25/07/2026: Always delicious food, lots of delicious draft beers, and drinks. Could be better red wines. Otherwise super delicious and cozy place both inside and out. Especially the open sandwiches and pork roast sandwiches that they have on Fridays for lunch. A place where they also have various cozy music events. Highly recommended from here and come there often.

05/08/2026: Highly recommended! The food is truly exceptional! The Parisian-style minced steak came with red onions, horseradish, capers, vegetables, and egg yolk – a perfectly balanced combination! The children's portions are very generous. Dessert is also incredibly delicious! The house and garden are lovely, and you feel very comfortable there! Reservations are advisable!
Unfortunately, there are very few restaurants in the area; Helnæs Kro is a real hidden gem!

13/08/2026: We were passing through Vissenbjerg and just ended up here. We had an unexpectedly good meal and the staff was very friendly. The pizzas were tasty, and the steak and fries with spicy sauce were also very delicious. You can either get takeout or eat there. It was also very busy with people coming to pick up and eat, and that for a Wednesday evening.
28/07/2026: Good pizzas at really good prices. Really good service and management. Definitely worth a (re)visit.

10/08/2026: The pizzas were sitting right in the cupboard, one was a summer pizza, a nice change, the other was a Mexican pizza with enough strength so everyone could join in, we got a classic beer to go with it. All in all, a fantastic experience.

23/08/2026: Really nice bakery that sells incredibly delicious bread. I bought 8 grandpa buns and 2 Copenhagen birkes and everything was really delicious. The service was also top notch. I was served by someone new to the job, but she did it both quickly and with a smile and you are greeted with a Good morning when you enter the store. A really good experience.

23/07/2026: Centrally located in the pedestrian zone of Assens, the service is very friendly and the atmosphere is lovely both inside and in the outdoor area/courtyard. Unfortunately, the food is mediocre at best. The Caesar salad was practically drowning in mayonnaise.
