23/10/2024: Very delicious food and wine. The service was top notch. There weren't that many guests as we were there off season but the atmosphere was not bad at all.

20/08/2024: I am amused by the horrified reviews from people who apparently didn't know what they were getting into until beforehand. I mean, the place screams 80s, time warp and old routines. I can easily talk about sourdough pastries from Andersen, Juno, Alice and Hart in Copenhagen, but none of them offer what Thorsen offers; a bit of the old days. The bread should preferably be weighed on a gram scale, smeared with Kærgården butter or 3-star salami and slathered in the corner of the mouth. And the dear baker Thorsen is based on those parameters. When reviewers write about 'Denmark's worst baker', it is because baker Thorsen is probably the last one left of his kind. When Thorsen turns the key, it is a farewell to a simpler time, where everything does not have to be measured and weighed and accounted for. I recommend visiting Bager Thorsen for the total experience of the 80s baker.

08/08/2025: Super cozy courtyard and the most amazing smørrebrød. After many dull fish experiences on Bornholm, it is a gift to stumble upon the kitchen at Grønbechs, where the plaice fillet is breaded in rye flour and fried in butter in a pan🙏🏼 thank you for that🫶🏼 The potato dish was also among the absolute best and my fellow diners praised the piece of egg and shrimp to the stars. Thanks for lunch, we will definitely be back

22/08/2024: A beautiful view of the sparking Baltic Sea and a roomy dining room welcome you! The menu is extensive, offering wonderful diversity and embracing the amazingly excellent offerings of Bornholm & surrounds. The bread is homemade and very good. Service is disappointing. Our new potatoes were almost raw when served - you could not get a fork in them. The ambience is lovely. The food was not.

27/05/2024: Hotellet havde en virkelig flot udsigt, både fra vores værelse og fra restauranten. Vi syntes morgenmaden var fin, med det der skulle være og andre ting. Personalet var meget imødekomne og gjorde hvad de kunne for at vi havde det rart. Værelserne og resten af hotellet var meget rent, f.eks blev stolene og bordet tørret af når vi rejste os fra morgenbordet.Det var et dejligt sted. Jeg tror vi ses.

08/07/2025: The location directly on the Baltic Sea, the spacious pool with two jacuzzis, and the terrace are beautiful and very well-maintained. The service is very friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet is extensive and high-quality. There are ample parking and charging facilities right outside the door. Bicycles can also be stored in a separate room at the hotel.

03/08/2024: Fantastsik hyggeligt sted vi var der og fik vores frokost der fantastisk ribenstegs burger samt bearnaise burger ikke en finger at sætte på kvaliteten Et par dage efter kom vi forbi med hele familien og fik sen froksot deres hotdogs blev prøvet og også disse. Ar rigtigt lækre alt i alt fantastisk service venligt personale og dejmig mad
