20/08/2025: I hired Armando’s Gentofte for my birthday party in Hvidovre and I definitely don’t regret it! It went beyond all expectations and my guests were very happy with the food! There was good service right from the planning of the evening a few months ago to the actual execution on the day. Armando came himself and directed his people, two waiters and two chefs who made excellent food. Antipasti for starters, which was super delicious. Then a fantastic rigatoni which was served from a parmesan wheel with a little fire, it was a great experience. Then delicious and tender veal tenderloin with potatoes and vegetables two different sauces. Finally tiramisu of course. Throughout the evening, Armando and his people were nice and friendly and they were always ready to follow the program. For dinner I had ordered a lot of pizzas from the same place in advance, and that also worked well! Thank you very much! See you again one day!

24/08/2025: Absolutely delicious food but oddly paced. Our courses were fantastic but the night ground to a halt at the “champagne and restroom break.” We sat idly for thirty minutes. They had told us we should expect the evening to take three hours, but at this point it was 23:10 (from an 20:00 reservation) and we had four courses to go. We were there til 0030, and that was skipping the cheese cellar presentation and collapsing two of our dessert courses together. Again food was fantastic and everyone was warm, just expect it to take more like five hours than three.

Update/reply: Why didn’t you explain it right there in person? I asked twice if something is wrong but all I got was a short answer “it’s coming”. I am not coming back and I am not removing my review. People should know that this place is not worth the 4.8 score

12/08/2025: The price is probably on the expensive side. I would gladly pay 200kr for their pizza. They have been in Ordrup for over 30 years. That's great! I would recommend the pizza place and always support the local places. They are always the ones that surprise. Even though the competition is high out here. They stand out

20/08/2025: I like to come to Madhus 24 because it is so cozy, and their staff is both very friendly and well trained, so it is always a pleasure to be served. The kitchen is quite fast, so it doesn't take long from ordering to serving. In the summer it is wonderful to sit outside, and it is also really cozy in the winter. Unless you take their delicious take-away. Their draft beer is also often strangely flat, I have asked about it several times, but that is apparently the intention. So I take a Thy Pilsner instead. Otherwise, water is included in the price, which is a rarity these days. However, I think it has become much more expensive in recent years compared to other places I frequent, but the quality is not getting better. It is not a place I recommend to others without a small reservation about the price level. But there is still the best place to eat at the Dyssegårds end of Søborg Hovedgade.
