08/09/2025: Really noisy in the restaurant and mediocre food. Good wine

28/08/2025: We went to Restaurant ET in Aarhus for what was supposed to be a business lunch, and ended up sitting there for almost 7 hours. That alone says something about the experience. We started with oysters, which were spot on. Served simply with lemon, a small crouton and sauce – really delicious. Then I had the beef tartare. It was good, nicely spiced and tasty, but very different from the classic style. Tartare is always interpreted differently: sometimes chunky, sometimes mousse-like, sometimes more like a salad. This one was very much like a tuna salad in texture. I liked it, but I personally prefer the more traditional version. Presentation also wasn’t as nice as I’d expect from a Bib Gourmand place. And the portion of fries that came with it was strange – literally 6 or 7 fries on the plate – though the bearnaise served on the side was excellent. Dessert was also really good, beautifully made and very tasty. After the meal we stayed for cocktails, and they were absolutely amazing. The drinks kept flowing, and the owner even came around with chartreuse which was a really nice touch. What really makes this place stand out though is the atmosphere and service. The restaurant is tucked into a little courtyard in the center of Aarhus, which is a beautiful setting. The staff were warm, professional and genuinely welcoming – not just during the meal, but for the entire afternoon and evening we sat there. Even though it’s a fine dining place, the vibe was relaxed and low-key, which made it feel comfortable. All in all, a fantastic experience. Great food, top-class cocktails, beautiful location and some of the best service I’ve had in Aarhus.

01/11/2025: Everything here is just perfect. I had my first date with my boyfriend here in Oct 2024 and we were going to celebrate by eating here again on the same day in 2025. We came very late and were allowed to sit until a little past closing time and you just have to know that we really appreciate it ❤️. We definitely plan to eat here every year on that day.

29/10/2025: I have ordered items from there three times through Wolt two of the times they were rejected and no explanation why the third time. I ordered from there I got my items half an hour late and the pork roast and the other was so dry it was inedible not a restaurant I will buy from again

09/09/2025: A different kind of eatery. Located in an old factory building and it shows in the premises which clearly indicates this. So if you want to experience a different place, then you have the opportunity here.

17/08/2025: The food is fantastic, but you do have to order it at the bar. The rooftop terrace is a great place to sit and soak up the sun. I ordered a salmon and avocado sandwich, and it was incredibly filling. It was also delicious. Definitely recommended.

20/09/2025: Very nice little café. Not a big menu but the food is very good! Very fresh and nice flavours. Although there was fennel in the hummus 😬. Other than that it was great! 👍 Good prices too.

18/08/2025: A very nice café where all the tables seem to always be occupied. And rightly so, because they serve the most delicious rolls I've ever eaten.

16/08/2025: Great café with vegan dishes, some of the portions are very small. Not a requirement, and they don't even bring the menu (it says you have to order at the counter). The atmosphere and taste are top-notch!

06/10/2025: We liked it and were pleasantly surprised. Good coffee, delicious pastries, and a wide variety of juices that the owner gave us to try... and they were worth it. If I return to Aarhus, I'll come back.

25/07/2025: We had our wedding at Domestic in the spring and had an absolutely amazing experience. Highly recommended. First of all, the food was top notch (two of the guests said it was the best meal of their lives). Then, the service also exceeded our wildest expectations - both before the party, where we experienced great flexibility, responsiveness and genuine curiosity. And during the party, where the kitchen and waiters were super sweet, attentive and passionate. Finally, I would like to mention the place and the atmosphere, which is cozy, elegant, and without being pretentious. 5/5!

12/07/2025: Maden er deres Michelinstjerne værdig - fedt koncept. Men stemningen og ikke mindst den nærværende, personlige og professionelle betjening gjorde aftenen til noget særligt. Klar anbefaling herfra - vi kommer gerne igen

11/10/2025: Lovely atmosphere and good acoustics. French inspired with glass in the ceiling and nice tables with place settings which gave a romantic atmosphere. We chose four courses from their October menu with wine menu. The food was really good and four courses was plenty: we were full. Got a Greek red wine with the lamb dish, which was really good. All in all a really good experience. A lovely evening.

29/09/2025: We had a fantastic evening at L’Estragon. The food was excellent and the wine and juice menu was fantastic. It’s great that non-alcoholic alternatives are taken seriously and paired professionally with the menu. The restaurant is intimate and beautifully decorated. The staff are attentive, informative, flexible and created just the right, relaxed atmosphere so that all 14 of our guests were comfortable. THANK YOU 🧡 Warmest recommendations from here.
