11/06/2026: Ate there on a Wednesday. The food was really good, perfectly spiced to our taste. The service was friendly and competent. It was on the waiter's recommendation that we chose medium spice rather than mild, and it turned out to be just right for us. Actually a pretty cozy place to sit considering that it is primarily a takeaway place. Good value for money and nice vegetarian option.

22/07/2026: We discovered the Punjab Village restaurant accidentally and went there two days in a row. The food was delicious and the spicy levels are individualized to the personal taste. My wife likes European mild and I like Indian spicy. Both spicy levels were great. We had the Chicken Rogan Josh and the King Prawn masala, plus don't forget to order the Mango Lassi for the drink. The Naan bread was perfect. The ambience was rustic with artifacts from the Indian villages in Punjab. Owner was friendly and she also serves as the Chef some of the time. Strongly recommended.

19/07/2026: All the way from Pakistan to denmark and I end up at this fantastic restaurant. I met a very sweet and friendly Tannu who made our evening even better with.her charm and grace.I highly recommend the venue if Pakistanis or Indians " want home cooked or "ghar jaisa khaana" ....then visit the restaurant. I.loved its punjabi vibes and theme.Just like home. THE ghee naan and ghee tarka chana daal is unforgettable! The lamb karahi was extremely delicious with authentic masala.Hats off to the Pakistani chef! I will definitely visit this restaraunt whenever I visit danmark

15/07/2026: Ahhh, so at that price, things just have to work out. You can have a mediocre day, but a bad day where both the food and the service were boring and overdone and the service was slow and unprofessional is not something you can afford at that price level.

30/06/2026: Lunch at The Captain in beautiful sunny weather ☀️ Fortunately, we had booked a table outside, because it was completely packed — but with the perfect weather, it wasn't that strange. The location is absolutely perfect; the restaurant is located perfectly by the marina, so you can enjoy life on the water and watch the boats while you eat. It really adds to the experience. We ordered a Captain Burger with fries and chili mayo and a steak sandwich with the same side dishes, and a glass of cold white wine. The food tasted good overall, but there were also some things that let it down — especially when the prices are on the high end. It was a bit disappointing that you weren't automatically offered water with the wine. I experience this pretty much everywhere when you order wine. The steak sandwich was unfortunately the biggest disappointment. The meat consisted of small pieces rather than what you usually associate with a good steak sandwich — that is, a proper steak cooked medium and cut into slices. Everything here was overcooked and quite dry, which made the experience a bit sad, especially when you consider the price. 95 kr. for a glass of wine without being offered water also drags down. The service was also not at its best. No one asked at any time if the food tasted good, or if we were missing anything. The place generally seemed characterized by very young waiters without much experience. All in all, a pleasant lunch with a fantastic location and good atmosphere, but the food and service unfortunately did not quite live up to the price level.

29/07/2026: A great experience from start to finish! The food was not only incredibly tasty, it was also creative, exciting and beautifully presented. Each dish offered new flavour combinations that really surprised positively, and you could feel that both the ingredients and the details were taken care of. The surroundings were also fantastic, and created a super nice atmosphere, especially on a lovely summer evening like today. A special compliment must go to Julie and Freja, who made the experience even better. They were incredibly present, welcoming and attentive the whole evening. You really felt welcome, and their good mood and professional service made a big difference. All in all, a top-class restaurant experience, where both food, service and atmosphere came together in a higher unity. We will definitely come again and can highly recommend the place!

05/07/2026: There are not many vegan options in the area and this place saved me. I came on multiple occasions. All times I had the falafel box. Very affordable and flavorful. Be sure to try the pomegrante dressing

17/06/2026: The food was good but unfortunately the service was very poor. Yesterday after 7pm I ate there and one of the staff was very arrogant and unpleasant. The person raised his voice and showed no respect for the customer. It is really disappointing when the food is good but the experience is ruined by poor treatment.

18/10/2025: Bought coffee and cake to sit in the café – and got a cardboard cup, plate and cutlery. Asked nicely if you could get real cutlery or a proper cup, and was met with an attitude that almost said: “Okay boomer, relax – we’re doing cardboard here.” Was about to order two teacups, but just asked if there was a deal if you took three. “Yes, that’s 3 for 60.” “So two for 30?” “No, actually 4 for 60.” … Well – I was just going to give 30 for 2?! It felt like discussing mental arithmetic with a piece of cardboard in human form. In addition, there was dirt on the tables and sticky residue around the counter – you could almost feel the bad smiley in the air. And honestly: it seems deserved. … Maybe Lagkagehuset should consider baking a little less – and thinking a little more.

03/05/2026: You can buy sandwiches and cakes. They have some delicious cakes and coffee, tea, matcha, etc. Super nice staff and there is room for all ages.

14/04/2026: Absurdly high prices for some of the worst coffee I've had in a long time. Yes, a latte contains milk – but their iced coffee is really just a glass of milk with syrup and ice. The coffee is almost non-existent, and it tastes exactly like that. 62 kr. for that? That's ridiculous. You're basically paying for the water from the ice cubes and a liter of milk. It gets even worse if you say anything: no apology, no service – just a message to pay extra, even though it's their own lousy preparation that's the problem. The staff seems completely indifferent and downright difficult to deal with. And as a bonus, they never clean up, so you have to remove other people's dirty dishes yourself if you want to sit down. The only positive thing about an espresso house experience is good space and good side tables and decor. Overall: expensive, sloppy and a thoroughly bad experience.

02/11/2025: I ordered pizza from this place and got a pizza with rotten meat that smelled rotten. We ended up throwing the pizza out and when we contacted the pizzeria for a refund they basically told us we were lying. I can't recommend this place in any way. They don't take responsibility for serving food that is not only obvious but can also make people sick.

02/07/2026: There were 6 of us on June 28th to eat some good food and enjoy the atmosphere at the harbor. At first, it took a really long time before a waiter came - he was asked if there were carrots in the salad, as one of the guests is VERY allergic to carrots - it must not have been anywhere near the food she was going to eat. The waiter was not familiar with what was in the food (they should know that kind of thing in relation to allergens) but he wanted to mention it to the kitchen. He seemed equally confused and uninterested. The food came, and after some time carrots were discovered in the salad, a huge disaster, as it triggers difficult airways. Luckily we had her medicine with us, which was taken immediately and then she had to eat other people's food, without a trace of carrots. After a very long time, a waiter came and wanted to clear away - out of 6 plates he took two. We asked about the salad and carrots, and in a sharp tone - they were made aware that they had put carrots in it despite the explanation that she was allergic. He shrugged and left with the 2 plates - then did not return after the last 4. After sitting and talking again, and waiting for a waiter to pay - we had to ask ourselves if payment was made inside - it was. Inside the counter, the problem with the carrots was again made aware, where he asked for a small discount on the bill - that was out of the question, but he could get a free meal the next time he came. We have absolutely no plans to come back, solely due to their total lack of service.

20/06/2026: No service. Rude waiter. Waited 30 minutes for menu and drink card. Ended up leaving without getting food and drink

27/08/2025: Probably some of the worst fast food we've ever had. Their "snack basket" is a study in the most tacky frozen foods, so far from their own website description of wanting to "tease your senses". The pizza with chicken, pepperoni and bacon (called "Ferroperm") was incredibly boring and uninspiring. If the pizza dough and tomato sauce are from a 30 year old family recipe, we would really consider starting a new tradition! The harbor is a beautiful place with atmosphere and good energy - what a shame that this place doesn't contribute to this!
