27/07/2024: Not professional, took forever to take the order and serve, wasn’t a busy day either had to go and ask for the food. Never again!

23/07/2024: Nice little rustic place with rural idyll and fine quality on all parameters. Don't come here for a quick café service, but enjoy some time in the countryside.

24/12/2024: Straight off the beaten path good pizzas. Good service. Also a busy day. A little tired place if you have to eat there.

07/03/2025: Ordered and picked up 2 pizzas for pickup when they opened. The ham on both pizzas did not taste good. We have eaten here before, where the food tasted really good. Unfortunately, they then openly sell leftovers out of the house. Then we might as well buy a cheap pizza. Practice

13/02/2025: Vi ventede 45 min på en pizza og hovedretten fra dagens menu….. en hovedret der bestemt ikke var kølet for. Det var en travl aften hvilket vel kunne være bedre forberedt. Vi skulle til musikarrangement og flere andre gæster i biografen , og det er jo nok derfor de fleste spiser i restauranten.

29/01/2025: Saseline - quantity over quality - and that's basically fine. The reason I am reacting now is that I ordered 2 evening menus with beef tenderloin. The meat was honest as a rubber sole and in no way matched the price, which was a good DKK 540. The meat, if it was beef tenderloin at all, must have been in the freezer for longer than 6 months. Bad taste - and as mentioned, rubber sole in consistency. We each ate a steak each - the rest was thrown into the green bin - considered the red one as it cannot be categorized as food. Called down there and told about the experience, to which they offered a cup of coffee. A CUP OF COFFEE! No, either a full refund or the chance to provide a meal worth eating. In no way can I recommend Saseline after this experience. If you make sure NOT to choose steaks, I will give them 3 stars for the food.

29/09/2024: The woman serving was rude. We asked if we could bring a dog in and we got it and it passed because by God it's not allowed... We then sat down at a table outside and when she brought the food she again had a violent reaction to dogs which did nothing. The young man was very friendly. The food was a chicken terrine and a porteret with eggs and capers, it was tasteless. The surroundings were beautiful.

23/07/2024: A bit chaotic but also fun. Tarts were quite tasty. They didn't have much choice of drinks. They didn't even have green tea so that was a shame.

09/03/2025: A bit small rooms, but cosy. Relaxed atmosphere, great service and brunch

11/02/2025: TipTop, the old beach hotel has kept its spirit The staff when we were there in February were friendly, nice and competent. Simple breakfast with few but excellent products.

02/03/2025: Pretty good pizzas, but THEN CUT THE DAMN PIZZA OUT!!!! Even though I remind myself of it every time, it doesn't get cut out. ALL other Pizzarias cut their pizzas by default, what's going on why you don't bother to do that??? Don't have a pizza knife myself and have to sit every time with a small crappy knife on the floor (live very small and don't have a table big enough)

01/03/2025: Jeg var og besøge caféen med to af mine veninder, og vi var skuffet over maden og oplevelsen. Vi kommer aldrig tilbage. Først og fremmest, spørg jeg om deres lemonader er med brus, der begyndt tjeneren at tvivle på om de havde denne lemonade, men endte med at sige de havde den. Dog vidste han stadig ikke om der var brus i. Han kommer så ud med 1 hyldeblomst, 1 cola og 1 schweppes lemon, han beder så min veninde at smage på glasset med schweppes, og den smagte af et glas vand med brus i. han beder hende om at vælge noget andet at drikke, og vælger en cola, hvorefter han kommer ud med præcis samme glas som schweppes var i hvor man kan se hun har drukket af det af glasset. Vi vælger at gå med 3 trøffelpasta og de kommer ud og lugter af en sur karklud. Der var intet trøffel smag i, pastaen var de billige nede fra netto og den smagte kun af dårlig parmesan. Vi endte med at spise 5 bider hver, vi kunne ikke få mere ned da det lugtede og smagte så dårligt. Desværre en rigtig ulækker omgang, med en meget uvidende tjener, omkring deres menukortet. Hvis i skal besøge Gilleleje, anbefaler jeg at i vælge et andet sted. Fy.

01/03/2025: I visited the cafe with two of my girlfriends, and we were disappointed with the food and the experience. We will never come back. First of all, I ask if their lemonades are fizzy, the waiter began to doubt if they had this lemonade, but ended up saying they did. However, he still didn't know if there was soda in it. He then comes out with 1 elderflower, 1 cola and 1 schweppes lemon, he then asks my friend to taste the glass of schweppes, and it tasted like a glass of water with soda in it. he asks her to choose something else to drink, and chooses a coke, after which he comes out with the exact same glass that schweppes was in where you can see she has drunk from it from the glass. We choose to go with 3 truffle pastes and they come out smelling like a sour dishcloth. There was no truffle taste in it, the pasta was the cheap ones from the net and it only tasted of bad parmesan. We ended up eating 5 bites each, we couldn't get any more down as it smelled and tasted so bad. Unfortunately, a really disgusting deal, with a very ignorant waiter, about their menu card. If you are going to visit Gilleleje, I recommend that you choose another place. Phew.

27/09/2024: There were four of us here today and we also tried the shooting stars. Except for the fried fish, which was served with a lot of breading and wafer-thin dry fish inside, there was still an acceptable fish. We also ordered the redfish with fries. The fries were good. We were now fed up with breading and will try another fish snack on our next visit. The price is rather too high for the quality of the fish. However, the fresh fish in the fish shop is great.

14/01/2025: Bought bd and cake. Both parts a super good taste experience.
