09/08/2025: Overall, the restaurant was fairly average. Portions were on the small side, making the value for money questionable. The food tasted fine, but nothing memorable.

01/08/2025: Quite an underwhelming experience. Ordered on their website where they advertised a 15% discount, and then found out it was 15kr. cheaper to just order in store or call. The food wasn't impressive either, the onion pieces were gigantic, the vegetables were a bit hairy and the bread tasted like the ones you buy in the freezer.
24/06/2025: Used to make their own bread, Not anymore. Also meat is now a mix of minced meat - not nearly the same quality as previously.

There are good offers between 16 and 20.
The service is sometimes in a very good mood, other times not so much. Some don't give so much as a smile and are very grumpy a lot of the time, while others are really attentive and service minded.

12/08/2025: Stale bread, you have to fight your way through it to get it down. So if you want to train your jaws and get scars and ruin your mouth, well, this is the place.
12/05/2025: I am never disappointed when I go here (and trust me, I go a LOT). The bagels are delicious and filling, the service is fast but nice at the same time and the prices are very good especially with the student discount. Absolutely recommend it!

10/07/2025: Quality food, fast service, and a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere.
This place is also close to the university, making it a great place for a quick lunch during class.
The sandwiches are filled with plenty of toppings, and I'm sure you'll leave Joe and the Juice feeling full.
22/05/2025: Completely indifferent staff. Stood waiting for a long time without one of the 3 employees showing any kind of service and said “we will be there in a moment”. It is food you pay a lot for so some kind of service and friendliness would have been nice. The food tasted really good.

25/06/2025: Some of the best Indian take-away food I've had in Copenhagen.
We discovered the place through a DownTown offer and though Finsensvej is a 10 minute drive away from our home and we have many Indian restaurants closer by, we'll definitely order at Venus Punjab Palace next time we're in the mood for Indian food.
Seeing the pizzas, burgers and pasta on the menu did worry me some. When there are too many different cuisines represented on the menu, the food often disappoints. This was all proven wrong here, but I'm certain that what they excel at here is the Indian dishes.
We had Butter Chicken, Chicken Korma, papadum and garlic naan, and everything was just so fresh and tasty. All the right flavours and spices. Chicken cooked to perfection. The papadums were light and super crispy. The naan was thicker (and bigger) that what we're used to, but soft, fresh, and,very tasty.
The portions are smaller than what you get in other places, but the quality made it worth the price. My only complaint is that we ate too much because it was all so very yummy.

27/07/2025: We went into the restaurant and it was empty. Mastkhiar and mastmusir taste of almost nothing and the restaurant is saving on salt. But the barley soup and doogh were delicious.
Sereshk polo had no smell, no color, no sauce. The chicken had no salt, was somehow undercooked and weirdly chopped. Ghormeh Zabzi was also bad-
Beef instead of lamb, beans were uncooked and the vegetables were limp. Koobideh was boring, Jdudje was a bit too firm and seemed artificially colored.
Worst of all was the Barg, it seemed like leather. I legit chewed it 61 times so I could swallow it. Some of us got stomach aches. Service was nice though.
25/07/2025: The food is average and could be better but better than many Persian restaurants I tried across Europe. So, for that reason a 4. Compared to the original one, this would get a 3 otherwise.

24/02/2025: Dropped by on Saturday 22 February 2024 and overlooked a very small note in the dark on the door, apparently warning that it was closed due to a private event (Christmas lunch).
The old owner often held fun events where everyone was welcome, so I didn't think about it. I went up to the bar but everyone completely ignored me. I tried to signal that I had no idea what was going on, but no one looked my way.
There were between 5-7 people at the bar and apparently no one bothered to let me know, which had resulted in a "unfortunately closed for guests today".
I finally got in touch when I could spot a familiar face who got hold of another, and I could stay for DKK 350. for dinner. But after the prolonged no-contact rejection, I didn't dare to take the chance, even though I'm usually easy to talk to all types of people.
I left the place without anyone noticing (they were still busy ignoring me).
Therefore, I can understand, from what I can read, that Café Francke itself is to blame for the fact that the place is often empty.
Goodbye for this time, because I'm not coming back either.

02/08/2025: I am really disappointed with Lagkagehuset at Falkoner Allé 80. I ordered two marzipan signs with a personal greeting and paid 60 kr. – and as you can see in the picture, they were delivered damaged. It was for a special occasion, and it ruined part of the experience.
This is not the first time I have experienced problems with this store. I have also been given the wrong order in the past. When you shop at a place like Lagkagehuset, you expect high quality and proper service – especially when the prices are what they are.
Unfortunately, I have lost trust in the store. There needs to be significant improvements before I return.
07/07/2025: Just a sad visit, they charge a fee when you shop with a company card.
A coffee for 49dkk is expensive enough I think, but no it costs 50DKK, so I have to pay 2% extra because I use a company card and not a private card. No thanks

30/05/2025: Stop it...why do those young "ladies" work in the service industry when they provide absolutely no service...they only use smiles and good humor internally, as a customer you only get the sour looks...so not a place I want to go to again, nor do I recommend it...you should be ashamed of yourself.
