10/11/2024: Not open to the public - but always exciting on the first Sunday in November, when Hubertus Jagt is held in Dyrehaven - always a good atmosphere at Magasindammen

23/10/2024: There is nothing wrong with the baked goods, but they are sold at inner-city prices. The "bakery" only opens at 8.30 and although the doors may open earlier, the opening time is kept to the letter. The place is apparently also a kind of market candy store and the lady who runs it doesn't have much left for children, so please leave them at home if you go there.

01/11/2024: Disappointingly, the meatless pizzas are by no means a taste experience. Tasted like nothing.. despite a price of approx. 145.. A female employee, friendly. But been past before, where we asked a little about the pizzas, where a gentleman (presumably one of the owners) coldly just says, "You can see the menu card" - Just one remark like that makes me really angry, and I don't want to support them. Being disinterested in your potential customers.. Yes, what can I say..

19/10/2024: Unfortunately, the quality fluctuates. I have eaten here many times because they make really good pizzas. It's just a shame that it slips once in a while. When the price is as high as it is - and I want to pay that - there is no room for a slip.

31/10/2024: Good cakes and cinnamon bread. Their buns, on the other hand, are boring and their sourdough buns are rubbery. It could be better! Otherwise nice.

24/10/2024: Super delicious bread, but it can take time to be allowed to order if there are many people waiting for coffee in the queue.

10/01/2025: Vi har på vej hjem til Jylland og bestilte takeaway fra Chicago. Virkelig sprøde og lækker pizzaer, vi besøger klart stedet igen og vil nyde pizzaerne på terrassen til sommer

26/12/2024: Chicago laver super lækre og velsmagende pizzaer og man bliver altid taget i mod med et kæmpe smil. Det er klart et besøg værd.

13/02/2025: Min hustru og jeg ville se efter en gave i forretningen og desuden låne toilettet. Vi spurgte ved kassen, om vi måtte låne toilettet og fik at vide, at det kun var for betalende gæster (ikke overraskende :-)) . Min hustru gik på toilettet, mens jeg gik rundt i forretningen. Her fulgte den midaldrende ekspedient efter mig og holdt øje med, hvad jeg kiggede på. Han sagde ikke et ord til mig, og det føltes ubehageligt og unaturligt, at han fulgte efter mig. Jeg forstår, hvis en butiksejer mistænker en for at ville stjæle....men hans fremtoning var nærmest aggressiv og slet ikke en refleksion af min hustrus og min venlige tone. Vi købte gaven og forlod butikken med beslutning om ikke at komme igen. Forhåbentlig kan andre kommende kunder bruge vores oplevelse til at vurdere, om det blot var os, der "så mistænkomme ud", eller om personalet/butikken måske ikke fortjener, at få besøg af betalende kunder.

09/01/2025: Tripadvisor burde ikke have en dårlig anmeldelse som overskrift på nettet men gemme den til selve anmeldelsen. Choff cafe i Gilleleje er en spændende, hyggelig og alsidig cafe med lækre sandwishes og vidunderlige kager. Flinke opmærksomme ældre mænd som ejer stedet. På første sal og overfor cafeen sælges smukke ting til hus og have. I cafeen også vine , marmelade ,chokolade og meget andet. Et i den grad anbefaldiget sted i Gilleleje hvor der måske ikke er så mange steder at vælge imellem. 5 stjerner.
