27/12/2025: Great products, especially the butter, it just tastes fantastic and their ice cream is the best I've ever tasted, we've shopped there for many years and we'll continue to do so in the future.

22/12/2025: Ryå is, the best ice cream you can get in Denmark. In my opinion. The soft ice is a must to try.

22/12/2025: Foodies, listen up! We were traveling in Denmark again and looking for a good restaurant. My father-in-law said, "I saw something in Blokhus—a fish buffet." My immediate thought was: Fish + buffet = I'm in! So, on a Friday evening, we went there for the dinner buffet. We received a very warm welcome at the door—as it turned out, from the owner himself. He asked if we wanted to eat from the buffet, and when we agreed, he showed us around the restaurant and explained everything to us at length. The buffet consisted of a cold section, hot dishes, and a selection of desserts. Afterward, he showed us to a cozy table—even though we hadn't made a reservation and the restaurant was getting quite full. What was especially nice was that most of the guests were locals, which is always a good sign. Apparently, it's a real hidden gem! The buffets were all very extensive and left nothing to be desired. Everything was fresh, attractively presented, and constantly replenished. The staff were consistently attentive, friendly, and well-organized. The entire restaurant was very clean and well-maintained – as were the staff and the restrooms. It was particularly impressive that the buffet still looked as if it had just been set up, even though there had been many guests before and after us. And best of all: all this at a very fair price. We will definitely be back!

05/12/2025: Fantastic evening right from the start with a nice reception by the waiter, introduction to the large buffet, and the two waiters were fantastically service-minded. The food was incredibly delicious, varied and beautifully presented.

16/11/2025: How amazing was that?! A restaurant located right on the beach/landing site – the ambiance alone made it unbeatable. Enjoying freshly caught plaice fillet with whole-wheat bread in the midday sun – incredibly delicious – pure holiday bliss!

01/01/2026: This campsite has set the standard for all other campsites for us, but we already realise that few can match it!

06/11/2025: We had a holiday home in Saltum and drove to this small supermarket every morning to buy fresh bread and croissants. It's highly recommended. The staff is always very friendly and the baked goods are always fresh.

03/01/2026: The sculptures are truly impressive – both the sand sculptures and the intricately detailed wooden figures demonstrate exceptional craftsmanship. The verdant grounds are particularly lovely, with pleasant background music adding to the relaxed atmosphere. A tip: Be sure to view the sand sculptures from all sides – there are many lovingly crafted details to discover on the back as well. The entrance fee of around €20 per person isn't exactly cheap, but it's quite reasonable considering the quality and effort involved.

12/11/2025: We visited this restaurant yesterday. The ambiance is lovely, but the service and food didn't quite live up to it. What really displeased us, however, was that we paid 49 crowns (6.50) each for a regular cup of coffee and a small cup of tea bag. This price is simply outrageous. The price and quality are completely out of sync. For this reason, we won't be returning to this otherwise cozy establishment.

09/11/2025: Very little food to choose from and at a VERY expensive price compared to the rest of Blokhus's restaurants. There is no menu..

22/02/2026: The selection could have been a bit larger. But it's wintertime and not very busy. The cod was delicious.

14/02/2026: We visited Klausens Fiskerestaurant and had both moules frites and seafood boil – and it was a really good experience. The food was super delicious and tasty, and the seafood boil in particular deserves praise. It was brand new on the menu, but can definitely be recommended if you like seafood. It is a dish that takes a little time to eat, and it is for good reason that a pair of gloves are included. The service was also top notch. The host was chatty, friendly and very accommodating. There were not many guests, but it was also out of season. All in all, a really good visit to Klausens Fiskerestaurant in Hune, which can be recommended.

19/03/2026: We had heard about the hotel and wanted to visit it on our next trip to Denmark. In March 2026 we went there. The stay was very good! Service, food and management were top notch. This is a hotel with workers who have various disabilities and need some adapted work. A hotel a little out of the ordinary. We will be back here!! The hotel has a good standard, the beds were very good. The food tasted excellent. We ate both breakfast, lunch and dinner during the days we stayed there. Everything was very good! The hotel also has many events in its small concert hall and there was also a concert there the one evening we were there. The hotel only has 13 rooms, so it is not big. Here you could sit down and chat with the management and the staff was there all the time! Recommended!

08/02/2026: We have never been disappointed when we have visited the cafe. The food is delicious, the service is fast with both food and drinks. The staff are nice and polite. We enjoy watching the cartoons that are playing while you wait.

21/08/2025: A wonderfully well-maintained hotel, where you can feel the owners' passion and love for their work. Niels and Connie Olesen make every guest feel welcomed and pampered. The breakfast is among the best we've ever had, both for the quality of the ingredients and the wide variety offered. The rooms are new, modern, and impeccably clean. A truly recommended property. Thank you so much.

30/04/2025: Vi havde en fantastisk oplevelse for et år siden med lækker mad og venlig betjening og var fortrøstningsfulde, da aftenarrangement med mad og vin igen blev flyttet til Strandhotellet. Maden var helt i top igen - virkelig udsøgt. Der var flere vine at vælge imellem - også en med prop og uden proptrækker. Vi var denne aften kun to par tilmeldt arrangementet, og måske derfor overså personalet os og fulgte ikke op på noget. Hovedretten kom på bordet, inden tallerkner fra forret var fjernet. Personalet virkede meget uengagerede i vores besøg, og der var ikke megen service. Det virkede meget tilfældigt, når de kiggede vores vej Vi håber, det var en engangsforestilling, men vil nok overveje, om vi næste gang melder fra, hvis arrangement igen må flyttes.

28/04/2025: Overall a good experience, lunch was without the advertised open sandwiches, but there was so much other delicious food. The inn needs to get a handle on the lunch price, which was 169kr on Facebook/website, but was adjusted to 189kr. somewhere. I'm happy we got it for 169. Other lunch prices were to be expected.
