13/09/2026: I loved this meal more than I can convey so please excuse the fact that my description can’t possibly encompass it. My husband and I travel often specifically to eat good food and sometimes I wonder if we’ve reached the top most limits of deliciousness in our travels. Our dinner at Jordnær helped remind me that there will always be gems of deliciousness around the world to get excited by. The space is stunning and incredibly elegant with a team that’s professional to complement it. It’s so beautiful and the evening feels special as soon as you walk in. I was only the slightest bit worried that there would be some instances of style of substance with the space and dishes being so beautiful (as can sometimes be the case) but there is no risk of that here. The food is unparalleled and easily one of the best meals I’ve ever had. I won’t break down each dish, especially since it changes of course, but I will just say that everything was scrumptious (unsure if I’ve ever even used that word in earnest before), there were flavor combinations that you’ll never have again and that will unlock something within you, you can tell just how much thought and cleverness went behind the construction of each dish, and of course the quality of ingredients was unbelievable. This meal could be served in an alley on a shady street and it would still be one of my favorite meals from flavor alone. The service was also not stuffy and it’s clear they want you to be comfortable (the music showcases that as well). I felt like we were all in it together. Even with a few very minor hiccups (I almost received a dish that was meant for my husband but they remedied it immediately and were very apologetic), you can’t help but feel totally enchanted here. Meeting Tina and Chef Eric was also a highlight of our evening and our whole trip. They’re just honestly so cool and wonderful to talk to. I will always remember this meal and I cannot wait to go back someday! It’s worth every penny (unless you don’t want to have to dream incessantly about it and miss it until you get to go back at some point).

14/09/2026: Paying extra for tomatoes in sandwiches. But there are no tomatoes at all. Trying to get payment for sandwiches upon pickup, even though they were paid for when ordering. Both sandwiches are disgusting and filled with way too much lettuce. CHEATING AND BAD SERVICE!! Would rather give 0 stars.

30/08/2026: Five star food, five star service and five star price... Too often Michelin star restaurants disappoint, and one leaves thinking "Why do we still do this?" Not with The Samuel. Everything was pretty much impeccable, including great presentation of wines and cheeses, the quality of which is in a category of its own. Thank you to everyone involved for giving our party of six a memorable experience.

13/03/2026: Picked up takeaway for lunch for 17 people. Know the place for its fantastic sandwiches as I have bought here from time to time over many years. First time I tried their Italian buffet and it fully lived up to expectations. If the place was closer to Frederikssund I would be a customer much more often. Super service and instructions for serving.

04/07/2026: We had dinner here one sunny June evening, and it was perfect. We had a stroller, and they seated us at one end, which was great. The food is traditional and delicious. Excellent quality and value. The atmosphere is very pleasant. It's not very touristy; at least, we didn't see any tourists that day.

19/05/2026: Diego, Mille and Philip cooked for 40 guests for our daughter's confirmation, and everything was super delicious. We agreed on the menu with Diego at a pre-meeting in November, and he and Mille came to our home the day before the confirmation to go over the practicalities. Super professional and accommodating. The menu consisted of sausage, ham, cheese and olives as a welcome snack and then three different antipasti, pasta with asparagus and ricotta for a starter, beef tenderloin with side dishes for the main course and profiteroles with strawberries for dessert. Absolutely delicious. We can highly recommend them, and we would love to use them again. And several of our guests took Ca’ Cucina business cards home with them because everyone was excited about the food. Bravissimo!
