02/04/2024: Mussels are not fresh, no blue cheese flavor but only salt and cream. Pork ribs tastes the same as pre-cook ribs from supermarket, the only “customized” part is the sauce on the outside. The most bizarre thing is the mash potato - I’m sure it’s made from mash potato powder! real mash potato are not like sand in your mouth. 195kr per dish at this quality, I’d much rather spend the same amount of money elsewhere that serve real potato!

02/04/2024: Very tasty food. Cozy restaurant. We ordered a large bottle of sparkling water. When it was 3/4 empty, it was taken away. We got a new one (when we were leaving). This was on the bill twice! Approached them and said it is for 2 people. That it was completely normal. We call this a scam! Taking away 3/4 of an empty bottle and replacing it with a full one that you didn't ask for is a scam.
01/04/2024: We had dinner here and everything exceeded our expectations - all the food that we had was very good, same for the wine. The atmosphere is nice, good music, not loud at all, and everyone on the staff was very friendly.
As main course, we had the salmon and the chicken parmesan. Both dishes were very good and the presentation was great.
Definitely recommend booking in advance, the place was very popular

Cozy place, but the chairs are not so good. Apart from that, service was only okay, waited quite some time before I could order.
The price might be a bit spicy, but it's also right in the middle of KBH.
4/5 and I'm being generous.

30/03/2024: Had one of our most memorable dinners in Copenhagen here. Foods out of this world, service is top notch and atmosphere is just perfect. One of the best restaurants in Denmark!
15/03/2024: Firstly it’s worth saying that the good here is very good. Not exceptional but good enough. The wine is staggeringly overpriced but it is Copenhagen.
Secondly the waitress was superb. Very attentive charming helpful and friendly.
However there was an almost 45 gap between starter and main course.
Then very annoyingly in retrospect the card machines declined four different payment cards so I had to find an ATM to get cash to pay ( using one of the same cards!). There was no reason at our end why they should have been declined in the first place. The currency conversion charge at the ATM was very steep but I had no choice and consequently the meal probably cost us more than 200DKK extra.

01/04/2024: Great service, waiters come to take an order instead of guests going to the counter. One of a few places which actually have decent space between tables, so it was easy to talk and not hear the others. Delicious banana bread with crispy crunch and nice matcha!
11/03/2024: I give 3 stars for the overall experience.
The food was 5 stars.
The tea was the most boring and tasteless I have ever had in a cafe. A lot is made of coffee in most places, and in some places tea has also come into focus - but not here.
I was served a perfectly prepared lukewarm tea in a glass pot, without being able to see which brand of tea and without being able to decide for myself how long it should steep.
In addition, the acoustics were poor and the staff reserved.
But, as I said, the food tasted really good, so a big round of applause for the food manager from here :-)

02/04/2024: NOT ACTUALLY GLUTEN-FREE!!!
They offer some GF options but then later, you find out they are clueless about cross contamination, don’t handle food separately and include other food items that are not gluten free (spices, sauces etc).
You ask about gluten free and they lie on the phone and to your face! It’s not until you inspect the kitchen and ask again and again, that you yourself have to find out, that the person in your group is severely damaged in their health because of their lies!
Their staffs response “oh you actually have a problem?” Yeah, not everyone is an attention whxxx cruising a fad! People have actually allergies!
12/03/2024: Food really tasty, but way too expensive for German tourists. Costs more than going to a good restaurant nearby.
Sure it's Denmark, but the prices are absurd.

04/02/2024: I was on a wonderful date with my girlfriend on her birthday. We skated around for a little hour and drank hot cocoa with marshmallows over the afternoon. Lovely location right next to the water and great atmosphere😎/😎
29/01/2024: This is a must do. It was lively and reminiscent of the Rideau canal experience in Ottawa only skating rink size.

13/08/2023: Lovely seasonal food and service that went above and beyond.
We had a asparagus starter and a fish main course. We also each enjoyed a glass of wine.
Came to a very reasonable 925, which in light of the quality of cooking was very reasonable also in light of what other places I. The area charge.
The staff very kind, attentive and flexible. We asked for fresh mint tea, which was not available. That is till the other waiter heard of our request and went into the garden and plucked the leaves straight of the plant
Highly recommended.
28/07/2023: Da vi havde ventet i 30 minutter og endnu ikke fået menukortet, valgte vi at forlade stedet. Det var totalt underbemandet og super uprofessionel betjening

28/03/2024: Was at El Meson with my girlfriend on 27-03-2024.
We are quickly received by two friendly and smiling English-speaking waiters and we like the atmosphere... HERE ends the positive!
The red wine for DKK 600 was not only warm but had to ask for an ice bucket with it.
We ordered 2 menu de la casa (your tapas mene) ALL the food was totally tasteless! and the few hot dishes were obviously heated in a microwave oven! The main course was introduced as "you have ordered 2 times meat" uhh goddav what is it? it turned out to be entrecote, fair enough.
Again it tasted of absolutely nothing! I stuck to my main course twice and simply did not want to eat it. When the waiter had to clear the table, he was not asked if it tasted good or if there was something wrong... strange service!
I'm a trained chef and waiter myself and I can't sub fry enough, El Meson's food tasted cheap and like the tongue out of the window!
22/03/2024: I visited the restaurant with some friends and we had been looking forward to ordering paella. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The dish lacked taste, the portion was too small and the majority consisted of rice. After the meal we left the restaurant hungry and had to find a cafe where we ordered sausages to fill up. With a price of DKK 269 per person, the paella was not worth the money.

01/04/2024: Lovely brunch as always 🌸 Ordered a boost for DKK 69, tasted only of orange. I got a new one and it's good service. But, well, it tasted like orange. Eav for 69 kroner.

The service did not take place, the waiters did not really talk to you and answered briefly if you had questions
The food was okay, we waited 45 minutes for 5 dishes and if it takes that long you also have high expectations for the food
American pancakes are not pancakes but a pancake with thawed frozen strawberries on it which is really disgusting
The scrambled eggs were okay lots of flavor
The croissant was probably a buy one and the sourdough bread was super dry
