De bedste restauranter i Tønder

01/09/2025: A spontaneous car trip ended at Højer sluice on a Saturday afternoon, hungry for a light meal, we sat down at a table outside. When we went in to order we were greeted by a sign saying there was a party. When we went to the cashier we could see that the only thing we could order was Fish & Chips, so we grabbed that. After 40 minutes I go in and ask for the food, after a little back and forth, I am told that it has been forgotten and not in the process of being made. After which I ask if I would like to cancel the order and ask for my money back. It could not be done, as there was no money in the cashier, nor could I get it back on the card. After a little back and forth, she took the jar with the tips and scraped the money together and after some time, she gave it to me. When counting, there had been an error and I was a little short of getting the full amount back. Out of 3 toilets, 1 worked, which meant that guests stood in line and wondered about the locked toilets All good about Company or not, BUT guests who come spontaneously on a summer day should also be served with respect and a larger selection, or close on the weekend if you have company and can't "loose" customers. The money was spent on a restaurant in Tønder instead, where we had some food and a nice time in the lovely summer weather that day 👏🏻

08/08/2025: It was such a nice pizza and sandwiches. The service was just great. The young man was just so sweet and friendly. We will definitely come again

07/10/2025: Not the best experience ever. 12 minutes from order to payment 🤔🤔 28 minutes from payment to delivery so 40 minutes in total for 2 burgers that's too long and they were also only lukewarm

04/10/2025: Couldn't get my menu the way I wanted it and waited 15 minutes and had to go in and ask if they had even started on it. Poor service.

13/08/2025: Really nice surroundings and really nice Hotel. Incredibly delicious food. However, rooms could be better. It should be reviewed, as our room unfortunately seemed to have been unused for some time! Of course we could have been wrong. A little bit of practice there, but then the reception was fantastic and big praise to the young girl - extremely professional 😊👌☀️🤗

04/08/2025: I have just celebrated my birthday at Hostrups Hotel to ensure the perfect setting for my party and the most fantastic experience for my guests, and hold on, what an evening. It all just worked. The food was outstanding, really tasty, beautifully presented on the plate so it was both a fantastic taste experience and a feast for the eyes. The staff were sweet, smiling and attentive. Hostrups Hotel I get my absolute highest recommendation, what a place in beautiful Tønder ♥️

11/07/2025: Food and service always top notch. Terrible acoustics, you can't hear each other.

14/08/2025: Large selection at the buffet. Very tasty. Great soft-serve ice cream included in the buffet. Friendly service. Good price.

30/07/2025: We were 2 adults and 2 children (9 and 11). When we had to pay we had to pay for 3 adults, as children are considered adults from 10 years old. I don't think that's entirely okay. The food is already on the expensive side. We've been a few times before, where we're sure we paid for 2 adults and 2 children, and they say the food they have is delicious. It's not a large selection, which is a bit of a bummer. But what it is, is delicious. It's usually a good experience coming here. But today's experience is a bit disappointing, as I definitely don't think children from 10 years old should pay as adults.

06/06/2025: Why stay open when they don't bother to cook for the few customers who might bother to come into the store. Black bread. Ready-made steaks in the microwave. And bacon is apparently served raw in Bredebro

21/09/2025: NOT IMPRESSIVE BREAKFAST BUFFET NICE ROOMS RELATIVELY EXPENSIVE ROOMS My wife and I stayed here in SEP in order to watch the “Sort sol” display of birds. We had a reservation through booking.com. The check-in was a bit slow - but ok. The breakfast was served 8-10, so no chance of an early breakfast. The main building is locked during the night and opens when breakfast is served. The rooms are ok in the building where room numbers are 300-series. The breakfast buffet drives the over all 1-star rating. It looks like it reuses food from day to day. For instance the Brie cheese (And all the other cheeses you cut with a knife) was a repeat from the day before. Same with some of the bread loaf. And in Denmark it is against the law to re-serve food from a buffet due to health risks. The area around the pancake machine is dirty. They ran out of clean coffee cups. One of the yoghurts was out of date. The breakfast buffet area is extremely small when taking into account the large number of guests dining there. The staff is VERY slow to clean tables, and they do not change a table cloth between customers when customers have spilled on the table cloth. So… it is ok to stay here - if you want to pay overprice, but I would definitely dine somewhere else.

16/09/2025: Rooms are average at best. Outdated bathroom. But most importantly avoid the restaurant! Mediocre food that was prepared in the morning and heated (some was lukewarm). No choice. Only one set menu which reminds me of hospital food.

01/09/2025: 45 kr for a tray of fries, where we then ask for ketchup, where they demand extra payment 😡 this will not be where we buy food in the future.

31/08/2025: I waited 1.5 hours for my food and nothing happened until we tried to pay for our drinks to leave. Suddenly the food was ready. I tried several times to order beers but the waiters were too busy looking at their phones to help. After a long wait we had to argue with what I assume was the owner who instead of apologizing for the long wait tried to explain that they were too busy. I think you should only accept as many guests as you can handle. The food was actually excellent but the long wait and the poor service unfortunately only give it one star.

30/08/2025: The restaurant is supposed to be Italian and serve real Italian pizza, but the experience was unfortunately a big disappointment. The pizza did not resemble Italian pizza at all - more like cheap, mass-produced pizza. I ordered a Margherita and it was really bad: The crust was hard as a rock and almost impossible to eat. The taste was unbalanced and far from what you associate with Italian pizza. Even the salami pizza did not live up to expectations. All in all, a very bad experience and I cannot recommend the place to anyone looking for real Italian pizza.
