20/10/2025: I was here this morning during my trip to Denmark, the staff was very kind, the girl who welcomed me helped me and patiently explained everything in English, I will definitely come back again!

15/04/2026: It's a really nice place. Also a popular place. First time we were there and everything was practically booked up. But they had a table we could get if we didn't stay longer than 2 hours, so we jumped at the chance. It was a good decision. Delicious food, great atmosphere. Definitely recommended.

06/04/2026: Really nice and cozy place, the food is really good and the service even better. I didn't think my truffle pasta tasted like enough truffle, which they of course fixed right away. Would definitely recommend.

23/09/2025: We bought their combined cold cuts and cheese plate and a bottle of white wine. It was all really good

16/09/2025: The staff association at my work uses it for various events such as wine tasting and cocktail walks. It works great and creates a good atmosphere. I definitely recommend it.

21/07/2025: Love this place, im moving to viborg and been worried about making friends or finding somewhere i can fit in. This place has been all of that for me.

12/04/2026: The stay at Kongenshus Kro og Hotel was unfortunately a mixed experience. The room appeared very boring, uninspiring and somewhat worn. There were several small things that seemed out of order and overall let it down - including a used cotton swab in the window, two different night lamps, one of which did not work and the other was difficult to turn on behind the bed. The bathroom was designed as a senior-friendly bathroom with a handrail, which is not exactly what you associate with a romantic stay, and the toilet seat was loose. There was no sheet on the box mattress itself (the top mattress was nice and clean, however), which may not be strictly necessary, but it appears out of order. The pillow was also very flat, and the TV did not work. In addition, there was a constant deep hum from a ventilation system right outside the window, which disturbed the peace, and the walls seemed thin, so you could clearly hear the neighbors. Many small details, each of which may be insignificant, but which together give a less good overall impression – things that one could perhaps overlook if it was a very cheap stay. That said, there were also positive aspects. The food was good, and the young serving staff were both friendly and welcoming. The area around the hotel is also really beautiful with lots of peace and beautiful nature. We probably won't be back.

07/06/2025: The ice cream at Okkels is homemade, generally tastes really good – and yes, it looks good on Instagram too 😉 I’ve only been disappointed once… and that was probably mostly because my expectations were as high as the price of a scoop. It’s not the cheapest ice cream in town, but you get quality and taste for your money – and sometimes that’s just what you need on a sunny day (or a grey Tuesday). All in all: A delicious ice cream experience – with a little luxury on top. 🍦

23/04/2026: Viborg's best restaurant, without discussion. The food is top notch, and real Mexican food. There is a wide selection, both starters, main courses and desserts. Cozy place, and very intimate atmosphere. This is my favorite restaurant. They also do take away, and have only positive things to say. The prices are absolutely rock bottom, despite huge portions and good ingredients. Recommend everyone to stop by, it doesn't get any better👍
