29/03/2024: Super delicious pizza! Perhaps the best we have ever had in a restaurant. Crisp and delicious base, tasty filling and a good balance of cheese/tomato/filling. Smiling and friendly staff. We got the food in a flash, despite the fact that virtually every table in the restaurant was occupied🙂

29/03/2024: Very bad experience. After 25 minutes in the restaurant, we contacted the staff ourselves to be allowed to order. After 1.5 hours, we still hadn't received our food and we could understand that they hadn't started cooking yet, so we left without get something to eat. In my opinion, the least you can do is to say "sorry for the wait".

22/03/2024: Both Upstairs and Fru Geest are among the best places to eat in Aabenraa, especially for the price. Upstairs has had its fair share of struggles, but has also developed a lot over the past six months. In any case, my experiences have only been positive. However, the room in Upstairs can be very loud, especially when there are many guests.

01/11/2023: Unfortunately it was low season and the weather was anything but inviting. We were also the only guests on the entire island. The loving older lady was very friendly, but unfortunately only had coffee for us. But still recommended!

01/04/2024: We went for Easter brunch and had a somewhat mixed experience. There was enough to eat, but we missed quite a few things. There was delicious applesauce on the tables and coffee and a selection of 3 types of tea were offered. 4 types of cheese and 5-6 types of cold cuts, as well as warm liver pâté with fried mushrooms and bacon In addition, small pancakes and omelettes, boiled eggs and fried eggs in rings of green pepper. There was no sugar on the tables for the coffee, nor salt for the egg. The rolls were frozen reheated. We missed e.g. salmon and there were only 2 kinds of jam. We also missed "Nutella" or topping chocolate. It could also have been delicious with some pastry and e.g. Tomato Mozzarella. All in all, not quite as expected.
