27/10/2024: This review is overdue. I had the immense pleasure of dining with Terra in August of this year. It was an amazing experience. I've travelled around the world and Terra absolutely ranks in my Top 10. Their menu is constantly evolving so I will just say that the food was flavorful and perfectly prepared. The work done by Valerio in the kitchen is outstanding. Lucia is amazing as your guide through the experience and a fantastic sommelier. The wine pairings were each well tailored for the matching dish. We opted for the large pairing which is six pairings, one for each course. Speaking of the pairings do not let the "juice" pairing escape you. Think of it as liquid cuisine. The art of flavor made possible by blender and press. It was a close fight between the wine and juice pairings throughout the meal as to which paired better with each dish. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. It's worth a flight to Copenhagen just for the chance to dine with them again.

30/09/2024: An incredible dining experience in the heart of Copenhagen. The restaurant is cozy with a warm, inviting atmosphere. With only a few tables, the staff can focus on delivering a highly personalized experience, and some dishes are even presented by the chef. Being able to interact with the chef adds a deeper understanding of the process and creates a closer connection to the meal. The menu is entirely fish and vegetable-based, featuring a minimal yet distinctly Nordic style that doesn't compromise on flavor. The celeriac taco is simply divine, and other standout dishes include the perfectly cooked wild seabass, the surprising mackerel with fig leaf oil, and the courgettes with ajo blanco and mint. A special mention goes to the dessert—custard with plum juice and puffed rice, which looks simple but offers an unexpectedly delightful combination of flavors and textures. The wine pairing is also expertly curated, and I appreciated how they sought our feedback on possible variations. An unforgettable experience!

22/11/2024: Delicious food and drinks and great service from friendly staff. Booking in advance is recommended, we are lucky to get a cancellation but had tried on 2 different nights.

20/11/2024: The food was so good that we went there two nights in a row. We had already booked a table at another restaurant for my birthday dinner, but the food at Maples was so good we decided to go there instead. We had the beef tenderloin, and crème brûlée on the first night, and the carpaccio for starter, duck for main, and the chocolate cake on the second night. The service was very good, they were attentive and gave us nice recommendations for wine etc. I also recommend their take on the Old fashioned cocktail- the best we had on our trip to Denmark They deserve more than 5 ⭐️

27/10/2024: Loved this place. We went there on our first night in the city and while there, booked for the next night. The food and service are excellent! Hana was AMAZING. she made the experience for us and the kids so much more special. Our kids are very particular with food and they also loved the food.

19/11/2024: Good hearty brunch, would probably choose lunch dishes another time instead as they looked really delicious! 😍 It's really cozy in there with the plants in the ceilings and just a good vibe 🙂 if you don't know where to eat in the area, here's a good and cozy suggestion 😁

29/10/2024: Selected and eaten a wonderful halloumi wrap with avocado and chilli sauce. The side portion of chips were delightful also.

24/10/2024: “One day I walked down Istedgade after not having been to Vesterbro for over 20 years, and I have to say that the neighborhood has really changed. As I got more and more hungry, I passed a number of lovely little cafes and had a hard time choosing where to eat. But when I got to the Wrap House and saw the long line of Wolt delivery guys waiting to pick up food, I knew this had to be the place. I have since been here countless times and it never disappoints. The food is always fantastic and the service is top notch. Definitely a gem in Vesterbro!”

25/10/2024: If you’re in Nyhavn, you definitely have to check out The Shrimp! This upscale restaurant is super convenient to reach and offers a unique atmosphere. Right when you step inside, you’ll notice it’s tucked away in a garden-like setting, complete with dim lighting that creates a romantic vibe. The decor is thoughtfully designed, and the seating is really comfortable. We decided to try the scallops, and let me tell you, they were a delightful surprise! The presentation was stunning—almost like a piece of art on the plate. The combination of flavors and the sauce was absolutely delicious. While the prices are on the higher side, my friend and I found it to be worth every penny. The entire dining experience was fantastic, from the ambiance to the quality of the food. So, if you’re looking for a memorable meal in a beautiful setting, I highly recommend The Shrimp. It’s perfect for a special occasion or a nice night out. You won’t be disappointed!

03/10/2024: Havde bestilt bord til 8 personer i gid tid, fik bord ovenpå men hvor der allerede sad gæster, så bordet var ikke til at komme til. Fik bestilt vores hovedretter, snacks og drikkevarer. Da vi endelig modtog vores hovedretter, var det meget små portioner som smagte af ingenting!! Vores snacks “forretter” måtte vi gå ned og rykke for efter vi alle havde spist hovedret. Tjeneren lagde ud med at sige at snacks var på vej da hovedretterne blev “serveret” vi måtte vente over en time på det blev serveret, efter vi selv måtte rykke dem for det, og selskabet egentlig ikke havde lyst til at få serveret mere af deres dårlige mad(men vi havde jo betalt på forhånd, hvilket der nok er en bagtanke med) Utrolig dårlig mad, service og betjening af de forskellige retter. Som lokale i området har vi givet café Sirius flere chancer, efter vi startede ud med fantastisk mad og betjening. Dette stopper nu, og yderst pinligt eftersom vi havde inviteret familien med hertil. Ingen var tilfredse og vi kommer ikke igen.
