07/09/2026: We booked a table through the website and got a response fairly quickly. The food was good and fresh and the little robots that drive around with the food are nice.

12/08/2026: Hua Long is world class. It's not gourmet, it's not luxury. But it's excellent food at a fair price. It's delightfully uncomplicated.

31/05/2026: Absolutely lovely experience. My daughter with asd and I stopped in and found the perfect, calm atmosphere for a mellow, fun afternoon activity. The staff was so helpful and kind, we had phenomenal hot chocolate and a chai vanilla latte (best I’ve ever had), and had a great time choosing colors and painting with all the different types of paint, stamps, and embellishments. Not a cheap activity, but well worth the price. Would absolutely go again ☺️

21/06/2026: SO delicious sushi at the local Kaku Sushi, both the classic and the fun innovative pieces taste really good and are a good size (delicate and not too big) and I have rarely experienced such a sweet team of people working here. 10 out of 10! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

26/04/2026: We ordered yesterday. Unfortunately my bread was burnt and they forgot my jalapenos. My husband's chicken was overcooked so was too dry and therefore inedible. The salad consisted mostly of iceberg lettuce. A bit honest

06/09/2026: The food was amazing and the service was top notch. I have never tasted such delicious food before! I highly recommend eating here.

22/08/2026: Best food in all of Roskilde. But quite sparse with portions and no dressing if you order a plate.

27/09/2026: Out of 7 cheese burgers, one was missing steak, another was missing everything but steak, and a third was missing cheese - it just went too fast that day.

05/10/2026: It is the world’s worst restaurant. I ordered a pizza and it never came after 45 minutes. So I asked a lady to check if my pizza was coming. She pretended to go to the kitchen and turned around just before the kitchen door and told me to wait more. She didn’t even go into the kitchen and lied to me. Anyway I waited ten more minutes and the pizza never came, I got angry and left the restaurant. They have to change the name of the place to ‘Kafka’s Castle.‘

23/09/2026: The food didn't really taste like anything. We got Fish & chips. Neither the sauce, the fries nor the fish tasted much, the food was clearly lacking seasoning.

25/09/2026: Updated: a real disappointment. Others who arrived after us were served a long time before. The food was ok as such, but not worth the price. One main course had to be returned because the meat was cut incorrectly. Which resulted in us taking turns eating. Very disappointing, because the quality was top notch last time. (Old review: A bit high prices, but you get what you pay for! So the food is absolutely top quality!)

22/09/2026: The food was good. Didn't have a starter that was on the menu. Didn't have a wine that was on the menu. Serving was a bit awkward, reaching across the table.

18/05/2026: Really nice Scandic. Very good breakfast, in a nice large dining room. Liked that there is a large park directly adjacent to the hotel with a 1000 meter walkway around it. Also disc golf, playground etc. Takes 10 minutes to walk to central Roskilde

04/09/2026: Clean atmosphere and excellent food near the Viking Museum... not to be compared to our pizza. The one we had was good, the family version for three is fine.

25/04/2026: Quite a nice experience. Chose a burger menu, where the steak is really good for the price, and that's the reason for 4/5, as it wasn't that tasty otherwise. It was clearly not made from a frozen disc, but it wasn't dry either, and was well seasoned with salt and pepper. Good fries, which were crispy. There was no dipping sauce - they were a bit stingy with that and didn't bother to go up for more. Overall a nice experience. Not overwhelming, but for 110 kr. I didn't go to bed hungry and had a good meal. Will probably come and try their menu items with kebab, as it looked excellent.

26/02/2026: The type of bar slowly and sadly fading out of memory. Taps are dedicated to Åben, but my best guess is that a bajer with a chaser easily outsells these more modern beers. From the outside it looks like Edward Hopper’s Nighthawk, with patrons from all walks of life. TV screens gone black once streaming services started dominating the airwaves. A few The Bruery and Cascade bottles on the shelf as a reminder of early ambitions. Now mainly collecting dust. So, obviously a bad place then? Quite the contrary. More heart and soul than many sleek and sterile pubs these days. Met a nice couple who insisted we try some Limfjordsporter. That doesn’t happen in too many places.
