRANDT Brød are fresh, handcrafted, and absolutely delicious. I was particularly impressed by the crusty bread and the wide selection of baked goods. Add to that a pleasant atmosphere and friendly service. This is exactly what I imagine a good Danish bakery to be: uncomplicated, high-quality, and made with a lot of love for the product. If you're traveling in Denmark and enjoy good bread and pastries, you should definitely stop by. 19/04/2026: Fantastic concert. Especially after the break they gave it their all. gas. Special Langebro offered both great solos and fantastic battles/showdowns. Impressively skilled wind instruments. Great experience. The only downside was that it was very hot.
