27/06/2025: Today my son's student van had a short stop at Sticks'n'Sushi in Hellerup, as we live too far away to keep it at home. The staff really went above and beyond! They had created a wonderful menu, delicious cocktails, chocolate fish and even shots in small takeaway containers – all beautifully and creatively arranged. The 15 minutes we had were something very special – the students were over the moon, and it was an experience we will never forget. If you want to avoid cooking and cleaning up, but still want a festive and memorable time, I can highly recommend Sticks'n'Sushi Hellerup. Simply fantastic!

25/06/2025: If I could give zero for service, I would. An embarrassing, involuntarily funny experience in Hellerup. I love Sticks’n’Sushi. And probably eat either takeaway or in the restaurants once a month. But this Sunday at Sticks in Hellerup, things went wrong. From the time we arrived until 45 minutes later we had neither been greeted by a waiter nor been brought the highchair we had twice looked for and asked for. The outdoor area was not even half full. But the weather was good. Several tables were overflowing with food. We tried again and again to get something to drink and preferably food. We had two small children with us and their patience was soon used up. So was ours. So in the end we just left. Irritated and starving. Maybe it was an off day. But when we left, we talked about how it had happened before. Not quite as glaring. But the same feeling of lack of overview, busyness for no apparent reason and forgetful waiters. Completely unlike the other restaurants in the chain.

09/05/2025: Good for making SoMe, we were very disappointed. We ordered a tasting menu and got a little different. There was not very much food for two people. It was nicely presented, but some of it was also a bit boring in taste. We had quite high expectations, as we had ordered through a Facebook video ad and didn't really look at the price. It's a cheap sushi place with mediocre sushi, nothing worth driving for. The atmosphere was a bit dull and the staff were confused and kept forgetting our order. They forgot our water, our lemonade, our side dishes and then they had to go to the supermarket for some milk as they didn't have the time to make a latte for dessert. We were almost 30 minutes into getting our starter and the same for the main course, the restaurant was not even half full when we arrived. We were very surprised that it was so cheap, but was really or not worth more. On their SoMe advertisement, we had expected significantly higher quality and we actually thought Charlottenlund would be better than the waterfront that was in the advertisement. Now we haven't been to the waterfront but it won't happen either, we'd rather go to their competitors as we know what we're getting. 2.5 stars from here.

11/02/2025: Really nice sushi restaurant. The sushi was fresh and tasty. We ordered a family celebration (just enough for 4 people - not 6 as the restaurant says). However, it was terribly cold in the restaurant, so I had to sit with a jacket on. We were the only ones in the entire restaurant, and the waiter really wanted to go home, as it was of course a bit boring with so few guests, she started cleaning up diligently next to us at 20.15. Perhaps she could have waited a bit with that, so that you could enjoy her company.

17/07/2025: There is bad service, they try to cheat for money. We were 15 people and the birthday offer does not apply even though it is written on the sign on facebook. Not okay they try to cheat. Very hot no air conditioning

17/05/2025: "Food makes you happy." It has been years since I have used the phrase but it is the first thing that came to my mind after eating here. The rich and diverse selection of the antipasti, the fresh hand-made pasta and a chocolate cake to complete the adventure left me speachless and genuinely smiling. Every dish was superb. I Will be definitely coming back as the menu is ever changing and ingredients always fresh.

07/12/2024: Their ice cream is world class, probably the best I've tasted, and I've tasted a lot. But I think it was an unfortunate experience to order their hot cocoa. You imagine since they have a chocolate fountain, and make homemade chocolates and cream buns, that they could figure out how to make a proper hot cocoa milk with whipped cream, but it was a disappointment. Cocoa water with fake whipped cream, pitiful pitiful

06/04/2025: Amazing atmosphere with immersive Indian music playing in the background. The waiter, a young man, had excellent service and manners. The food was delicious: salty and perfectly cooked rice, naan bread was tasty and the lamb spinach was perfectly seasoned with juicy meat. If you like Indian food and a restaurant with a calmer vibe, I highly recommend this.

12/06/2025: Everything is super delicious at Queen Louise's, there's just one thing that's really a shame. When you have a lovely tea house, with lovely food and it's located in the middle of what is probably Denmark's largest dog park, you're not allowed to bring your dog, at least not outside on the terrace. If, as we were told, you're worried about the dogs peeing on the roses, then surely we can just stay inside with the dogs?

17/03/2025: What a pleasant few hours with Afternoon Tea. Beautiful surroundings, no good service. Even my coffee-drinking husband liked the three teas we got.
