21/11/2025: We had mussels and schnitzel yesterday, absolutely fantastic, every penny was well spent. The whole atmosphere was lovely and cozy.

11/08/2025: A welcoming, family-friendly place in one of Denmark's most charming villages. A few dishes, carefully prepared and served: a couple of meat options and a couple of fish options, always accompanied by generous side dishes and tasty sauces. The vegetarian risotto was a pleasant surprise: creamy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The desserts aren't unforgettable, the wine list is decent, and the price is more than fair. Recommended.

08/11/2025: We've been coming to Fanø for over 32 years, and our journey always includes a visit to Stoppestedet! Ownership has changed, renovations have taken place, but the fantastic quality of the food has remained constant throughout! Even though the menu has become smaller over time, it's always worth a visit! 👍 And the soft-serve ice cream is the best on the island! 🤩

06/11/2025: We regularly visit Stoppestedet on vacation and have always been very satisfied – good food, a cozy atmosphere, and friendly service. However, we were a bit disappointed on our last visit. The portion was significantly smaller than the day before, even though the price remained the same. When we politely mentioned this, we were told that it was "luck" that the portion had been larger yesterday. Frankly, we found this disappointing – you don't expect that kind of response when you're a regular customer. A few more fries and a bit more onion would have been enough to make up for the difference – it certainly wouldn't have been much effort, but it would have left us happy. It's a shame, because we generally really enjoy eating here. We hope that next time it will be as good as it used to be – then it will definitely be five stars again.

26/12/2025: An absolute must-visit when in Sønderho: a wide variety of shakes, sandwiches, and other delicious treats. Even under the busiest conditions, the staff are exceptionally friendly and cheerful. Prices are reasonable, and card payments are accepted without any problems. In summer, be sure to try the iced coffee. The sandwiches are also highly recommended.

18/12/2025: I'm thrilled with the "warm Hyldeblomstsaft" (a type of sweet rum). The boutique next door is definitely worth a visit (sweets, rum, hygge decor).

29/08/2025: What a treat...both the starter and the main course. I've rarely eaten such good pizzas. My burger with a 200g Angus patty was also a true treat. The friendly service rounded off the visit. We'll definitely be back. Dinner there again a year later...what can I say...still just as delicious, still just as nice and friendly staff. 01/01/2026: The food is delicious, but if you want to eat in, you either have no chance or you have to wait two hours. It's a shame; we've been there a few times, but the service has been declining repeatedly. They seem inexplicably overwhelmed, which is a pity because it's actually a really nice place.

16/10/2025: A really nice café in the heart of Sønderho. On a nice day, you can sit on the outdoor terrace and enjoy a beer. Daily specials are available until 3:00 PM. The food is extremely delicious and beautifully presented. The price-performance ratio is good. They offer a small menu with meat/fish and vegetarian dishes. The burger is obviously particularly popular. I had fish with a delicious sauce. Would you like to? The service staff are very friendly and accommodating. We felt very comfortable and can recommend this café/restaurant without reservation.

03/09/2025: The best place on the island! I arrived there after a heavy rain, and not only did the temperature warm me up, but it also had a homey atmosphere. It's a café, pub, art gallery, patio with a garden, and a shop all in one building. A great place for a getaway after a tiring cruise or a long walk around the island. Inspiring interiors, board games, a restroom with a wet bar – everyone will find a cozy spot to relax :) The café is only open until 4 PM, but the bartender, a sailor, serves an equally delicious coffee in the pub. I highly recommend it!

18/09/2025: Very friendly staff and, as every year, the best cake. Highly recommend the rhubarb cake and carrot cake! The coffee is also delicious.

12/09/2025: The coffee shop looks very inviting, and after the friendly greeting upon entering, you immediately feel at home! Everyone is very friendly and accommodating, which makes the visit feel very hygge (cozy and cozy)! You can sit comfortably both inside and outside! Dogs are also very welcome here! There was a water bowl and they even served a few treats for your four-legged friend! Truly fantastic! The cortado coffee and cappuccino were excellent, and the homemade cake was delicious! I highly recommend it!

23/09/2025: A great place for delicious, healthy smoothies and freshly squeezed juices of your choice. We had juices that were freshly prepared in front of us by friends, and we could also decide what to put in and how much 🙂. They also have traditional Danish hot dogs and ice cream, as well as pastries and all kinds of snacks! The owner is super nice, and the juice was great!
