22/09/2026: A place we randomly dropped into, expecting waiters with their noses in the clouds and several thousand kroner for a few pieces of food. We were positively surprised… Sweet and proper young waiters, top-quality food and a table even though we hadn't booked. The bill was no more expensive than we are used to in South Zealand and we have now been there twice. Will definitely come again!

06/09/2026: We managed to get a table for two on Saturday evening without a reservation – thank you so much! The very friendly staff provided excellent service throughout our meal. The food – we had the three-course menu and the plaice – was absolutely perfect!

11/06/2026: Ate there on a Wednesday. The food was really good, perfectly spiced to our taste. The service was friendly and competent. It was on the waiter's recommendation that we chose medium spice rather than mild, and it turned out to be just right for us. Actually a pretty cozy place to sit considering that it is primarily a takeaway place. Good value for money and nice vegetarian option.

20/09/2026: Always a great pleasure to come to Rungsted. Not only is the food delicious, the service level is top class. I am often served by Rudi who always makes it a great experience, whether it is takeaway or in the restaurant. Also big praise for Liva. The 2 are incredibly talented and if I could give them 10 stars they would get 15. Thank you 2 🙏

23/08/2026: It was simply a pig party of all times that was in full swing with live shows and singing and music...reservations necessary for limited seating.

15/07/2026: Ahhh, so at that price, things just have to work out. You can have a mediocre day, but a bad day where both the food and the service were boring and overdone and the service was slow and unprofessional is not something you can afford at that price level.

05/07/2026: There are not many vegan options in the area and this place saved me. I came on multiple occasions. All times I had the falafel box. Very affordable and flavorful. Be sure to try the pomegrante dressing

02/11/2025: I ordered pizza from this place and got a pizza with rotten meat that smelled rotten. We ended up throwing the pizza out and when we contacted the pizzeria for a refund they basically told us we were lying. I can't recommend this place in any way. They don't take responsibility for serving food that is not only obvious but can also make people sick.

03/05/2026: You can buy sandwiches and cakes. They have some delicious cakes and coffee, tea, matcha, etc. Super nice staff and there is room for all ages.

14/04/2026: Absurdly high prices for some of the worst coffee I've had in a long time. Yes, a latte contains milk – but their iced coffee is really just a glass of milk with syrup and ice. The coffee is almost non-existent, and it tastes exactly like that. 62 kr. for that? That's ridiculous. You're basically paying for the water from the ice cubes and a liter of milk. It gets even worse if you say anything: no apology, no service – just a message to pay extra, even though it's their own lousy preparation that's the problem. The staff seems completely indifferent and downright difficult to deal with. And as a bonus, they never clean up, so you have to remove other people's dirty dishes yourself if you want to sit down. The only positive thing about an espresso house experience is good space and good side tables and decor. Overall: expensive, sloppy and a thoroughly bad experience.
