25/04/2025: A fantastic local baker in Skælskør, where the quality of the baked goods is truly top class. It is clear that attention is paid to the details - both in taste and appearance. They have also understood the importance of good surroundings and offer wonderful coffee from Lavazza, which makes the visit extra pleasant. A super initiative for early morning souls who want a quiet moment with delicious coffee and freshly baked bread. The service was also top notch - sweet, smiling and welcoming staff who make the visit even better. Highly recommended! Good initiative in a city with a lack of such initiatives, would have got 5 stars if the experience had been by the harbor further down the pedestrian street, maybe the baker will open a small cozy coffee shop there one day 😉

06/05/2025: We were a small group of 4, we have been unlucky before, but thought we would try again. We had booked a table at 6 pm, when we get to the buffet it is actually half empty, no fish again dressing, we wait and finally agree that there will be no fish. Then we go aboard in meat potatoes and gravy, this cannot be eaten as the gravy is cold, and we choose to tell that, after which they just say yes, then we go to someone else, he measures the gravy to 28 degrees, and we are told that their hotplate does not work as it should!!!! The guy who stands and cuts meat is very arrogant and is really not polite, and it was not just us, there were several people who commented, here we are good enough to be a nuisance!! So it was definitely not just us. We have now returned home, and 3 out of 4 have really thin stomachs, so now it has been tried twice, I will not set foot in a restaurant in Slagelse, after all we spent 1300 kr for 4 people. It is great that the flame has served as well as it has been in the media, but unfortunately it is at the expense of us as customers, the staff can't keep up at all!!!!!!! Best regards Lise Harding

28/04/2025: Great location just around the church and the school for HC Andersen. Loads of outdoor seating and very central. The food was fantastic and the service was out of this world. The juices were beautiful and tasty. The waitress was really good in explaining and giving time and it showed that she had experience in dealing with people who could not hear very well so hats off to the young lady that was serving us on the day. The missing star is that the café could do more to enhance the ambience within the café itself and include more local photos or art and no parking nearby.

05/05/2025: Absolutely ridiculous for a chain of this size to have sold out of soda. Have never tried anything similar, that you do not find an alternative such as bottled soda is simply too amateurish. Then I'd rather go 10 meters to the side at Sunset where it doesn't sail.

24/04/2025: Long waiting time. Bad service. Saves on dressing in their burgers, doesn't taste of anything. 4 burgers without dressing. I'm just saying add.

25/04/2025: I had a delicious and tender steak done to a perfect medium served with a great whisky sauce and some vegetables. The food was good, the staff was nice and polite and the atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing, all in all a good experience.
