05/08/2026: Highly recommended! The food is truly exceptional! The Parisian-style minced steak came with red onions, horseradish, capers, vegetables, and egg yolk – a perfectly balanced combination! The children's portions are very generous. Dessert is also incredibly delicious! The house and garden are lovely, and you feel very comfortable there! Reservations are advisable!
Unfortunately, there are very few restaurants in the area; Helnæs Kro is a real hidden gem!

23/09/2026: I ordered 5 large pizzas and a kids pizza for my birthday, where I had my family visiting 🍕❤️ And I have to say that it was a really good choice!
The pizzas were fresh, hot and really delicious, and there was plenty of food for both children and adults. Everyone was happy and full.
It really means a lot when you celebrate a birthday that the food just plays – and this one did! 😍
Thank you for the delicious food and good service. We will definitely order from here again next time 🍕❤️

23/08/2026: Really nice bakery that sells incredibly delicious bread. I bought 8 grandpa buns and 2 Copenhagen birkes and everything was really delicious. The service was also top notch. I was served by someone new to the job, but she did it both quickly and with a smile and you are greeted with a Good morning when you enter the store. A really good experience.

06/09/2026: We visited it after checking high ratings but I got kind of disappointed. Pizza I got was overcooked, almost impossible to cut by knife and fork. The ingredients were also strange such as they put potato in diavolo pizza and it was first time i encountered something like this.
Talking about positive sides, atmosphere is really cozy + staff is friendly. However, it is not worth to visit considering food quality vs pricing.

23/07/2026: Centrally located in the pedestrian zone of Assens, the service is very friendly and the atmosphere is lovely both inside and in the outdoor area/courtyard. Unfortunately, the food is mediocre at best. The Caesar salad was practically drowning in mayonnaise.

10/08/2026: I really like this place! 😊 I’ve ordered quite a few different things here, mostly for takeaway, and I’ve been happy every time.
The pizza is really good, the durum is great too, and the salads, especially the Greek-style one, are fresh and tasty. They also have a good selection of drinks.
Overall, I’m always satisfied whenever I order from here. Definitely recommend! 👍

21/06/2026: The food is as always delicious and beautifully presented and everyone can be more than full. We had tapas for the second time and were definitely not disappointed.
