28/03/2024: I will give this a 3 star for many reasons, but mainly as the meat which was ordered as medium, was in any cuisine, I consider rare, as you will see from the photo.
The staff when arriving were initially very stand off which a lot of reviews have said. This brings the review lower as they are borderline rude to be honest and you do not feel valued when walking in. This also meant we did not tip.
The food was generally good though (as long as you don't mind pink beef!) and I could recommend it as a tasty meal, although the wine is very expensive for the quality, so stick with water or a cheap wine, as ours was a cheap supermarket wine taste (although costing over 30 euro a bottle).

29/12/2023: Delicious sandwiches. I think their lemongrass beef is the best. They could have the roast pork Christmas sandwich all year round, it's damn good too.

09/04/2024: Unfortunately, it is too rare that they hold these events with "roasted eel ad libitum", or for that matter other of their good events.
It is "really good" food that is served at the Golden Rooster. When you spice it up with the cozy inn atmosphere. Then it's just a pleasure to frequent this place..👌🏼👌🏼

02/04/2024: Ate at this small and incredibly cozy restaurant in Kolding.
The food tasted lovely, really tasty, delicious bruschetta with tomato, among other things.
The service was top notch, restless sweet and accommodating waiter who is also the owner of the place.
The restaurant is small, it is run by a young Italian couple. The man stands in the kitchen and she serves.
Just before you think you are in Italy, the atmosphere and the food, at least there is 🍕 🇮🇹😊
30/03/2024: An amazing, authentic Italian place that serves deliciously crafted pizzas, inviting for more with every bite, brought to the table by a lovely Italian lady with a smile. A truly lovely place that I can wholeheartedly recommend. Thank you very much, and congratulations on your opening!

26/01/2024: Ordered smørrebrød online, was a little unsure if the order had gone through, called the store to see if they wanted to check, it took 5 seconds, then there was an answer, everything is ok, I hardly need to say that their smørrebrød, that was simply delicious, and ready at the agreed time, that's top marks from here.

We got small selected fish delicacies as share food for the starter "Taste of Skagen" and respectively baked salmon with pearl barley and side dishes and roasted halibut with pasta. In addition, fresh Riesling white wine. It can absolutely be recommended
17/03/2024: Cozy place with good and relaxed atmosphere. Great service from Anna. Good drinks. The lobster bisque was delicious, but the main course lacked flavor.
