29/11/2025: We are 4 from Gilleleje who had an experience we didn't see coming, as we just wanted a small beer before going to a concert. Humle Ølbar is highly recommended. Fantastic service and great stories about the beers we were served. It was a pure pleasure.

15/10/2025: Super burger and friendly staff.

17/08/2025: Got some good fries, but a burger that tasted of nothing but ketchup. That's a bummer.

07/03/2026: The food was okay, but it was frustrating that you couldn't choose the potatoes and vegetables of the day. I would also recommend avoiding their bearnaise sauce since out of all their dormitory ones it was the worst.

11/01/2026: Really nice and skilled staff, lovely food, got delicious pizzas, exactly as they should be. Also, atmospheric place.

07/01/2026: We ordered New Year's menu A, and were satisfied with everything. There was plenty of food for me and my friend. The sushi was tasty and beautifully presented, we think. 5 stars from us.

06/03/2026: I got 2 steaks with bearnaise and potatoes. The steaks were inedible as it was like eating a cheap burger steak. They are not homemade.

25/11/2025: I had an absolutely wonderful time at this sushi place. The moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt relaxed yet refined — perfect for a nice dinner out. The sushi was incredibly fresh: each piece was beautifully presented, with a great balance of flavors and texture. I especially loved the nigiri — melt-in-your-mouth salmon and perfectly seasoned rice. The service was very attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Prices were reasonable for the quality. I’ll definitely return — highly recommended!”

13/09/2025: We had high expectations of the restaurant in terms of the quality of the food, but were unfortunately disappointed. The quality and price do not match the food, unfortunately. The fish soup was completely without herbs, but filled with lots of potatoes. Served in a beautiful bowl, but it is not edible. Plaice fillets small and unimpressive / asparagus potatoes with peel and sauce poured over, instead of serving it on the side. It just did not look delicious. Nice wine and good guidance - sweet service-oriented waiter.

04/09/2025: Very unimpressive and lukewarm experience. A young rooster breast of just over 100 grams in size, a white wine sauce that was not enough for both potatoes and young rooster, 4 very small asparagus potatoes and a very modest portion of corn and corn puree. You simply can't charge 285 kroner for that, not even in these times. The portion size would be okay as a main course in a 5-course menu. If you are going to serve such a modest amount of food, it should be an experience in terms of taste. It certainly wasn't. The white wine sauce hadn't reduced long enough, so it was on the verge of not tasting anything. In addition, the potatoes were not freshly cooked, which the core temperature revealed. Actually, I would have preferred to have a dialogue with the restaurateur about it, but despite the fact that he seemed very nice, he paid very little attention to us and didn't ask once if the food was good, as he was busy entertaining the other guests whom he obviously knew. If the food had cost a little more realistically for what you get, I would have not cared and just thought “oh well”, but in this case the price and quality are so far apart that I feel compelled to warn others.

27/11/2025: Boring brunch plate. The only thing that was fresh and proper on that plate was the fruit. The fried egg and bacon were not fried enough, and the scrambled eggs had been overcooked. I don't think it was worth the money, unfortunately.

16/11/2025: Always good to eat at Oliver. Been to the breakfast buffet and there is always a lot to choose from. 😊 A small minus is that the juice stays warm with the milk. The juice is good when placed on the table with a few ice cubes but quickly becomes warm like the milk. Always worth a visit to Cafe Oliver.👌😊

20/02/2026: A place that needs renovation Swimming pool???bad smell and a toilet that could not be locked a changing room that could not be closed door and in the description on the hotel page it says 26 27 degrees nice pool that was not it anyway so the hotel was chosen after we could swim did not work and had to ask for another room as the bed was a field bed from the war time. But breakfast was quite ok.

20/12/2025: Nice hotel. Nice but small rooms. Lovely breakfast and very friendly staff.

13/12/2025: There is apparently no lower limit to how lousy food you can serve at a Christmas lunch/buffet. Rye bread hard as a rock. Pale bread that falls apart. Slimy salmon, strange fish fillet anything but crispy, duck with soft skin, soft medister sausages, not shiny brown potatoes, meatballs that fall apart. The chef must have an aversion to anything crispy.

11/01/2026: 50,- for the flattest pita bread I've ever had; the estimate would be that it weighed 200g. When I mentioned it to the owner, he shrugged his shoulders and said: "that's how it is". I had actually boycotted them for a few years, but wanted to give them a second chance. It turned out that it hadn't changed. The food is nice, but you have to be prepared to pay overpriced.
