02/11/2025: Totally approved and tasted very tasty. You were full and it tasted great. If you are in Gilleleje anyway I think you should try it. Budget-friendly and nice prices compared to the amount of food and quality. Fast service got our food in 6-7 minutes which is super fast. Important information: Save your receipt. It has the toilet code on it.

11/08/2025: Nicest place, but we really didn't feel welcome. If we had questions, they were answered as if we were on the other side. We felt like they were happy we went.
And all the coffee is made with oat milk, which is perfectly fine, but maybe something you want to be informed about before ordering. Otherwise, great food.

Costa Smeralda is a really cozy pizzeria, tucked away in a small backyard, where the atmosphere immediately makes you feel welcome. The pizzas are authentic and made in the classic Italian way in a real stone oven, which gives them a crispy bottom and lots of flavor. The ingredients taste fresh and honest, and you can feel that there is love behind each pizza.
A perfect place if you want to experience a real Italian atmosphere and a really good pizza experience

The pizza tasted amazing, and even if you've only tried one, you have to come back and taste all the others.

30/08/2025: Really cozy place. Came for lunch on a Saturday. There was live music with classic Kim Larsen and Shu-bi-dua hits. The roast pork sandwich was top notch.

27/08/2025: This is a lovely café with a cute garden area and chic interieur. The coffee is nice, the Hering open top sandwich is delicious, i also had a fresh ginger shot and the almond and raspberry cake. All was very fresh and absolutely delightful.
This is a must try location in Gilleleje.
The only aspect i would note, is that the service is a bit slow.

21/08/2025: A delightful little café. I had a delicious slice of cake and a latte! The owner was kind and welcoming; it was so nice that I stayed longer than usual to enjoy breakfast with a good book! I'll be back!

19/10/2025: Got the Australian burger, amazing. Unfortunately they didn't give my sister's plaice quite enough.
18/10/2025: Sweet and fast service. The food was really sad. Fish n chips using frozen (not fresh) fish. The fish fillet was not frozen but on the other hand clearly showed signs of being a few days old due to the clear/strong fishy smell. Choose another place.
