23/03/2024: Almost 1 year ago we got "English steak" from the Central hotel in Løgumkloster. It was bland and had nothing to do with English steak. Meat that was supposed to be beef tenderloin that was cut into small flat steaks that you would make into pork tenderloin ala creme. We called and expressed our opinion and, for a price, received proof of a new round of English steak. Which we wanted to use today. This is what we get to take home. Once again, you have completely smashed the beef tenderloin into 3 small slices of meat.. Which is then completely cooked through. I was the lucky winner of 2 pieces from the tenderloin head where you hadn't taken the time to remove the tendons that are sitting in... How can it be so difficult to cut a single 200g steak from a beef tenderloin, fry it medium rare (for takeaway) so that people get a medium fried steak when they get home and unwrap it.. 🙄 This is not English steak just because there is brown gravy and "soft" onions to... It doesn't matter which raw material you use if the chef destroys it due to his ignorance. The only positive I have to say is the steak sandwich is good, but it's not rocket science to make either. 14/02/2024: A small but cozy bakery that bakes everything as you know it. Good craftsmanship and cute little shop. However, it's a bit of a shame that there isn't more evidence that they are there. The only thing that indicates that they are a baker is the golden baker's pretzels in the glass in the window. Missing any facade or signage that shows they are proud bakers. Really good prices, even if you are used to city prices. Other than that, no complaints. Really delicious bread and really nice cake man they made for my birthday.

24/01/2024: This is one of the cutest bakeries I've ever seen! Insanely good cookies and small pastries. The bread was also great. Attention: If you don't know a word of Danish, you should learn some vocabulary beforehand :). But the saleswoman is incredibly friendly.

11/01/2024: Sunset Boulevard is a restaurant where you can order and pick up your order (no dine in). They have various options for burgers and sides. Would highly recommend their chicken burger and cheese pops on the side. Milkshake? Not so much, I took a vanilla milkshake on the side without whip cream and my large cup was practically half. If you love whip cream then it’s great but if you don’t, skip it. Good place overall 👍🏽

21/10/2023: If you think of Italians when you think of pizza and pasta, you've come to the wrong place. No Italians work here. At least the staff was friendly, the atmosphere was more like a snack bar and the food was unfortunately a disappointment. I had the worst baked potato of my life. When you order, you think of delicious Kumpir with grilled chicken breast, fresh salad... and you get a potato warmed up in the microwave (soft skin, not like it comes from the oven) with a dollop of ice-cold "meat salad" on top (chicken meat in curry mayo from the fridge) - that's not possible. The rest of the family had pizza. It was better, but had nothing to do with a good pizza, more like frozen food standard. Rarely have I eaten so badly in my life. What a shame!

21/10/2023: Really highly recommended. It's a shame that he doesn't seem to get enough attention at the end of the stroll. So feel free to stroll to the end and enjoy this delicious pasta. And for the little ones, fries and nuggets were also delicious 😋 according to feedback.

28/11/2023: They get 5 stars for their dish of the day, roast pork with parsley sauce, DKK 89. Really cozy and sweet service, just a nice old-fashioned inn.

11/11/2023: Food great, service nice. Mortensaften was okay, duck was good, everything was good. Friends were thrilled.

29/03/2024: We enjoyed very tasty espresso and chai latte here and ate unique, handmade cinnamon rolls. The owners are super nice. The café space is small, simple and (therefore) very cozy.

25/03/2024: Incredibly nice atmosphere, delicious cinnamon rolls and coffee. Anyone interested can find relevant literature and posters there. There are also pleasant conversations with the café operators!

01/10/2023: If you're in the area, a visit to "Mormors lille Café" is a must! Located in the idyllic village street of Møgeltønder, which is worth a visit anyway, Mormor offers wonderful homemade cakes that will make any cake lover's heart beat faster. We've been taking a break there for years and letting ourselves be pampered in this rustic, hygge atmosphere.
