03/11/2025: I had the vegan sandwich and mint lemonade. It was a great value for money, and the bread in particular was really good! I might come back again!

18/10/2025: Denmark's best sandwich - I think. A nice little lunch break, and otherwise they are easy to bring down to the lakes or sit down in the life of the pedestrian street.

21/08/2025: Always delicious and tasty food with high quality. Super good and flexible service. Sandwiches are also delicious. I had a group of Zealanders over for an event, and several said it was some of the best food they had had at similar events.

13/03/2025: We had a fantastically beautiful and tasty tapas dish. Finally a restaurant that understands that tapas is not just cut-off cold cuts. There were several small dishes, salads and tapenades here and everything seemed homemade. The accompanying bread did not quite live up to the rest. I would like to pay a little extra to be able to choose a good coarse sourdough bread instead.

26/08/2025: It was a solid ramen, we had 30 min to spend in the downtown and decided to grab something lite. Food came fast and was tasty.

10/08/2025: Good ramen and very tasty chicken katsu / fried chicken. Delicious food, great service, and reasonably priced. Would recommend!

21/10/2025: Evald is a gem in Silkeborg. If you are going to the Musikteatret, this is the obvious option to start the evening with good food and matching wines

16/09/2025: Super friendly staff. When I called to ask if they could accommodate the food intolerances of my white they said ‘we will take care of that, just come over. We had a lovely fish main course, sitting outside with our dog and were treated so kind. I wish we had restaurants in Belgium with the same attitude towards taking care of their customers with special needs. In Denmark this is more rule than exception.

16/11/2025: Went there for dinner with 3 people, two with birthdays and one with the student discount. We were a little worried about whether the "offer" would be difficult, but good staff ensured order. Overall a surprise to experience such a high level of service, when it's a chain restaurant and "crappy food". A really good experience and big praise to all the ladies of various ages who gave a super experience. Thanks for the food, and we'll be back.

30/11/2025: Good international buffet with soft ice cream and coffee machine

20/11/2025: Rude staff who can't even show you to your table or bother to bring you a menu. The least they could have done would have been a simple apology for the oversight but never do you want that. Find somewhere else, it's not worth the money or your time.

20/11/2025: The food is not what I would call good, it is dry and tasteless and seems a bit sad to me, despite the fact that we ate at the busiest time and got what looked like freshly cooked food. The staff was friendly enough, but again despite a buffet style and lots of waiters at work, it took 5-10 minutes to get drinks served, and it even happened only after direct contact. It is better than the one on Ansvej, where you are almost just an inconvenience to the staff, they don't bother showing you to your table or giving you a menu. The only thing that gets it up to 2 stars is that the price is recoverable, but unless it is impossible, find something with better food and service.

08/11/2025: There was too little space between the tables and we sat, so there was a constant stream of staff and customers pushing and shoving us. There were small children running and playing and screaming. The chefs poured new food on top of the old. The staff was not willing to find us another table even though there were empty tables the whole time we were sitting there. We had booked a table that was supposed to accommodate a disabled person. Very bad experience

01/12/2025: We were a family group of 9 and had a wonderful Christmas buffet. There was a large selection (more than I could eat) and everything tasted so good and was beautifully presented. It is a very cozy and beautiful place and the view certainly does not disappoint. The staff speaks good English which was a relief for the two who had come over from England.
