14/09/2024: Kokkedal Castle is an impressive destination that combines historical charm with modern luxury. The castle is beautifully surrounded by nature, and the picturesque view of the landscape creates a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The elegant rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated, giving a feeling of exclusivity. The on-site restaurant offers delicious food with a focus on seasonal produce, and the flavors are of high quality. The service is generally friendly and professional, although there can sometimes be a wait in the restaurant. Facilities such as spa and pool are a big plus and contribute to a relaxing experience, perfect for a weekend getaway. The only slight drawback is that parts of the castle are showing signs of age and could use an update. All in all, Kokkedal Castle is a wonderful place to visit if you are looking for a luxurious experience in historical surroundings.

01/11/2023: A fantastic time smørrebrød for lunch. A fish fillet pan-fried just as it should be. The biggest shrimp meal I've had in many years and a perfect potato meal. Homemade bread, mayonnaise and remoulade. Finally, coffee and a couple of well-poured cognacs. Last but not least, an innkeeper with time for his guests. If we didn't live in Ringsted, it was a place we would come often.

08/10/2023: Poor access to rooms. The bathroom not cleaned with faeces in the basin. Double room with only one high chair !! Everything was already closed at 9pm. After this time there is only access via an external fire escape!!! A very bad experience!!!!

23/07/2024: Sjældent har jeg mødt et pizzaria med så udsøgte pizzaer. Mængden og smagen er dejlig, og oveni kommer der et imødekommende personale med venlig betjening. Lokalet er rent og pænt. Vi kom ind 6 personer, og fik maden inden for 5 min allesammen. Det var vel tilrettelagt. Vi takker for et dejligt besøg, og kommer gerne igen...vi er pakket op med pizza bakker til det overskydende pizza - der var RIGTIG meget mad🤭👌

25/11/2023: They should start by telling their few customers that you can't pay with Dankort and then they refer you to an ATM machine that costs money to withdraw so that you can pay for the food we have eaten. You get the feeling that customs and tax should be looking at that place

18/10/2024: We got pizza where it was as thin as shortbread and if you ate with your fingers, the filling slipped off as it floated in some undefined liquid. 1 time we didn't eat up ever....

11/10/2024: Went there today to have a coffee and a piece of cake. We first wanted to order it individually, which was far too expensive. Then we saw that there was an offer with 1 coffee and a piece of cake, which was a little cheaper. The cake (a kind like Koppenrath and Wiese) was not yet properly thawed and cold, logically some pieces were still frozen. And the kitchen pieces were very small. Looked like they were buying the little cakes🙄 Coffee was lukewarm. For what we got, the price-performance ratio is not right at all!!! And on top of that we would have to wait a long time for our order. We paid the equivalent of €47😬 I'm happy to pay more if you don't get a frozen cake. Ambiance was totally ok. But that was it. Too bad. Never again!!

21/09/2024: We came to eat, very bad service. They brought the food over 70 minutes and then they brought the drinks. I do not recommend

20/10/2024: Hang on, what an ice cream cone we got, it was so much ice cream that he, who has no qualms about ice cream, had to give up eating it all... 😀😀 5 large scoops of your choice, soft ice cream and goof in a giant ice cream waffle... Welcome.. 👍👍

12/06/2024: Very grumpy lady, who answered the question whether she had something tasty with coffee: it is not a restaurant here! And whether we sat outside while it was 14C and the wind was blowing hard. The coffee tasted like ditch water, and her atmosphere ruined our outing in otherwise pleasant Denmark. Fortunately, the bakery nearby was open and we were kindly helped with a delicious Danish puff pastry cookie!

06/11/2024: Pictures can do a lot !!! In this case... cheat. What we thought was a nice full apartment was a narrow "shoebox". The cleaning was laughable, but was not Dancenter's fault, but against the previous tenants! But you should at least expect a vacuum cleaner with a bag that does not need to be changed and a bucket of cloth and a stiff broom. The area is super beautiful. 2 min.s walk to the beach, many dunes to walk in with dog and children. 5 minutes' drive to Tranum town, which has a nice shop and petrol station. 10-15 m car trip to Brovst with several shops.

01/09/2024: Bad place to rent a holiday home, everything is run down, their indoor pool is small they state that the water is 27g but our measurement is 20g, not a good experience for our grandchildren. No lighting out in the common area when it is dark, the only good thing is that it is very close to the sea, so my star is because of that.
