Hotel Sønderborg Strand Sønderborg

We were there for a post-funeral event, so our contact with the staff was very limited and I was not involved in the planning of where we were going to be, but it must be said to be central and with a good large car park. What we were served was very delicious, sandwiches, pastries and coffee.

Nice clean hotel with large rooms. The room has a long desk, an approx. 1.5 m long bench and 2 comfortable armchairs with a table. Hot water in the shower. The hotel is very centrally located in the middle of Sønderborg town and with a fantastic view over the fjord. The service is generally very friendly and leaves the stay as pleasant. We have been here several times and would love to come again.

We only had one bad thing to report... We had booked a table in the restaurant for 18:00 And we were some of the first to put... At 18:40 I had to get hold of one of the serving staff and tell them that we had now been waiting for 40 minutes. on our appetizer and people who had come AFTER us had both drinks and appetizers !!!!! I got a poor excuse that "something had gone wrong in the kitchen" ... But we were all sitting and had to have the same 3 dishes and others had received the food... So I won't buy it!!! But we got our starter after 45 min....which is not ok !!!! But the food was super delicious!!! and super small portions!!! Not something a grown man could get enough of... If you set up a hot dog cart at the reception, you could find many of the guests there after dinner :-) But otherwise lovely rooms..we had ordered with a view and we got that....The most beautiful view over the water Everything was clean and nice!!! It's not the last time we come there... Then we just have to hope they don't forget us again for dinner.. Otherwise, a better excuse is needed, than the one we got this time....

Everything worked perfectly - good food, nice rooms - even standard rooms. I forgot something in the room and the hotel handled the return to UG, what a service. Very service minded in both reception. bar and restaurant.

A bit too small a portion in the 3-course menu. The food tasted really good. Delicious breakfast with everything that goes with it 😃 The hotel can be recommended

Visited the site in connection with the Human Bodies exhibition. Nice place with good location.

After a year I was a guest in this hotel again, I can recommend my u.s. 100% confirm recommendation! Nice hotel in a great location, right on the beach and in close proximity to Sønderborg Castle and the city center, free parking, friendly service and good breakfast, recommended.

Perfect experience in Superior De Luxe room. Good bed that wasn't too soft, which you all too often experience in other hotels. And well furnished with desk space, sofa and 2 armchairs. Maximum view. Good breakfast and coffee. I'll be back 😁
