21/03/2025: Great Italian a short walk from our hotel. Lovely food!

14/03/2025: Very strange atmosphere on such a Friday night. The waiters were confused and you could tell they wanted everything to go quickly. They promise bread for all pasta dishes, but I didn't get that. In Italy you always get the option to add extra cheese, garlic, olive oil etc., but not here. The pasta was actually nice, but I don't think everyone would be satisfied with it. So at DKK 162 for a pasta dish it is very disappointing.

05/03/2025: We had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Royal for a couple of nights, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The hotel is located in an elegant and charming neighborhood, making it both visually appealing and easy to access. From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was seamless, and we were immediately impressed by the exceptional hospitality of the staff. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, offering assistance with anything we needed and providing thoughtful recommendations to enhance our stay. Their genuine warmth and attention to detail made us feel truly valued as guests. Our room, while not particularly spacious, was impeccably clean and thoughtfully appointed to maximize comfort. The high standard of housekeeping was evident throughout our stay, contributing to an overall sense of relaxation and ease. In summary, our experience at Hotel Royal was thoroughly enjoyable, and we would not hesitate to return on a future visit. The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodation, and a prime location makes this hotel a wonderful choice.

09/03/2025: The boat café at Marselisborg Harbor is a real gem for those who love cozy surroundings, good food and a unique atmosphere. Located on the old ferry "Sorte Louis", the café cradles calmly on the water and offers guests an incomparable view of the harbor - a perfect place for a relaxing moment away from the noise of the city.

13/03/2025: Best bakery in all of Århus. Change my mind. Staff is always nice and the self service is so great for those of us, who have a hard time deciding what to get. Their sourdough buns are unmatched and I always buy extra buns to bring home to CPH, whenever I visit. Freeze them and pop them in oven when I need a Berta fix. Not to forget their pumpkin seed croissant. Sometimes I eat two of them, because they are that good. I’m tearing up just thinking about them. 15/10.

28/02/2025: Today I found a small lump of hair in my otherwise incredibly delicious sourdough bun... it was a bit of a shame, as I otherwise LOVE your baked goods<33

07/02/2025: Nabo Kiosk was my favorite cafe in Aarhus. Because this atmosphere was comfortable and I love this coffee. And that hot chocolate was awesome. Oh, the panini was also really tasty.

10/12/2024: A cozy and nice place for a cup of coffee and bolle med øst. I really like that it's a family friendly place and atmosphere.

09/04/2025: We were asked to recycle our glasses to save washing up. It is terribly unhygienic and bad style. Lovely premises, but such stinginess is unforgivable.

01/03/2025: Nice beer bar with 20+ taps with good special beer from eg Grauballe and Aarhus brew house ❤️ In addition, there is a large selection of beer in cans and bottles. A few drinks - and free tap water Cozy surroundings with nice, used sofas and chaise longues. Even though the bartender was squealingly busy on such a Friday and payday on top, he had the energy for friendly comments. I don't know if it is possible to smoke inside a place, but the bodega itself is non-smoking. Thanks for that 🍻

08/03/2025: Rejected due to 'bad flow' even though the place was half empty

04/02/2025: A real shame. Have been there before, where you could taste and see that the food was made by skilled chefs. The last time we were there was on mine and my boyfriend's 15th birthday. A really boring experience. The main course was absolutely terrible. Asked for a tenderloin cooked medium-well, which was obviously cooked in the oven, not pan-fried. It was totally overcooked, the waiter fired some idiotic explanation that such a piece of meat could not be fried on the pan, which most of all testified that he knows nothing about food and is only used to making frozen pizzas. I also got a thyme sauce (that's what he called it) which tasted like a bad bought sauce. Otherwise, there was red wine ice cream on the menu, and when I mentioned it, he wanted to check the menu, but never returned. All in all a boring experience. My boyfriend also got almost spoiled lobster tails, which you could clearly taste were not fresh, and they were even rimmed, meaning not cooked. All in all a terrible experience. Only star goes to my starter which was a cappacio it was good. Really sad that the quality of the food fluctuates depending on which day you are there and who is at work. DKK 1100 out of the window.
