28/02/2025: It was ordered via the internet. It says immediate 30 min delivery. But when the order is through, they write 90 min. Calling and asking them where my food will go after 1 hour and 45 minutes. It is only being made. It is delivered over 30 minutes later than promised. Unfortunately, that was also the case last time, so you obviously have to accept that or not order. So over 2 hours after ordering.

28/10/2024: I came by the week after the autumn holidays and was the only guest in the cafe. The woman sitting at a table knitting didn't say hello when I walked in - but it turned out she was the staff. It felt like I was in her way, she wasn't very friendly anyway, so I gave up on eating there and just bought a soda which I drank at a table piled high with cushions from the outdoor dining area.
I put the glass and bottle on the counter when I was done, but got neither a "thank you" for this gesture nor a "by the way" when I wished her a continued good day.
17/10/2024: Really odd and unfriendly experience. Went there as a couple and ordered coffee and tea and cake. After sitting down outside - we were the ONLY customers inside and outside, we opened our computer to discuss a trip. The owner we assumed immediately came out and said very unfriendly that we weren’t allowed to work here. We smiled and laughed and replied that “yes, the weather is too good to work”. But it wasn’t a joke 😱. We left with our coffee, tea and cake in take cups and now they have absolutely no customers in the huge cafe and we are still amazed with unfriendliness.

24/07/2024: we had to try them as you had some very interesting special ice creams..
But hold on, we're disappointed! . We arrived around 8.20 pm on a July evening. They didn't have any of their special ice cream or soft ice cream and several of their Premier ice creams were empty.
I am unfortunately not recommended value..
24/07/2024: Fair enough, the soft ice machine is broken, you can't change that.
But thought the service should be tightened up!
I get better service in net. The woman behind the counter neither talked nor completed the transaction properly.
Bought two ice creams and refused to buy a third when neither of us are spoken to.
I think it's strange you don't say hi or closing have a good day or at least just goodbye, you guys usually provide a better service but this is a low point.
Fair enough, it's high season and it's busy, but I'd say the better the service, the more it makes those of us who live all year come back.
Does it still seem strange that you remove my review on your Facebook page instead of giving an answer, now it's just here instead.

08/10/2024: Im Reiseführer wurde das Café als "Platzhirsch unter den Einkehradressen in Gudhjem" beschrieben. Wir waren nur enttäuscht von den Speisen und dem "Ambiente". Nie wieder!
15/09/2024: Virkelig god og hjertevarm betjening. Vi besøgte stedet for at få en bid morgenmad og blev meget positivt overraskede.
Stedet ser ikke ud af noget særligt når man kigger ind ad vinduerne men betjening og mad overrasker.
Dette er ikke en turistfælde men jeg kan måske godt følge andres anmeldelser i, at det har betydning for oplevelsen, hvem man bliver betjent af.

02/02/2025: I ordered food from them and wanted to have it at home and ordered until 5pm, but the food didn't arrive until 5:45pm and when you try to call them they don't pick up the phone, tried calling them 16 times but without success, then the food came then it was cold

14/02/2025: We were at DONG Fang in the evening, nothing was out of control at all, there were no cutlery or plates for people, the staff did not have control of what they were doing in some ways, all in all a very bad experience

23/08/2024: En dejlig fiskebuffet, som også byder på andet end fisk, f.eks. frikadeller med rødkål, lækkert pålæg. Alt er friskt og veltillavet, og serveres på en indbydende måde. Personalet er meget imødekommende og smilende. Kan varmt anbefales, og vi kommer gerne igen.
23/08/2024: En fantastisk fiske buffet, meget lækker anrettet og smagen var helt i top. Kan varmt anbefales👍Ud af 6 stjerner giver jeg 5,9 👍👍👍👍👍

10/02/2025: Wir haben im Texas spontan Mittag gegessen. Wir haben auch ohne Reservierung einen Platz bekommen und wurden freundlich begrüßt.
Es gab eine gute Auswahl an Vorspeisen, Burgern und Pizza. Der President Burger und Baconcheeseburger sind absolut empfehlenswert. Die Burger waren groß und gut bestückt. Eine Portion Pommes war groß genug um sie sich mit zwei Personen zu teilen. Softdrinks gab es mit „Refill“👍🏻
Alles in allem ein Super Restaurant! Absolut empfehlenswert!
21/09/2024: Het was super super zowel het eten als de bediening ! Wel wat prijzig vooral de drank dan ! De bediening verdient zeker een 10/10!

17/08/2024: Røgeriet har fine produkter. Ekspeditionen i spise afdelingen var af en kvinde der var sur, vrissen, ubehagelig. Vi vil på ingen måde anbefale dette sted til at spise der grundet ekspedienten!
16/08/2024: Vi fik en rejemad og en laksemad. Laksen var noget kedelig og brødet dødsygt. Rejemaden var ok.
Hyggelig placering med god udsigt.
Vi tog noget mad med ud af huset. En rejesalat, som var virkelig dårlig, og som vi måtte kassere. Makrellen var dog virkelig god.
Betjeningen i mad ud af huset var virkelig skidt. Tror hun havde en dårlig dag. Min kone var rystet.
