24/09/2026: How callous customer service is it that you have parking control in your own parking lot, which is incredibly poorly signposted. When you then approach the staff and can prove that you have just eaten there, they just shrug their shoulders and say too bad. I couldn't see the signage there, as a minibus was stopping and blocking the view. It's also not something you are made aware of inside the restaurant, which it should be. I find it deeply distasteful. Thank you for nothing.

13/09/2026: A place that is only worth visiting if you have forgotten your packed lunch. They also tend to forget half of what you ordered; remember to check your purchase, otherwise you may be standing in line to get the rest delivered while your food gets colder.

11/09/2026: Highly recommended! Martens Røgeri in Karrebæksminde is an incredibly delicious place. The food is top notch, the prices are very reasonable, and the beautiful view over the canal completes the experience. The cozy and informal atmosphere makes it the perfect place for a good lunch. Definitely worth a visit.

15/10/2026: I ordered a small burger which was ready within 15 minutes. However, I had to return it because the burger looked awful. As expected, I had to stand in line for another 15 minutes. When I asked about it, I felt completely ignored. So, if you want to ruin your mood and waste 30 minutes standing in line at this McDonald's for nothing, feel free to go. 😁

11/01/2026: Bad service! It is not stated that the food is not halal when Muslims enter the pizzeria. The employee will not compensate for the misunderstanding of serving pork. Therefore I ended up leaving without food which I had already paid for. Bad style and service.

18/12/2025: Fantastic meal. Ordered homemade pita bread and highly recommended. Crispy but not falling apart and with fresh, delicious crispy ingredients.

11/05/2026: Older inn and it's a bit dated, but really good food and friendly staff. Needs to be refreshed a bit in some places, but really well visited.

13/12/2025: There is apparently no lower limit to how lousy food you can serve at a Christmas lunch/buffet. Rye bread hard as a rock. Pale bread that falls apart. Slimy salmon, strange fish fillet anything but crispy, duck with soft skin, soft medister sausages, not shiny brown potatoes, meatballs that fall apart. The chef must have an aversion to anything crispy.

02/08/2026: The worst meat I've ever had, the food was not good and too expensive, more dressing than salad

13/07/2026: We got 2 durum with kebab and 2 sodas. The food seemed fresh and nice, but without much flavor. Our soda also seemed pretty tasteless. Only 2 stars. It was easy to order the food and we got it delivered relatively quickly, the staff was friendly.

17/10/2026: The food is almost mediocre. We had the classic burgers, an omelet and fries. The buns and beef was just dry enough for it to be sad. Atmosphere like a dimly lit bar, but with all the soulless energy of a cheap cafeteria. Servers are barely present behind the register. But at least they are kind when addressed. We will not be back.

27/03/2026: Came in to order some food for me and my family, 3 customers were before me who ordered their food. There was 1 employee to cook food & serve customers, but before he would take my word he had to take those who ordered through the website.... Cool you are busy but then hire staff for the traffic who wants to wait 30min to order their food... super poor

24/10/2026: The wait is WAY too long! The food is not served at the same time, and it can take up to an hour from when you order until the food arrives. There is also no soda in the cola. The food actually tastes good enough, but it ruins the experience when you have to wait so long. We almost thought that our order had not gone through because we still hadn't received our food after an hour. So we ordered the same thing again, and suddenly they brought three of the same dishes that we had already ordered an hour earlier. Really bad service and way too long a wait!

10/10/2026: We are greeted when we enter by a seemingly nice young girl who asks if we have booked a table, we of course answer yes and the name it was booked under, to which we are told that we can find ourselves a free table, (you don't do that in a restaurant) the staff generally have a sloppy attitude, one is walking around and openly chewing gum, another walks around with a backwards cap, call me old-fashioned but you don't wear a cap in a restaurant AND NOT AT ALL THE STAFF WHO ARE MOVING IN THE RESTAURANT, the restaurant was packed, the tables were extremely close together, the noise level was so that you couldn't talk quietly together, the wait for the food was like a city in Russia, when we were supposed to move on we couldn't finish eating when the food finally came. The food itself was ok with a good taste but no better than other places in the city despite the fact that it is actually more expensive than most other sushi places, the toilets there have seen public toilets that are significantly cleaner and less worn. Unfortunately we won't be going there again, we would have otherwise been looking forward to a nice child-free evening

19/08/2026: The worst Vivaldi I've ever been to. Service is poor and they clearly hired young workers to save money because the business must be doing poorly, it will probably continue to do so if they don't invest in the place, a vicious circle they've gotten into, unfortunately, because it's a nice place.

15/08/2026: Yes. Here it has been corrected, tightened up and made into a sharper and more negative review, but still in a way that seems credible and is based on your own experience: I ate at Café Vivaldi the other day, and it will certainly be the last time. The place looks nice at first glance. There is plenty of space, the option to sit both inside and outside and even a smoking section. But from there, unfortunately, there was only one way: down. I have previously eaten at Café Vivaldi in Hillerød, many years ago, and remembered the food as being rather mediocre and superficial. I therefore thought that the concept and quality might have improved over time. That was a mistake. I had booked a table, although it turned out to be completely unnecessary. When we arrived, we were just told to find a place to sit ourselves. You order at the bar, so you shouldn't expect much from actual service. I asked how long the wait for the food was, and was told about 30-45 minutes. Fair enough. The menu was relatively limited. I chose fish & chips because I thought it would be hard to ruin after all. My wife chose a pasta dish. We ordered a beer and a drink at the same time, as well as nachos, which we wanted to have as a small snack while we waited. We also ordered drinks with the food itself. Then we just sat and waited. After about 40 minutes, everything came at once: nachos, main courses and all the drinks. So much for a drink and some nachos before the meal. And the food? It certainly didn't make the experience any better. My fish & chips were really bad. The fish was greasy, heavy and downright unappetizing. The fries were okay, but that's about the most positive thing I can say. My wife's pasta dish was also not a success. The meat came in large, coarse pieces and certainly didn't seem very inviting, and it was all in a boring and anonymous sauce. It looked and tasted more like something that had been thrown together without much interest in the result. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing. The service is practically non-existent, because you have to do most of the work yourself, and when the food is of such poor quality, it is difficult to see what you are really paying for. I find it hard to imagine that a regular grill bar could not deliver a better meal for less money. My advice is therefore very simple: save your money and go somewhere else. Personally, I would rather get a red sausage with bread from the local grill bar than eat at Café Vivaldi again.
