26/04/2025: The 2 stars are given for a super nice location, in the middle of the square with lots of sun and a sweet service. Unfortunately the food was nothing special, nor does it always have to be as long as the price reflects this. But unfortunately that is not the case here. We were 4 guys who were going to have lunch, 3 of us ordered a "Sommerplatte", for DKK 164. the last one a shooting star for DKK 159. The summer plate consisted of a small meatball of between 30 and 60 grams. A handful of salad mix, chicken salad with diced chicken, 2 asparagus in a slice of bacon and a small dollop of potato salad. Add 4 quarter pieces of rye bread. The shooting star was on toast without any kind of butter or similar. No dressing, no "caviar". We also got 4 Aparol spritz, they were good.

17/11/2024: Attended the selection of Elanor Shanly in the "hall of fame" at Hagges on Saturday 16.11.24. A warm, humorous and personal experience. Intimately and above all, E.S had her siblings, close friends and Irish close friend Kathe Jones on stage. Among the performers was also a wonderful band, with Helene Blume and a super violinist and guitarist. Everything went up into a larger unit

05/05/2025: On the third day of our trip to the Wadden Sea, we explored the area around the town of Hojer, where we were staying. We walked along the walkways above the canals, just inside of the shoreline southward, and took a lunch break at Slusen Hojer, a restaurant located with a casual ambiance and friendly staff. The dishes we ordered, referred to as "pizzas," were refined in taste (one of the dishes consisted of 4 samples with different ingredients) and most pleasing to the eye. We were told by the gregarious proprietor that the recipes had been passed down from her mother.

03/05/2025: Lovely, peaceful spot with views over the open meadows. Clean facilities, great walking paths and a small museum nearby. The restaurant is a real bonus: tasty food and a warm welcome from the friendly owner. Also dog-friendly. We’ll definitely be back to enjoy this place again!

19/05/2025: Nice and tasty burger and good fries - the bun was a little dry, a little double-baked, but I don't know if that was the intention? - there was too little dip for the delicious fries - longer waiting time than expected In a quiet café - sweet and friendly staff

16/05/2025: There is a very large selection of food and drinks, the staff are friendly, and the cafe is beautifully located in the center of the old town.
