De bedste restauranter i Assens

20/08/2026: Lovely spot by the water, informal & cozy; Hygge!

15/08/2026: Great venue for a smaller wedding party or other event, with a nice terrace and big garden, really good food and friendly, helpful staff.

05/08/2026: Highly recommended! The food is truly exceptional! The Parisian-style minced steak came with red onions, horseradish, capers, vegetables, and egg yolk – a perfectly balanced combination! The children's portions are very generous. Dessert is also incredibly delicious! The house and garden are lovely, and you feel very comfortable there! Reservations are advisable! Unfortunately, there are very few restaurants in the area; Helnæs Kro is a real hidden gem!

05/08/2026: It's simply a fantastic place, super cozy, few but very good dishes. There's nothing better than Helnæs Kro!

23/09/2026: I ordered 5 large pizzas and a kids pizza for my birthday, where I had my family visiting 🍕❤️ And I have to say that it was a really good choice! The pizzas were fresh, hot and really delicious, and there was plenty of food for both children and adults. Everyone was happy and full. It really means a lot when you celebrate a birthday that the food just plays – and this one did! 😍 Thank you for the delicious food and good service. We will definitely order from here again next time 🍕❤️

17/09/2026: Food was very nice and the waiter was really friendly. It's a very home-like feeling in the restaurant. We came from Slovenia 🇸🇮 and we really liked it here. Recommended! 🫶🏻

28/08/2026: Delicious food, good music but sluggish service with no focus on whether it's busy or not ☹️ They need an "adult" to manage

31/07/2026: Delicious and cozy lunch in the tavern for the whole family. Both children and adults loved the food.

08/10/2026: Super bread in a welcoming bakery, always worth a visit, highly recommended 👌

23/08/2026: Really nice bakery that sells incredibly delicious bread. I bought 8 grandpa buns and 2 Copenhagen birkes and everything was really delicious. The service was also top notch. I was served by someone new to the job, but she did it both quickly and with a smile and you are greeted with a Good morning when you enter the store. A really good experience.

23/07/2026: Cozy place and good service and lovely sandwiches, we came across it by chance, but can highly recommend the place 👍

19/07/2026: We had some different cakes and a cup of coffee in the cafe. Really nice

03/10/2026: It was fun to cook your own steak on a 400 degree hot stone. The side dishes were a bit mediocre though.

13/09/2026: Really cozy place, with a good tavern atmosphere. We expected it to be a steakhouse of some kind, but it turned out that we had to cook our steaks at the table, on the very hot stone that was brought to us on the plate. The steaks were really tender, and it was a fun experience to cook them yourself, even though I was a little skeptical about the concept when I first saw it. I would have liked to have had more vegetables. Their appetizers also tasted good. We didn't try the desserts. We came on a Saturday, and it's a really good idea to book a table, as it fills up quickly. You have to go down a fairly steep staircase to get to the toilet, so you don't have to have walking difficulties to get there. There is plenty of free parking close to the restaurant.

24/10/2026: One of the best pizzas I've had in a long time, and I even picked them up late🙏

02/10/2026: Excellent food, served quickly. Friendly service.

04/01/2026: Nice and get something to eat and good service

25/12/2025: Came in and paid for TWO chicken skewers and a sausage roll. Came out with ONE chicken skewer and a cold sausage roll

02/10/2026: Lovely place, beautiful premises

09/08/2026: As usual very good food and good service big thanks to the staff and the chef

31/07/2026: Nice and service minded woman preparing the food. Good prices and good food.

25/07/2026: Beautiful bakery but large and delicious selection.. The young girls were a little lethargic, maybe it was just the heat, but a smiling service and a little voice make a difference 🫣

14/07/2026: Their lemon moon is really delicious and I had the best brownie 🥰✌️

08/09/2026: Amazing food Very kind service, I had phad thai with shrimps which was amazingggggg. Really reccomended.
