Excellent food served on wooden platters, fish/ meat and cheese with 3 different kinds of fresh delicious bread. Local beer. And apple cake or crumble. A lovely place, friendly helpful staff, all in a great setting. Part of a great day out on Mandø island.

We stopped here for lunch during an excursion to the island. The place is really cute and well-kept, the food is delicious (we had a fresh salmon sandwich and a platter of cured meats, cheeses, and fish with sauces), and the staff was very friendly and helpful with information. Definitely worth a try!

A must when you are on Mandø is to experience Mandø girl's cafe, here you get, in my opinion, the best sandwich in Denmark 😋 With it you can, for example, get a really delicious rhubarb juice or a tasty cup of coffee.

A small restaurant, once a farmhouse, owned by the owner's grandparents. The menu is also in easy-to-understand English. Delicious sandwiches made with local produce, and an interesting selection of drinks. We spent about 15 euros each.

06/08/2026: We stopped for ice cream after a visit to a nearby museum, this was done simply because we came across this place without having read any reviews. We were immediately attended by a young lady without any waiting time, guess we were lucky. The ice cream flavors are more limited than what we've seen in other places yet the available choice were more than enough and you'll surely find something to your taste. If you ask for a cone they have them with a lemon or chocolate flavor, ours was the lemon one and it was really yummy.

11/08/2026: The bread is simply delicious and the desserts are amazing. We went there for the first time, and that day we went back for more sweets. Definitely worth a try!
