17/11/2024: How disappointing the food was, I cannot describe...the awful feeling for paying so much for the most boring meal is upsetting. You can get the same or better fries out of a kebab shop. The tartar was SO sad to look at! Not only that, but I paid 145 when the menu said 135. I cannot believe I have spent money on this place - Definitely not coming back. Neither recommend it. The service was nice, but only the girl who sat me down as I walked out and said goodnight to the other staff, he didn't even respond. Rude and impolite guy!

17/08/2024: Fab place to sit and watch boats and people go by. Great vibe. But that said…. 40 kr for a soft drink is insane - and the variety of food on offer is not that great and its as expensive as Reffen.

10/08/2024: Il posto è una normalissima piazzetta con dei food truck, carino ma non tipico. Di danese c’è solo uno stand, tutto il resto è cucina greca, messicana, inglese, etc. Noi abbiamo preso il fish and chips dallo stand Haddock’s e l’abbiamo lasciato lì: fritto nell’olio del motore, “fish” non identificabile e calamari che erano gomma dentro e fuori così secchi da sbriciolarsi in mano. Veramente pessimo. Costato circa €20, per €5-10 in più c’erano tanti posti lungo il Nyhavn sicuramente più tipici e più buoni.

01/12/2024: CAREFUL TOURISTS SCAMMERS!!! We went to this shop to leave our luggage for the day, because it’s a service they offer. The guy from the shop told us that we had to pay 25€ per luggage. 25 EUROS. We of course didn’t leave the luggage, we went to the city information center and the lady told us that the guy clearly was trying to scam us. The price was 25 danish crowns per luggage, not euros. We are sure that the guy didn’t make a mistake because we asked him multiple times is he meant danish crowns, but he was very rude and kept insisting on 25 euros per backpack. Absolutely don’t come here, the are scamming tourists.

01/12/2024: It doesn’t say anywhere online but they have gluten free bagels here! The bread is a bit thin but I had the turkey omelette filling and it was super tasty. I’m not coeliac so not sure if it is coeliac safe but I would guess probably not.

07/11/2024: Good food but perhaps a bit small portions, very helpful staff.

31/10/2024: The food was overpriced and decent. The service was horrible. The atmosphere was very nice.

12/11/2024: It’s a real shame to provide a mediocre rating as it is clear there is hard work and creativity going on in the kitchen but the service from the front of house staff is really below par. When we dined there, we experienced minimal explanation of the tasting menu, dishes being served without cutlery and our wine paring being served late so we couldn’t enjoy the matched wine with the food and it seemed a little mean to not include a small dessert as part of the tasting menu. It felt like the meal came to an abrupt kinda unsatisfying end. The sommelier seemed to be trying pick up some of the slack and actually the best overall service came from the chef who brought one of our dishes to the table, but overall we felt unwelcome and couldn’t really enjoy the food.

10/11/2024: It’s cute but I’m sure it’s more lovely during summer time. It’s quite interesting to eat our culturally daily diet in a restaurant with high prices. But worths to visit!

28/10/2024: Cozy atmosphere and very popular with locals. Difficult to get a table without a reservation. Their Sunday brunch is a check-off menu, where you order individual items from a selection of about 20 options. It is WAY too expensive, and you end up paying DKK 40 for two slices(!) of wheat bread with a single packet of butter, DKK one(!) deep-fried arrancina ball with a dollop of mayo, and DKK 40 for two tablespoons of salmon fillet, which was sour. If you want to get just a little full, you have to go up to mine. 5 things - and plus coffee/tea and juice, you'll wind up over DKK 350...for a bad brunch. Their lunch servings (Burger, Salt, et ) looked more stable. Nice little cafe, excellent in the summer, but they are very busy for the little place

27/12/2023: We were denied service here because we are Black. Waitress first didn’t want to seat us; then reluctantly showed us to table in near-empty restaurant. Without ever giving us menus or flatware, the waitress refused to serve our table. After she waited on other diners who came in after us, we asked the manager for another waiter. The next waitress rolled her eyes at she took our order. We waited 30 minutes without her ever coming back, even as she made multiple visits to every other table in her area. She and other waitstaff served every other patron, including many who came in after us. We eventually left and were given nasty looks as we left. When we asked the manager again, he pretended he couldn’t hear us. While we were standing in front of him. He clearly spoke English and we also spoke Danish, Spanish, French, Italian, Norwegian, and German. Tried all those languages. Nasty place.
