05/11/2024: The food is quite ok. The room is a bit boring.

31/10/2024: I have never had a worse experience at a restaurant. Customer service was downright disrespectful and it really made us uncomfortable, especially when some inappropriate and racist jokes were made, for example "You look like a monkey", which doesn't belong anywhere at all. One waiter even asked my companion if he hasn't had enough to eat because he is a little bigger. Not okay at all. Unfortunately, the food also did not live up to expectations. After waiting for over 40 minutes, the dish finally arrived, but it was barely edible. There was a hair in the food, and the portions were so small that we felt we were getting nothing for our money at all. My friend got food poisoning and had to go to the hospital. We chose a small coke and when we are about to pay, they say that we have obviously ordered a large coke. It was a disappointment all the way, as I should have just listened to my good mate who also had a bad experience and we will definitely not be back.

14/10/2024: We had booked a table for 12 people at r Restaurant Sidesporet, and here it was obviously a condition that all dishes had to be pre-ordered. We had booked a table for 18, despite pre-orders, we only got food on the table at 18.45. The meat was tough/dry. Very boring vegetarian dish consisting of a bowl of pearl barley, without taste. Thawed pancakes with no taste too. It was definitely NOT a culinary experience, but very boring and disappointing. We waited a very long time between each of the dishes. The price is WAY too high compared to the quality. We have previously been happy to be guests at the site, but this time has unfortunately resulted in us not returning.

17/07/2024: We bought soft ice cream and because of the heat it is difficult for the machine to keep the ice cream cold enough, so you have to hurry to eat it. Cozy place and lovely people 🤗

06/10/2024: It's going to be a bit of a mixed bag with this review. Let's start with the drag. My girlfriend had booked a table at Elmely Kro on my birthday because they have wiener schnitzel (my meal) and specifically wrote it in the booking 1 month before that we should have wiener schnitzel and prime burger, they obviously ask that you inform us. When we arrive on the day, we are greeted by a very arrogant and unfriendly waiter who informs us that this evening they only serve a Sunday dining as an option. Had we known that we would have booked somewhere else, there was no info about it or contact from their side. The waiter was so unpleasant and really flabby for the rest of the evening (and no, we hadn't made up, but of course expressed that it was bad customer service not to inform about this). But despite a terribly poor service from the waiter, we chose to stay and taste their Sunday dining menu, as it was late and we were hungry. And the chef gets all the praise we can muster, the food simply tasted so good, so if nothing else, it was worth all the trouble. Both the starter and the main course melted and created fireworks in the mouth. Can really recommend their pork jowls. And then the inn itself is cozy and atmospheric. Please book a table in advance, but don't expect to be able to get the food you expect.

21/09/2024: The portions fit a small bird and it is extremely expensive. I am close to 1 star rather than 2. Service is quite ok. I will never come again.

08/09/2024: This is an absolute - unfortunately not - insider tip. Very, very tasty homemade cake, the second time even Black Forest cherry! Beautifully decorated outside under the trees or inside in the café. In addition, very lovely hosts who also take time to chat with the individual guests. Very personable and an absolute recommendation. We felt very comfortable there and were very happy to come back.
