got the best halibut sandwich on the entire west coast. super delicious and lovely. super sweet ladies there. . thanks for the food the chef is happy have now been to the island again. and everyday we have been past karin and enjoyed most things on the menu. everything was so delicious and want to highlight all the specialties that we have been served. yum I just say. always worth a visit .. thank you for being such a smiling and warm person. . you feel more than welcome with you ... until we see you again on the island

It's a fantastic place Mandø, highly recommended. The seal safari was a huge success and a good storyteller in Poul Erik. A wonderful guided tour of the island by someone who has lived and lived life on Mandø. The food in Mandøpiken's cafeteria is also highly recommended, super delicious food.

A great little restaurant to try if you're visiting Mando Island. They use local ingredients like lamb and samphire, and the owner is very friendly and was born on the island (it's her grandparents' farm). (If you take the Mandobussen, don't book a meal with the bus, as it's a tourist trap with a very basic menu of fries and nuggets. I recommend extending your island experience by eating local products.)

Excellent food served on wooden platters, fish/ meat and cheese with 3 different kinds of fresh delicious bread. Local beer. And apple cake or crumble. A lovely place, friendly helpful staff, all in a great setting. Part of a great day out on Mandø island.

06/08/2026: We stopped for ice cream after a visit to a nearby museum, this was done simply because we came across this place without having read any reviews. We were immediately attended by a young lady without any waiting time, guess we were lucky. The ice cream flavors are more limited than what we've seen in other places yet the available choice were more than enough and you'll surely find something to your taste. If you ask for a cone they have them with a lemon or chocolate flavor, ours was the lemon one and it was really yummy.
