12/07/2025: Cool concept. Nice business. The cakes are not from yesterday. Probably not from the day before either…. The choice of ingredients is very unconventional. Fun to try. Not something I need to taste again.
The tree trunk's ratio between cake and marzipan is clearly in favor of the marzipan. In addition, it tastes more like an oatmeal ball with dates and figs. I would recommend the kitchen to go a more traditional route.
The banana cake should not be sold when it is THAT old. Completely dry piece of pastry. The strawberry cake is okay but not worth writing home about.
Conclusion
Fun with organic pastries. Not something I want to return to. Especially not when the cakes have been sitting for as long as they do at the farm bakery.

04/01/2026: We got pizza from here and a calzone, I’m super impressed with the size of the calzone! Huge! Salad pizza was actually salad on it not just a vegetarian one like we would call it at home in New Zealand, this made me giggle. All in all a nice pizza dinner, I’d order again if visiting Denmark.

26/08/2025: We came for dinner to celebrate my birthday. We ordered 3 x Danish steak of the day.
The meat that was supposed to be minced beef tasted like pork and was more boiled than fried and the onions were strangely yellowish and not fried soft the sauce was not seasoned and adding salt and pepper did not help. On the plate there was also some pineapple and watermelon as a side dish with new potatoes that were a little crunchy.
The good thing for us was that we did not have to pay for the poor food that we refused to eat

22/07/2025: We ate at Let's Thai Food twice in late July, 2025. The first time I gave my order to a young employee who obviously misunderstood my order. We waited for about ½ hour, but when we got home we had Pad Thai with shrimp instead of chicken. Too bad because my wife is allergic to shellfish. The dish was very oily and a small portion compared to the price. When we came back a few days later, I mentioned that we had been given the wrong dish to take home. The owner just smiled. I said that it was quite a shame because my wife could not eat Pad Thai with shrimp. Again, no acknowledgement of their mistake or offer to make amends. In general, they use too much oil and too few good ingredients in the food. The second time we got a dish with far too many noodles and almost no chicken/vegetables. We will probably not come back. And I cannot recommend the place. Too bad because it is well located in Ordrup 'downtown'. So better have a pizza down at Ordrup Lounge.

03/08/2025: Pizza much too dry; tomato sauce not recognizable. Dough good and other toppings also ok to good. Lasagna edible but just. Salad a catastrophe; and ok mix of lettuce and vegetables covered with a terrible dressing. I do not recommend this restaurant.

17/10/2025: 94 kroner for a waffle ice cream with two scoops is pretty expensive and when I asked if I could get whipped cream, the clerk said it wasn't included in the price. Thanks for the coffee. I'll never buy ice cream again at those prices 🤑
17/10/2025: The young man behind the counter wears gloves, but he keeps them on while he stands and fiddles with his phone.. Super unhygienic and not surprising that for the first time I have seen Olgas with a medium smiley on the door..
The place seriously needs a loving hand and although the service is polite, the hygiene is absolutely no. 1!!!
Therefore only one star with lots of room for improvement :/

08/09/2024: Vi på glasmuseet, hvilket var en god oplevelse. Var to personer, der gik til cafeen, hvor der var flere tomme borde, som var reserverede. Derudover var der en del ledige tomme borde. Vi spurgte om plads, men den unge pige kunne ikke betjene os da hun, oplyste, at hun var alene. Der sås dog en del andre unge, der serverede. Jeg spurgte om ikke det var muligt at købe noget, men fik et surt svar at hun ikke havde tid.
Kan godt være det bare er mig, der er blevet gammel, men tænker, at når man har et spisested, bør der vel være personale til at betjene de gæster, som der er borde til.

22/06/2024: The first time I was there, I invited 3 good friends and it was just a perfect evening, delicious well-cooked food.🙋♀️🙂🥂
25/04/2024: We got their 4-course tasting menu and initially asked if it was okay to exchange the two glasses of wine with a rhubarb juice and a cup of tea. To this the waiter replied, ‘of course’ and we continued believing that it was okay.
Apart from the miserable halibut, the food was ok. The waiters gave us a flippant attitude after our comment about the halibut and it was not pleasant to be there after that.
When we paid we expected 2 x 399kr but were told that the tea and juice could not be exchanged despite what the waiter said earlier. She had ‘asked behind the scenes’.
It could have suited her to inform us during dinner so we had a chance to choose it.
We complained and she also removed the tea from the bill after much grumbling but she could not do anything about the juice.
This is obviously the impression BistroF wants to leave for 37 kr when we just spent 800 kr.
I won't be back.

13/07/2025: Over 300 for a „buffet” for one adult and 4 years old - absolutely every single dish in buffet was cold, meat was as dry as Jesus’ sandals - knive couldn’t cut through - chips were stale, breaded fish was soggy and greasy. On the top of that I was served regular coke instead of zero, which I have specifically asked for, which made me nearly slip into coma for next few hours.
12/07/2025: Et dejligt afslappende sted i gåafstand fra Rørvig havn. Dejlig mad og vin. Rigtig god til prisen og sød og tjenstvillig betjening.

11/08/2025: Lovely dinnerware. Good steaks in many sizes and with nice accessories.
26/04/2025: Taste-wise, the 300 gram Rib-eye steak was really good, but 100 grams of the steak was pure fat. The fries were cold and hard, the bearnaise sauce was cold and bland. The salad was dry and looked like something that had been sitting for a long time. Unfortunately, a bland meal for the high price.

22/07/2024: We have eaten here before under previous owners and wanted to try again. The food was sublime. I had a champinon steak that was large and so tender you could cut it with a fork. Amazing champinon sauce. It won't be the last time!

17/06/2024: The food was unfortunately oversalted and therefore inedible. This should be noticeable during preparation; there's a lack of love and passion here. The drink, a Tuborg on tap, was perfectly chilled and delicious. The service was attentive and friendly.

04/10/2024: Vi har i sidste weekend holdt vores 2x 60 års fødselsdag . Vi har været til skaldyrsaften et par gange , det var så lækkert . Vi havde på ønskelisten gavekort til skaldyrsaften . Herligt det fik fik vi . Værdi 1.350 kr . Tænk at han har samvittighed til at udstede et sådan for bare 2 uger siden uden at få dårlig smag i munden med vished om det ikke kunne benyttes . Ærgerligt for os . Men da endnu mere for dem der har givet det i gave ! De kunne ligeså godt ha smidt dem i rendestenen . Rigtig sur oplevelse som vi godt kunne ha været foruden .
09/08/2024: Vores overnatning og efterfølgende frokost på Højby kro.
Værelset var som sådanne ok, virkede lid fugtigt på gulvet og buseren har ikke været afkalket længe fik en hård stråle lige i hovedet.
Morgen maden var under al kretisk. Mellem 8:00 og 10:00 vi kom kl. 9:00 der var der kun lidt brød tilbage og lidt senere kun et rundstykke tilbage. Der var kun to slags pålæg, spegepølse og noget kedeligt gråt hamburgerryg hvor der tillige sad en stor spyflue på det, ingen rullepølse eller leverpostej. Der lå to stykker stegt bacon men ingen æg, de var udsolgt, så var der noget fast mørkegul skære ost (kender ikke oprindelsen) samt camembert ost, div. Kornprodukter, te kaffe og juice. Lidt trist morgenmad.
Til gengæld da vi senere på dagen kom tilbage for at spise frokost var det rigtigt fint. Vi kom med resten af familien og fik en dejlig frokost, desværre ingen billeder her men de kan ses på TripAdvisor, intet at klage over her super.
