10/08/2025: Impossibly cosy restaurant right by the beach in lovely Nyborg Strand. The restaurant is always busy which can make one feel a little invisible, but one is always certain that the staff is doing their best to make you feel good running from table to table. Portions are on the small side, even for a gourmet restaurant. Some dishes and part of dishes did not present themselves the best way. Expressing this to the staff did not lead to any accommodations. Excellent cheese trolley. Extensive wine list, though quite pricey. The air quality in the restaurant should be a focus area.

21/07/2025: We called in for lunch as we were passing after a walk around the marina. The restaurant is in a prime location. We had to wait a short time for a table but the lady running the restaurant (alone) worked extremely hard and was very customer focussed.
The food is cafe style and very well executed - very generous portions served hot. Just what we needed. Very good.
22/06/2025: A lovely little cozy cafe, right by the water.
If you want to sit and enjoy a cheap bite to eat, top quality, this is where you should go.
Super delicious and fresh ingredients, they don't skimp on salmon or shrimp (if you're into that), the food tastes good and the service is top notch.
There's also good entertainment with the seagulls 😂
Definitely a place we'll come back to 🙌

01/08/2025: All in all, a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was fantastic and the food was even better. I have never experienced such a welcoming restaurant manager, or such a good atmosphere throughout the service. I had the lobster and hake, and they are the best two dishes I have had anywhere. The wine recommendations were absolutely solid and supported the food well. I cannot recommend this place enough.

17/08/2025: The place is a bit worn, but the service is good. However, it was clear that it was busy and that in addition to the guests who eat in the restaurant, take-away customers also had to be served.
Get the windows cleaned, pull the weeds outside and generally spend a little time on the final finishing touches - that makes a difference.
The food was okay, even though I probably don't completely agree with the chef on what medium-done is.😊
Would I eat there again? Yes, maybe - but next time I'm in Nyborg it will probably be one of the other nice places that we visit.
15/08/2025: A great place to eat in this pretty little Danish town. The hamburgers are delicious and well-served.
Fresh, high-quality ingredients.
Attentive service, but it can quickly become overwhelmed if the restaurant is full.
This shouldn't deter you from going. I recommend a stroll near the harbor to extend your visit.

The portion is fine, good with carrots and cabbage and a lot of oil, but unfortunately does not taste like authentic food, as the place advertises. The dish lacks so much to be a no. 4.
Ok fried noodles with vegetables, but not much more than that.

27/06/2025: Fantastisk sted og mad - fik en 7 retters menu med vine terroir
Maden var til 5 stjerner , men desværre en vinmenu, hvor der langt fra blev flydt op i glassene
Og med lange stunder uden noget i glasset og når man fik, var det ikke mange cl i glasset.
Mere opmærksomhed fra personalet
02/06/2025: Hvilken aften - Dette er mad på højeste plan. Vi blev simpelthen blæst bagover af den ene fantastiske ret efter anden. Alle retter var nøje gennemtænkt på alt fra smag til det visuelle og alle vine er nøje afstemt så det passer til den enkelte ret. Et lille sted, der ikke gør meget ud af sig. Man skal vide hvad man går efter.
Der blevet taget fint hånd om allergier eller andre elementer der ønskes undgået, og personalet vidste straks, hvem der skulle have hvad.
Det eneste lille pip, var der måske lige var i underkanten af vin i glasset, når det skulle holde til mellem retterne og under den ret den var tiltænkt.
Portionsstørrelserne er også lige i overkanten, når man får 7 retter plus det løse - men det er et "luksusproblem"

Kings Running Sushi & Wok

12/09/2025: Fresh and very tasty sushi! You get that here! I have been disappointed at many well-known large sushi chain restaurants. Most recently at the legendary sticks &.... over in North Zealand where I live daily. Here in Nyborg at King's I finally find sushi that tastes of something! Lovely! The secret lies in the taste of the sushi rice itself and the balance between base fillings such as avocado, rice and fish. King's in Nyborg is highly recommended. If you are coming from, for example, Copenhagen and are going to visit family in Nyborg or the surrounding area like me, then order on the website before you drive away and then pick up freshly made sushi in Nyborg when you arrive at the ordered time. Worked perfectly. We were very full and happy afterwards. (We got uramaki and hosomaki, ..no tempura, as we prefer the freshest taste of sushi.)
11/08/2025: Simply outrageous!
We went to the restaurant with our dog. There was plenty of room, but then they told us the chef was allergic to dogs. We then explained that we had a dog with allergies (Doodle). They then said it still wasn't possible. Why not just say so? I respect that dogs aren't allowed, but why not just say so and then we move on...

24/03/2025: Vi havde besluttet at prøve menuen, En aften på Remisen, hvilket helt bestemt kan anbefales.
Hver eneste ret var en smuk kreation, hvor både smag og præsentation var helt i top. Vinmenuen var nøje udvalgt, så det passede til hver eneste ret.
Tjeneren var engageret og opmærksom og delte sin viden om både vinen og maden på en fin måde. Og sørgede for at vi havde vand på bordet.
Alt var perfekt.

25/07/2025: Better brownie than the one in Faaborg 3 weeks ago... the sugar wasn't in dry lumps and the bread was soft and delicious. However, I stood for 3-5 minutes in a gaping empty shop waiting for service, when she finally showed up there was not a smile to be seen.
