23/07/2024: Nice little rustic place with rural idyll and fine quality on all parameters. Don't come here for a quick café service, but enjoy some time in the countryside.

31/10/2024: Good cakes and cinnamon bread. Their buns, on the other hand, are boring and their sourdough buns are rubbery. It could be better! Otherwise nice.
24/10/2024: Super delicious bread, but it can take time to be allowed to order if there are many people waiting for coffee in the queue.

07/03/2025: Ordered and picked up 2 pizzas for pickup when they opened. The ham on both pizzas did not taste good. We have eaten here before, where the food tasted really good. Unfortunately, they then openly sell leftovers out of the house. Then we might as well buy a cheap pizza. Practice

30/11/2024: Visited the Møllecaféen in connection with the Christmas market at Esrum Kloster. Was really looking forward to getting a good roast pork sandwich. But I was badly disappointed. For DKK 85. you get a cold and dry burger bun, with one thinly sliced half-warm piece of roast pork. Nothing seems homemade, but everything seems to have been bought from outside. It was the most disappointing experience. Would not recommend others to make the same mistake I did.

12/05/2025: Incredibly cozy beach hotel with a lot of charm. Almost like seeing the beach hotel. Fantastic helpful staff, really nice superior room and small but good breakfast with delicious produce, made the stay something we would like to repeat in the future.

02/03/2025: Pretty good pizzas, but THEN CUT THE DAMN PIZZA OUT!!!! Even though I remind myself of it every time, it doesn't get cut out.
ALL other Pizzarias cut their pizzas by default, what's going on why you don't bother to do that???
Don't have a pizza knife myself and have to sit every time with a small crappy knife on the floor (live very small and don't have a table big enough)

06/04/2025: Small portions and expensive but low quality. We asked for a glass of tap water with our meal and got charged 14 DKK for a glass of TAP water! Nice seating areas. The staff wasn’t very nice.

27/09/2024: There were four of us here today and we also tried the shooting stars. Except for the fried fish, which was served with a lot of breading and wafer-thin dry fish inside, there was still an acceptable fish. We also ordered the redfish with fries. The fries were good. We were now fed up with breading and will try another fish snack on our next visit. The price is rather too high for the quality of the fish. However, the fresh fish in the fish shop is great.

10/05/2025: We were two people and ordered a burger each for DKK 115 per person. Pieces and a draft beer and a glass of red wine.
Red wine was drinkable, but the glass was filthy and full of lime stains. The draft beer looked nice but was not cold. There were 4-5 bites in the burger, and the first two bites were without meat, just had to find steak. Taste of meat was ok and it was hot. However, when we finished, we felt as if we had only had a cheeseburger on a motorcycle. Our stomachs didn't feel like we had eaten. We didn't order fries.

13/08/2024: Bestilte take away. Retten lød på kylling med ovnfaste kartofler. Vi fik pommes frites fra en frostpose. Det var små stykker kylling som smagte fint men den var lidt tør.
Lidt skuffende og mange penge for små portioner.
13/08/2024: Super cool concert with Marie Key 10.08.24. But DKK 350 for a concert menu where e.g. main course was cold, fish and meat bland, arrived 4 small and cold potatoes and all served with what was once definitely crisp and fresh small carrots. Combined with the extremely long wait for the food, it showed signs that the kitchen was ill-prepared to have many people dining. You should probably consider making cold dishes in general, as your hot dish concept does not work. You sat back, hungry and with the feeling of taking 350 kroner, a shot completely missed the mark. You must do better. Next time we will not order food at concerts. And it's a shame for your business if others feel the same way I do.
