Large hotel with a really good location. The food was excellent, but unfortunately there were very few to serve. In the bar we could not be served, and during dinner the main course was served before our wine had arrived. The breakfast was fine and so were the rooms.

Bad mattresses are hard, I had to call in sick for a few days after that I got a pain in my back and couldn't stand or walk for more than 10-15 minutes at a time

Two large adjoining rooms had a grandchild with them. Large bathroom. Nice food could also have individual child-friendly dishes if the child was not happy with the "adult food". Sweet waiters, especially the male ones, told about the food and the wine.

Bad sleep beats good location! The location is extremely good. Located directly in front of the beach, just a few meters from the promenade and the city. The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. But the core competency of a hotel is overnight accommodation and that was bad!

Super good hotel with a really good location closest to the beach and close to everything. There are lots of restaurants, marina, Sønderborg harbour, pedestrian street and center within walking distance. The hotel has nice seating, a large terrace and even a small pool. There is a super good breakfast buffet.

24/09/2024: Great experiance testing new beers and exeptionaly good service. Engaded conversations with the staff. And all around a great evening. Can‘t wait for the next time!
13/09/2024: Fox and Hounds er et hyggeligt sted i Sønderborg. Vi har været der tidligere og fået god betjening. Denne gang var jeg skuffet. Jeg fik en weißbier på fad, som desværre var sur. Tjeneren kunne ikke smage det, men jeg fik en anden uden beregning. Da jeg fik nr. 3, var den også sur. Men jeg ville ikke klage igen. Jeg tror måske ikke hanerne bliver rengjort ofte nok.
