27/08/2026: Definitely go. The rolls and bread are really delicious, but usually sold out by late morning. The Danish pastries are tasty, but traditionally very sweet.

10/09/2025: A very warm welcome 😊 We had a spot in the front row with a view of the islands. The toilets and showers were very clean and were cleaned every morning. This was our second time here and we'd love to come back.

20/09/2025: Hidden gem. Feels like you're spending time with the local community in the best way. Cozy and serene with a lovely courtyard. Portions were BIG and delicious, at affordable prices!

23/07/2026: Updated 23/7/26 The prices have now been raised drastically, and do not match the quality. I will buy elsewhere in the future unfortunately. (Reviewed January 26: Large selection. Fine food for the price. It is not a culinary experience. Nor the best pizzas I have eaten. It is quite fine for the price. The owner is nice and accommodating. The price matches the food you get. It is cheaper than others in the area. If it were 20% more expensive, I would buy elsewhere. But it is fine enough for me.)

08/08/2026: I was really shocked afterwards. 66 DKK (normally I pay around 45 DKK for that in Denmark) for three Rundstyker and one Karnelsnegl – the quality was unfortunately below average.

30/07/2026: Dry bread with a soft crust. On the other hand, it was expensive 🤷‍♂️.. feels like bread from yesterday

07/08/2026: The pizzas have really gotten good! We tried it a couple of years ago and the level wasn't that high at all. We were very impressed. It's great to have a good pizzaria right next to the cottage.

11/08/2026: I have been to the bakery here. The café looks cozy. I bought a sourdough loaf and a slice of cake. Both were very tasty. The sourdough bread is perhaps the best bread I have ever eaten! Highly recommended!

06/09/2026: Fantastic atmosphere at Bytrommen in Nykøbing Sjælland! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The new owners have really taken Bytrommen to a new level⭐️ You can really feel the new owners in the fantastic atmosphere. Whether you stop by for a single drink/draft beer or go all-in on a city tour with good music, they deliver. Even though there were many guests at 03:00 in the morning, the service was top-notch with smiles and great enthusiasm.🤗 The men's toilets are also the cleanest I've ever seen in a bar so late at night. At closing time, the staff even offered us a to-go cup unsolicited so we could take the drink with us. It's exceptional service that I haven't experienced anywhere else! After the change of ownership, the place can definitely be recommended to both locals and the many summer guests!🍺 Thank you for an atmospheric evening 🥳🍻

06/09/2025: We were there on Saturday evening at 5:30 PM, just in time to get a drink (it was good!). The Italian stall then decided to close (why? I have no idea). So there was only the option of getting a burger. It's quite annoying when you get there relatively early on a Saturday evening and want something to eat.

03/09/2025: We were there at the end of August and there were only two stalls selling food – Italian food and burgers. We had some delicious bruschetta and drinks from the bar. Although the selection was limited, it is a nice place to sit under the trees and relax for an hour.

08/06/2026: I've eaten here twice, paying with my Danish bank card. The third time I went, a new person served me. I politely asked for two frikadeller to go. She put them in the microwave, and I told her it wasn't necessary to heat them because they would arrive home cold. She ignored me and continued heating them. When I went to pay, she saw my Danish bank card and told me they didn't accept it. I explained that I had already paid with that card twice without any problems, and she just repeated what I said in a mocking tone. In the end, she told me to come back with cash, and I didn't understand what could have happened. My bank is Lunar, and I had already paid at this place twice. I'm not Danish; I'm Spanish, and I spoke to her in both English and my limited Danish.

10/08/2026: Worth a visit and a nice concept

03/08/2026: Really cozy place. Delicious food. Could dream of slightly better fries if you had to improve a place. And ice in the drinks would also have been delicious. And if there were to be 5 stars I would prefer ordering at the table. But I could easily come again, for the very nice waiters.
