15/01/2025: The bread tasted like rubber and the meat did not seem delicious in any way. When we had been served the food, the "chef" went out and fixed the car right outside the shop. Huge red flag from here ✋

24/05/2025: We ordered 4 Bacon Cheese Burgers. We got 1 Bacon Cheese Burger and 3 regular burgers, one of which had hair inside. Which is really gross.

26/04/2025: We ordered 2 pizzas on Friday. Chose chili and garlic as a side dish. It costs DKK 0. stood there. Paid for the pizzas and was told they would be delivered approx. at 19. First at 20.30 (so an hour and a half later!) we get the pizzas delivered. On delivery, the offer also says that we have to pay extra for the chili and garlic we ordered for the pizzas (which they didn't charge anything for when we ordered and paid). We have to transfer the money to MobilePay, otherwise we can't get the pizzas delivered. So petty and really bad style after such a long wait. Never ordering pizza from there again. Fortunately, we have many other good pizzerias in Børkop...

06/08/2025: Best kebab in town, and yes I've tried Krestos which is also quite good. Great sandwich deals on Thursdays and Fridays and delicious pizzas.

27/08/2025: We specifically booked the buffet through the reception, but even here we were met with a lack of knowledge and were directed to inquire in the restaurant ourselves. In the restaurant we were told that there was a buffet every other day, which we adjusted our program accordingly. We even double-checked with the restaurant that there would be a buffet on the day we booked. When we got down to the restaurant after bowling, we were very disappointed to discover that the buffet had been cancelled anyway – without us as guests having been informed, despite our reservation. We tried to get the staff to find a solution or some form of compensation, but it was flatly rejected. That a place like Jesperhus, where the prices are certainly not low, chooses to handle mistakes in this way is simply incomprehensible. There was no willingness to take responsibility or make the slightest gesture to correct the mistake – not even a glass of wine or a soda as a band-aid on the wound. The reception also shrugged it off and simply said that the change had been decided several weeks ago. But how is it that we were only allowed to reserve the buffet in the restaurant three days before? It is in no way the guest's responsibility, and it should never end with us being the disappointed and incomprehensible ones. All in all, an experience that shows a lack of service, communication and understanding for the guests.

19/08/2025: Excellent pizzas when you arrive tired after a long drive, fast service and nice young people who enjoy their work. The only downside is that it is 30 kr more expensive per pizza than down in Nykøbing Mors By which is only 8 min drive away. But hey, we will still buy pizza there next time we arrive in Jesperhus

03/06/2025: I ordered a pizza sandwich and fries. The fries were really soft and tasted a lot of oil and fish fillet, I think they use the same oil for most or they don't change the oil often enough. The pizza sandwich had some strange black "stones" in it... I can't say what they are but they look more like large grains of sand. I don't recommend ordering here, so better see if you have any in your freezer.

31/05/2025: I got the wrong pizza. I ordered a bolognese pizza, but got some bullshit with kebab, mushrooms and Gorgonzola. The order was through Wolt, but I called the restaurant first as to see if we couldn’t figure it out. The guy told me he would talk to the driver and then call me back, but never did. I got my money for the pizza. But I really don’t think I should pay for the delivery fee just because the fries were delivered right. I would have never just ordered the fries. The delivery of 69 is more than the price of the fries. It makes no sense. This used to be my favourite place. But over the last couple of years it has become a shithole with no consideration for their customers. It’s become too frequent that they screw up and I won’t be getting food here anymore just because it used to be my favourite place. Zero stars.
