01/05/2024: We were on holiday in Strandby and wanted to treat ourselves to a nice fish restaurant. We came across this restaurant because of the numerous 5 star reviews. It is hidden and inconspicuous in the backyard of the pedestrian zone. A small but fine restaurant. A very nice atmosphere that invites you to linger. The service was incredibly good. Very courteous, attentive and competent. They knew what was being presented there and had background knowledge of every dish. We chose the 5 course menu. First of all, bring your time if you decide to do this. The food was a taste explosion for the palate. We haven't eaten so well in a long time. Every dish of the 5 courses was incredibly good. Starting from the way it is served right through to the individual components. You could taste that the products were all fresh on the plate. An experience that you cannot miss when you are in Frederikshavn. We would do it again. Price performance is excellent. A 5 course menu for the equivalent of €65 is definitely worth it.

17/02/2024: Cheerful waiters. Good service. Very good food. Just the right delivery time for the food, you have time to have a beer before it arrives. Good atmosphere. Not very cold here now, but it should be said that this is the winter season. Very satisfied.

Drink: many beers available. Soft drinks with free refill. Friendly and clear staff. Can speak English well. Highly recommended. Please note: large portions, so bring plenty of hunger!

27/03/2024: Great experience for everyone - including our vegetarian friends! We had a hard time finding a place in Skagen where our veggie friends could eat more than a tacky side salad. Blink offered an excellent dining experience for ALL of us. The dishes cost around DKK 215 and were incredibly delicious. No disappointments. Fantastic fresh fish, with exciting flavor combinations. Everything was enhanced to perfection. The service was so incredibly nice - we were served by Søren who was a SKAT. Super sweet and welcoming and the vibe was so good. We will 100% come again and recommend it to anyone.

02/04/2024: Need relaxation, then this is the place. Super delicious food, clean and lovely rooms. Location almost in the first row and from the saltwater pool on the roof there was a view of the Kattegat

01/04/2024: One of favorits 😊 Best spa, uniqe beaches close to the hotel (sæby strand & palmestranden) Amazing cosy lounge, great food and good drinks. I’ve been there over 5 times and still returning gladly ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A lot of nature experience near by if you have a car 😊

11/04/2024: A fantastic pearl at the top of Denmark. I've been stuck in old Skagen for over 30 years, and despite the fact that I love the place and its charm, I've always thought that the holiday could be topped off with quality wine and delicious delicacies, and that's exactly what you get here. Really cozy atmosphere, sweet and compliant service and a nice and delicious selection of local and foreign delicacies and wines. So can the place be recommended? To that extent, and if you come a little out of season, it is obvious.

17/03/2024: Placed in the old school in Skagen, Kokkenes serves really well prepared food priced quite fairly..the service is good and the cousy and light atmosphere add to the total experience...I can recommend this restaurant for its good food and atmosphere

05/09/2023: Cozy place, nice and clean shop. However, the ice cream was incredibly expensive, and unfortunately not of the quality advertised. The ice cream tasted flat and was crystallized, possibly because it is served too cold. The whipped cream was lovely, and served from a siphon bottle. It is not a place we will immediately return to.

02/04/2024: My wife, my 2 children ( aged 9 + 7 ) and myself spent 3 nights at 'The Reef'. We were very pleased with our visit and especially the staff and the service were absolute world class. Would most definitely come back another time.

02/04/2024: Drawback for not having a fridge in the hotel room. Plus there is an ironing board and iron in the hotel room. Otherwise good. A bit of a mess around parking. You can buy a parking certificate from the hotel, but you are not guaranteed a parking space. Everyone can park around the hotel. Not just guests. We had a room facing one of the side streets. There was a lot of noise. Both cars and drunk people. There wasn't a night this Easter that we weren't startled awake by some noise.

25/03/2024: Stayed 2 nights incl. dinner and breakfast. Really nice service and orderliness regardless of which of the staff we met. The dinners were super nice and nicely arranged. A really cozy place that exudes staff from the local area. Can definitely be recommended.
