21/02/2025: I’m a bit speechless when it comes to this place. First things first: The 2 burgers I tasted were awesome - surely top 3 in my whole life. Great taste, amazing combinations. The home made sauces for the fries were like nothing you get anywhere in the supermarket. Now, to the other part. The costumer experience and attention to detail was a whole new lvl. The owner and cook is an amazing person with a beautiful sense of humor - you can see: he loves what he does and cares about the people who visit the Burger-Place. It might sound like a paid review but it’s not - the experience was just that amazing. Thank you again my friend for the attention and good conversations! I hope I’ll see you again soon! 😁🙌🏽

17/02/2025: The best burgers we've ever had! In an attempt to find a good burger, we set off from Amager in the hope that the trip to Klampenborg would be worth it. It was to that extent! We started by ordering a burger each, and after a few mouthfuls we agreed that we definitely had to take another burger home as well. When we had washed down the last bite with their own lemonade (which is absolutely perfect with the food), we could see that just one extra burger would not be enough. Even after a night in the fridge, our 3rd burgers were a delicious breakfast on a Monday morning - lovely way to start the week! It's certainly not the last time we make the trip north :-) It is highly recommended to stop by! Fantastic food, lovely atmosphere and nice people - what's not to like

09/02/2025: I have eaten at Armando's Trattoria in Gentofte several times with the most recent being in May 2004 - and now I have finally remember to leave a review because this place certainly deserves a mention. The food is excellent and the highlight of the menu is the beef rigatoni where the staff typically wheel a cheese wheel to your table and flambe the pasta in the cheese wheel. You must try it! I recommend making a reservation especially if you plan on going during busy periods such as the weekend; I was lucky once when I showed up there with a group of 3 and they had a table available for us almost straight away. Overall, an excellent eatery in Gentofte.

19/02/2025: What an unforgettable experience! The meal was incredibly luxurious, with caviar featured in multiple courses and a focus on seafood. Every bite was packed with rich umami flavors and beautifully prepared. Every dish was a masterful display of tweezer art with an incredible sense of aesthetics. The service was impeccable, smoothly choreographed yet warm and welcoming. The staff made us feel cared for without being overly formal or stiff. The restaurant itself is elegant and minimalistic, with white and golden tones that create a sense of luxury. What made the night even more special were the owners Eric and Tina. They were present throughout the evening, chatting with guests, sharing smiles and giving hugs. It added a refreshing touch of personality and humanity to an otherwise perfectly curated experience. 09/03/2025: Visited in March 2025. I'll start by saying that this may just have been my favourite restaurant visit so far. Not only did the food live up to my expectations, but the service was perfect for me - with just enough attention from the staff, yet without it being overwhelming. We got the tasting menu, which was interesting, and the food was generally very good. Many new Nordic restaurants take "boring" ingredients, such as cod or root vegetables, and make them taste good. The Samuel instead used very strong ingredients and somehow managed to harmonize them into well-balanced dishes, where the tastes complemented each other instead of being overpowering. I found this quite special and very pleasant. Perhaps the most noticeable example was the dish called All good times 3. That was one of my favourite dishes from the menu, together with the scallops and cheese platter. I was the least impressed with the desserts, but that's partly because I'm not a fan of saffron. Another thing I really liked about the food was the manitoba bread served with olive oil picked based on personal taste from a wide available selection. The drinks pairing were great. I'm not a fan of wine myself, so I got a cocktail/mocktail pairing instead, which I was generally very happy with. My favourites were the ginger mojito and the mandarin & bergamot craft soda. I know that The Samuel is known for good wine, but we almost didn't pick it because we were afraid I wouldn't have anything interesting to drink. I would very much recommend to include some more information about the availability of cocktails and especially mocktails on the restaurant's webpage. As I mentioned in the beginning, service was great. All the dishes and drinks were explained nicely and the level of attention from the staff was just perfect for me. The atmosphere was also nice, with cool art and low volume background music. Overall, I enjoyed my visit to The Samuel, and the 3.5 h we spent there just flew by. I can very much recommend the place for a high-end dinner.

03/03/2025: Restaurant Hellerup Sejlklub is a gem. The food is fantastic and the service is always super good. I look forward to visiting them again, especially when the weather permits, so that you can sit outside on their beautiful terrace with the fantastic view. I can highly recommend Restaurant Hellerup Sejlklub.

20/02/2025: The most delicious and rustic Italian sandwich ever made in the vicinity of Hellerup and possibly the universe. Also only 50 kr. Decent size. Nice people.

22/10/2024: Really good pizza with a variety of toppings to choose from. It has an authentic Italian taste and the ingredients seems to be of good quality. I love that they use pancetta and not bacon and also Italian sausage. Besides that you have a nice selection of Italian soft drinks and 3 types of San Bendetto Ice tea, which I really like. I would definetely try the desserts next time I am there.
