20/08/2026: After a walk around the island, both up at the viewpoint and on the beach and seeing the swallows, it is nice to finish with a cup of coffee and the island's delicious almond cake in Bar's coffee house.

10/08/2026: Party with Roasted Suckling Pig. We just had a party at Kalvø Badehotel for 46 people. The staff has been very accommodating in terms of organizing the party. We got good advice on putting together the menu and the evening's course. In fact, we could have it the way we wanted it :-) We started with bubbles in the pavilion, a small salmon appetizer, then roasted suckling pig with various potatoes and salads. Ice cream and apple cake with coffee and tea. Beer, water and wine, both with and without alcohol. And drinks. There is a music system with Bluetooth and disco lights. The staff was nice and helpful all evening, so we had the party we dreamed of. We will come again <3

31/08/2026: Huge filled pancakes. Few people need to order more than one. The food pancakes are good and so are the dessert pancakes. Cozy location, premises and atmosphere. Nothing to complain about at the time of writing.

22/05/2026: Great pizzeria. Pizzas aren't very big, but generously topped. I chose the chicken pizza myself and it tasted excellent. Price 80 DKR (converted to €10.85)

20/07/2026: Our family (parents, two children, and grandmother) has now stayed at the Toscana Ristorante Padborg ten times for an overnight stop on our way to the Danish North Sea coast. The apartment was always very clean, and the staff extremely friendly. We'll be staying there for the eleventh time on our return trip. In my opinion, the area isn't really suitable for a multi-day stay. The food in the restaurant is very tasty, freshly prepared, and reasonably priced. The breakfast offered is also adequate and the price is acceptable.

17/07/2026: Italian dishes are delicious; good cook. Pleasant service and pleasantly busy. The apartment is spacious, clean, and well-equipped, but unfortunately, you won't sleep well if you are sensitive. A train regularly runs over the adjacent track. And the smoke from the oven can still be smelled late into the night if you keep the room window open.

06/08/2026: I have bought chicken/fish fillet with fries a few times, the prices are going up and the portions especially the fries are getting smaller and smaller. I am considering trying another place in town

01/08/2026: I went there for coffee. The food was visually very well-prepared, there were a lot of customers, plenty of greens, aesthetically pleasing, hygienic preparation, and very friendly service.

12/08/2026: Delicious sandwiches. Fresh coffee is made while you wait. The atmosphere is less appealing because it is connected to a supermarket. A bit noisy. Otherwise... absolutely fine.
