16/08/2025: Vi var inviteret af vores datter- der havde bestemt vi skulle have hua hin menu. Menuen var så lækker og autentisk, og der var rigeligt af den. Personalet var rigtig søde, selve restauranten var meget hyggelig. Vores datter sagde at prisen var mere end god. Alt i alt et rigtig godt sted hvor vi med glæde kommer igen

17/10/2025: Still waiting. Maybe the chef went fishing for the ingredients.
I was supposed to pick up my food at 19:00. It’s now 19:24, and there’s still no sign of anything remotely edible. Not even an apology, just the echo of my stomach growling in the void. I have been asked to move places but no respect for time.
If you value your evening, maybe skip this place on Fridays — or bring a sleeping bag.

23/09/2025: Large hotel a few kilometers north of Roskilde. I have been to conferences there a few times and it was good.
18/09/2025: I stayed one night in mid-September during a trip to Denmark with my wife. It's located about a 10-minute drive from the center of Roskilde. It has guest parking with electric car charging stations, which you can pay for using the Clever app (not directly with the hotel).
We were assigned a tiny room in the basement, reached by a steep staircase (which isn't easy with suitcases).
The bed is as wide as the room, so it's almost impossible to get in from the sides to lie down; you have to jump from the back...
The bathroom is a hole in the wall; the shower is built into a recess in the wall and has a curtain, which is completely unhygienic. There's no kettle or tea and coffee making facilities in the room (for the type of hotel this is, I think these amenities are basic).
Breakfast is served in a huge room. There's a tiny buffet with the bare essentials: bread, a few mini croissants, bananas, apples, hard-boiled eggs, scrambled eggs and bacon in individual portions, coffee and juices, a yogurt, and a couple of cereals. The price is high for what you get.
Very low quality for the price!

13/09/2025: Found this incredible place a few years ago. Exciting with the different departments and the fantastic location... BUT what happened to the amazing food that was famous before.? Now it's just a sad cafeteria with a big kitchen... Boring dishes and sad cakes... And where is the exciting museum shop? There should be 10 stars, but you only get 1..! Hope things can change again. It's too sad otherwise..!

17/10/2025: I have never paid so much for such a small shooting star. There was more mayonnaise (dressing) than there was fish.
No, I have to ask for the Fasaneriet 😍.
14/10/2025: My wife and I were there for lunch on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.
Ordered a shooting star and a herring dish as well as a drink. The service of the young people was ok, and the food came very quickly.
However, it was not possible to get 2 fried fish fillets instead of one fried and one steamed! Was told that everything was made in advance. So it is not prepared while you wait 🤔, which you could also see and taste.
The herring is 'Christian's ø Sild', which is always good.
There are also some shrimp and various dips on and next to it.
The shock is the salad, for both dishes. Green salad, where the edges are black, slimy and therefore spoiled 🫣. Get hold of a waiter, and then suggest that they give the coffee for free. We don't hear about that anymore! Get coffee and cake, which is just ok.
When the government comes, the coffee is on anyway. Pointing out the problem again, but there is nothing we can do about it.
Yes, that sounds very strange.
When we leave, we hear through another conversation that the head chef is not there that day. I don't think he/she would have served us this lunch.
I can't recommend the place based on our experience.

11/10/2025: Really a restaurant that has things under control. Fast service and polite staff.
28/09/2025: BASH Burger was our go-to place this summer. We stumbled upon it by accident while looking for a place for lunch. We received a warm welcome from all the staff, especially Diana. Delicious burgers, a great atmosphere, and excellent service. We went here several times, for lunch or dinner with groups of three or more. They're fantastic! 😁
