11/12/2025: Delicious, delicious food and high-quality wine. Truly a taste experience of the very best. At the same time, there was a cozy, relaxed atmosphere and good service and attention, despite a full house on a Tuesday. We also enjoyed Lars’ (the owner) anecdotes and delicious tastings. We felt both (comfortably) seen and pampered. We can highly recommend the restaurant.

05/12/2025: We were here for Christmas lunch. I think we had a total of 10 dishes. Everything was really delicious. But I have to highlight the herring and breaded fish, which were exceptionally good. We will be back :-)

13/12/2025: An indeed super good BMO, however, I’m not sure if it is the best one in town, as a lot of people say. But if we are not talking about the cardamom bolle, then I’m ready to start spreading the word that it is probably the best one in Aarhus. Super super fluffy, every bite has that sugar crispiness mixed with the cardomon, it filled my heart (as well as my stomach 😁).

18/12/2025: The most surreal dining experience I have ever had. I don’t know if it was the food, the service, the wine – or whatever I was carrying with me that day, but it all just came together. When the first spoonful of dessert hit my taste buds, it wasn’t just pleasure that hit me, but something bigger. It was as if all the emotions I had been holding back came out at once. Tears started to well up – not from sadness, but from sheer overwhelm. It was an experience that left its mark on me. I wish everyone could try something similar. Thank you for an evening I will never forget. Your passion and care are felt in every detail – it makes all the difference. I can’t wait to come back.

31/10/2025: I had a very nice evening at Domestic, with the 4-dish meny and alcohol-free pairings. In addition to the 4 main servings, there were several other plates served. Only one dish (a slightly too cold and chewy cured white fish) was less than excellent. Interesting homemade alcohol-free beverages (the meat pairing beverage could've been less sweet though). Very nice staff. The dessert was particularly delicious.

10/12/2025: This is an excellent restaurant with a wide range of exciting dishes all very well prepared. I have dined there several times and every time has been a great pleasure with great food and excellent service.

01/11/2025: Everything here is just perfect. I had my first date with my boyfriend here in Oct 2024 and we were going to celebrate by eating here again on the same day in 2025. We came very late and were allowed to sit until a little past closing time and you just have to know that we really appreciate it ❤️. We definitely plan to eat here every year on that day.

29/10/2025: I have ordered items from there three times through Wolt two of the times they were rejected and no explanation why the third time. I ordered from there I got my items half an hour late and the pork roast and the other was so dry it was inedible not a restaurant I will buy from again

11/10/2025: Lovely atmosphere and good acoustics. French inspired with glass in the ceiling and nice tables with place settings which gave a romantic atmosphere. We chose four courses from their October menu with wine menu. The food was really good and four courses was plenty: we were full. Got a Greek red wine with the lamb dish, which was really good. All in all a really good experience. A lovely evening.

29/09/2025: We had a fantastic evening at L’Estragon. The food was excellent and the wine and juice menu was fantastic. It’s great that non-alcoholic alternatives are taken seriously and paired professionally with the menu. The restaurant is intimate and beautifully decorated. The staff are attentive, informative, flexible and created just the right, relaxed atmosphere so that all 14 of our guests were comfortable. THANK YOU 🧡 Warmest recommendations from here.
