10/08/2025: Great spot, I wanted to wind down after a long ride, watch a game and read a book. Walked in, ordered a danish beer, and was able to do exactly that which I came to do (drink a beer and wind down).

12/08/2025: It may not be a Michelin gastronomic experience with foam and crooked angles – but that’s not the point. Honestly, everything was really, really good. The food was tasty, homely and clearly made with care and joy. I was genuinely impressed, and it was one of those experiences where you catch yourself talking about it afterwards – and want to return as soon as possible.
The place itself is super cozy, almost with a fairy tale atmosphere, and it oozes charm. You feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door. The service was friendly, personal and genuinely interested in us having a good experience – and we did!
It all just works really well together – the atmosphere, the service and the food. It’s the kind of place where you can have fun, relax and leave happy and full.
I’m honestly already looking forward to coming back – and I recommend it with great pleasure to anyone who appreciates good food and a good atmosphere in nice surroundings.

23/09/2025: We bought their combined cold cuts and cheese plate and a bottle of white wine.
It was all really good
16/09/2025: The staff association at my work uses it for various events such as wine tasting and cocktail walks. It works great and creates a good atmosphere. I definitely recommend it.

11/09/2025: Even though we had pre-ordered the food, we waited over an hour to get it.
We were not offered free drinks or snacks while we waited, which I have experienced in other places.
The food was good, but it is a shame that you have to sit and wait so long for it.
07/09/2025: We have been happy to visit this café, but when we choose one of their classics and are informed that you can cook the meat medium, we choose it.
As can be clearly seen in the picture, it is far from medium, the waiter informs us that we can have them deducted from the bill or get 2 new steaks. We accept to have them deducted from the bill.
Now the 1 star experience begins, a new waiter Henriette comes a long time later, the food has become cold, and informs us that we do not get the steaks for free, but that we can have them on the pan again, and get a 15% discount on the steaks.
Of course, we want the café to keep their promise that we get them for free, here your waiter then starts to inform loudly that she will then call the police and laugh at us.
I am shocked by the behavior you allow your waiter Henriette to perform on your behalf. I have my wife with me who is sitting and witnessing the whole episode.
Is this really your way of dealing with customers when the chef can't cook the food we order correctly?

07/08/2025: Skøn autentisk mexicansk restaurant med velsmagende mad. Suppleret af mexicansk cola og selvfølgelig husets bedste tequila (den skal prøves)
En torsdag aften trådte vi ind i denne stemningsfulde mexicanske oase, og brugte et par timer med lækker ægte mexikansk mad og skøn stemning, særligt understøttet af stedets tjener (måske ejer). Stedet har eksisteret siden 1998 og har tilsyneladende ikke forandret sig meget, men når konceptet fungerer så godt har det ingen betydning.. Det kan virkelig noget. Stor anbefaling herfra

07/06/2025: The ice cream at Okkels is homemade, generally tastes really good – and yes, it looks good on Instagram too 😉 I’ve only been disappointed once… and that was probably mostly because my expectations were as high as the price of a scoop.
It’s not the cheapest ice cream in town, but you get quality and taste for your money – and sometimes that’s just what you need on a sunny day (or a grey Tuesday).
All in all: A delicious ice cream experience – with a little luxury on top. 🍦

An absolutely fabulous experience everything was perfect - food, service and drinks well matched.
24/06/2025: If you are looking for an evening where everything comes together in one place – food, wine, atmosphere, service and price – then Det Glade Vanvid in Viborg is just the place. And yes, it lives up to its name: it is almost crazy how well it all works.
From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by a staff that really has things under control. Smiling, professional and present without being intrusive. The service is top notch – here, the details have really been thought of, and you feel taken care of all the way through.
The food? A pleasure. Tasteful, beautifully presented and coordinated to perfection. The wine matches perfectly and flows without you having to ask – and it all comes together in that way where you feel a little spoiled.
And then the best part: the price. For that level of quality, wine ad libitum and the overall experience, it is almost too good to be true. You really get a lot for your money, and it feels like a luxury experience without the luxury price.
The only slight downside? There were a lot of guests that night, and you were seated a bit close together. It was a bit noisy and made it difficult to have a quiet conversation. But honestly – when that's the only thing you can put your finger on, it's probably something to live with.
