02/10/2024: A wonderful cafe with an awesome atmosphere, wonderful happy staff, great food & coffee !!! We were fortunate to be in the cafe to celebrate the 4th anniversary of Romers Kaffebar with a very delicious raspberry cake & wonderful coffee. Thank you Lena & staff.

06/10/2024: My stars go to the falafel which is world class, even after the 3rd visit! As far as I understood the owner when I chatted with him last time, it was his father who opened the legendary falafel stall in Christiania back in the 80s/90s and it is the same recipe he uses as back then. Of course, it can be difficult to get verified just like that, but whatever it is, he makes a furiously good falafel. By the way, my 9-year-old daughter really liked it too ☺️ An overlooked gem in the middle of Hillerød's most unattractive hood 😀

24/10/2024: Really delicious food. We couldn't eat at all. We only had 2 hours as we had to move on to some show. But next time we will set aside more time, the place definitely deserves it.

17/10/2024: Really good smørrebrød. You can bring in a dog. On my visit, however, it was full inside. The surroundings are magical.

10/10/2024: Absolutely fantastic place, took my 95 year old grandmother with me, stop where she enjoyed the trip, the food was delicious, but the trip through the castle garden and the view is impossible to compete with :)

29/10/2024: The quality and freshness of the sushi was top notch. Their toppings and sauces were delightfully different from the well-known sushi chains, it gave it a unique character. They have sashimi in all you can eat, which is not normal. Will definitely come again!

28/07/2024: I tried a single overnight stay with delivered breakfast in Haldbjerg's shelter called Kløften. The shelter is undisturbed in a beautiful little piece of nature at the bottom of a former gravel pit, with just 100m distance to water, toilet and shower. We were given a nice introduction and tour by the local overseer Bjarne. The shelter was well designed with mosquito netting and room for at least four sleepers. the middle section of the floor could even be converted into a table. The roof had a good overhang for dry weather. There was a good bench and table set for dining. The fire place was in a solid fire bowl with tripod and associated grate and pan as well as pot. There is a firewood shed very close by. Delicious breakfast can even be selected and served including coffee, eggs and freshly baked buns. Superb intro shelter where EVERYONE gets a positive experience if you just have your sleeping equipment in order. Hottest recommendations from here

25/09/2024: Skänk - Hillerød Sometimes you find yourself in unchartered beer territory, like Hillerød. Skänk to the rescue. Small but diverse tap selection, showcasing only Danish micro. My first visit, but definitely not my last.

20/10/2024: Have visited the good restaurant intermittently since it was taken over by the current owner. It continues to maintain the good and high standard. In my opinion, it is one of the best in Hillerød. Had booked a table on a Friday. Arrived to a fully booked house. Filled with happy guests and a good atmosphere. Chose the house's social dining this evening. However, only 6 corrected. Then got six different exciting small dishes ranging from raw marinated cod in the form of ceviche with pasion and elderflower pickled chili, to tartar as a starter. From here to the main courses caramelised cauliflower, Hopballemølle chicken with mushrooms and then creamy pasta with mushrooms and truffle. Finished off with a dream dessert. Autumn apples, yoghurt and fig leaf oil. The operation. As always. Friendly, helpful and present. Can absolutely be recommended as a good restaurant to visit when you are in Hillerød.

27/10/2024: Ate there on Saturday night and sat on the 1st floor where there is a jumble of people getting take-out. Unfortunately, there is a distinct smell of sewage from the toilets downstairs from the ground floor :/ Inconvenient to order ad libitum for several people via 1 mobile phone. Bad information from the friendly but very young staff. The price for ad libitum is DKK 288 without the option of choosing or buying additional shrimp chips. And dessert you also had to pay extra for even a scoop of ice cream cost extra. Sashimi salmon nothing to write home about. Not butter soft but slightly chewy fish meat. 1st and last visit

15/10/2024: We really liked the sushi, it was delicious and took literally 15 minutes to prepare. Really big portion for two. We will definitely come again ❤️

31/07/2024: Good baker with seating inside. Very sweet service, the acoustics are slightly bad when the bakery is full of people.

29/07/2024: Cozy shop where we entered and were greeted by polite staff who took our order and which we got shortly after. It's not the last time we've been there, good bread and cakes and a super good coffee at a decent price. Can highly recommend.
