19/09/2026: My wife and I booked for an 8.30pm dinner which was the only available time on a busy Friday evening. We were stunned by the food, wine and the service. The servings were delicious and very generous. I am a big eater but sadly, I couldn’t finish my main meal, as delicious as it was. I had the fish soup for entree which had wonderful depth of flavour. My main was the Tartare. As amazing as it was, I would suggest the smaller serving. The wine list was extraordinary with an offering at every price point. They offered over 150 wines by the glass and the servings were again very generous. We left the restaurant at 11.30pm and went back the next day for lunch!!

16/09/2026: Really worth a visit, and the Michelin star is well deserved. Portion sizing vs. Price is better than average, and can really recommend.

06/09/2026: Very good tasting ice cream. The pricing is very weird though, to the point of it being cheaper to get a lot of scoops on a single cone and sharing instead of getting separate ones.

15/08/2026: Very good pizza. I had a Margherita. The crust was thin and crispy. A very small restaurant, more geared towards takeaway pizza. Nevertheless, very nicely decorated. Highly recommended!

20/08/2026: Superb food - best cooking during our stay in Aarhus (and we ate in some great restaurants !) Imaginative dishes, using high quality ingredients and beautifully put together. An amazing wine list - the glasses they recommended to go with specific dishes were really clever pairings. A restaurant that really knows what it is doing!

15/09/2026: An unforgettable evening! We dined at L’estragon in Aarhus today and were absolutely thrilled. From the very first minute, we felt incredibly comfortable. The service was perfect – attentive, warm, and pleasantly unobtrusive. The menu explanations were expert, engaging, and delivered with palpable passion. You can immediately tell that the people working here love their craft and are eager to share their knowledge with their guests. And then the food: simply divine! Every course was superb, creative, and perfectly seasoned. A truly memorable experience where you savor every bite. For us, it was a completely perfect evening – fantastic food, wonderful wine, outstanding service, and an atmosphere where everything just clicked. A definite recommendation and a restaurant we will gladly return to. ❤️

15/09/2026: Ate yesterday at Spice of India. Really good experience. We had tasty soups for starters, 4 different dishes with rice, all super tasty, with this deep flavor that you can't make at home in the kitchen. Service was top notch, with good advice and tips. The price was more than reasonable, definitely not the last time we visit the place.

20/09/2026: I gave mefisto 5 stars 5 years ago, but it can't be more than 2 stars today. I've been visiting Aarhus for the last 10 years, where I've had mefisto's shooting star. It was really delicious in the past, but it's the craziest saving exercise these days - the shooting star has lost its good taste, become smaller and at the same time more expensive than ever before. You actually leave hungry, which has never been the case before. Unfortunately, this is probably the last time I've eaten there.

12/09/2026: A delicious lunch with sumptuous dishes on every plate was enjoyed in festive surroundings by Saturday training at the café. Very attentive staff, quick service and everyone left well-filled, as the food tasted so good that it could not be left behind - despite the crowd.

24/08/2026: La Cabra is a special bakery whose reputation extends far beyond the borders of Denmark. Accordingly, it always appears when you search online for the best bakeries in Denmark. We also visited during our trip to Aarhus. The bakery is extremely stylishly furnished, clean, and features a viewing window into the bakery. The pastries are neatly displayed, each piece individually presented as if to be given special attention. You can tell that La Cabra doesn't just want to be a bakery, but also aims to function as a brand with its Nordic purity. It's a shame there's no seating inside. Perhaps this was a deliberate choice to emphasize the tranquility of the shop? At least there's a bench outside the bakery where you can sit if you don't want to take your pastries to go or eat them elsewhere. We opted for the classic cardamom bun and a cinnamon roll. The cardamom bun was visually stunning. Exquisitely crafted, intricately shaped, and simply beautiful to behold. The flavor was wonderfully buttery and sweet, with just the right amount of cardamom. The dough was soft yet chewy—not in a negative way, but rather in a way that prevented it from crumbling and offered a satisfying texture. Truly an outstanding pastry! The cinnamon roll was different. It had a flaky, marbled, and slightly crispy dough with a light and airy bite. The cinnamon flavor was intense, and the roll was coated in a delicious glaze. Unexpected, but equally delicious. Presumably, it's a signature pastry, not an attempt to replicate the classic cinnamon roll, but rather, like the cardamom bun, a unique contrast. We were absolutely impressed by both pastries and, like many before us, wholeheartedly recommend La Cabra to every visitor to Aarhus.

21/08/2026: We got a cinnamon bun, a cardamom bun, and a rye bread here. We haven't tasted the bread yet, but the 2 coffee cakes were very good.👌 If you aren't from Denmark, it is very pricey. (For 2 coffee cakes and 1 loaf, you currently pay around €10 in Belgium; here it was €19). But, still happy with our purchase; it was very good quality and very tasty! 😋

28/06/2026: Waited almost an hour for service, which seemed arrogant and indifferent. Got the wrong food, warm white wine and warm glasses. The food was great, but we still won't be back. When paying there was no apology or acknowledgement of our experience. A bit of a shame, because they have a nice location with the possibility of a cool atmosphere.

15/06/2026: The truffle pasta with sausage was wonderful. As was the gnocchi. Really enjoyed their gelato (it's not ice cream!). Seating both inside and out, although we found it a bit hot inside, so sat outside.

05/09/2026: The absolute most wonderful place in Aarhus❤️The food is always very well made and totally delicious, the bubble tea is fabulous (and there are many options) and of course, the staff consists of really kind, polite and very friendly workers❤️ I recommend this amazing place from the heart. 08/07/2026: Poor nail prep and the acrylic touched the skin many times and even when I asked her to remove it as it is extremely dangerous she didn't. She made me bleed several times
